Thank you and we also do after the month of may mow only parts of the grass. We have a LOT of yard in different areas of our property and in the back yard and the big side yard we usually only mow sections of it, leaving patches of wildflowers for the polinators and the wild life that enjoys eating the greensYou have a beautiful yard!!

We have to mow our lawn (patch of dirt and weeds mostly) because of the dogs but I leave a lot of the leaves and plants at the edges of my property. When it is time to uncover the flowers buried underneath them, I try to scoop the leaves and nd push them a few feet back into the woods. I'm a little later getting to it this year and a lot of the plants are yellow from lack of sun. They should perk up soon.
Vera, your yard is beautiful, like an oasis of green ♥
Indeed, more greenery provides better drainage instead of all the paved squares.that is the trend here too,
the best excuse to leave the weeds untouched!
there are also campaigns here to replace any tiles you have with anything green,
so much better for nature and holds any rain water better than pavements. and it is cooler in the summer!
