Oscraps

Do you create multiple versions of the same page?

On the topic of scrapping for albums ... While creating original pages is fun, sometimes, if I really like a page, I reuse the design for other albums I create as gifts for my family - I obviously wouldn't want to have a clone in my own album... here are the two pages that illustrate what I mean

Anyone else does that?

PS: the clone (featuring my son) is a bit out of balance on its own because it was created as part of a spread...

I don't think I have, but I don't see anything wrong with it, Olga. I think it's perfectly fine and nobody sees each other's gifts. At least none of my family does.

I have used my LOs as templates occasionally. When I make an album for my nephew, I usually have timed it so awfully, that I have 12 pages to make in a week ;) I'll use my old pages, pop in the photos, and then change to papers/elements as needed.
Whatever works!

yup. When making large albums, I have been known to use the basic premise, switch out papers etc. Sometimes I use the same cluster adding relevant elements or changing a flower or two. Sometimes I flip the page so it looks different, take part of the papers off and add different papers or add appropriate word art.

Oh, I know what you mean.. timing is crucial... I try to finish my albums and then wait until they have a good deal, something like 60% off with free delivery... and sometimes I do finish an album and it sits there waiting... and sometimes I spot a deal, grab a coupon and end up scrapping like mad... - I know there should be one for 11.11 - it is such a neat date, and I have another album in the works... still need three pages min...

Yep, flipping the template can make a page look completely different... and simply moving the elements in a cluster works wonders for variety...
