December posting challenge

Gosh, it's December already, where did that year go?
December is the traditional month that we look back to last year.
There are many people here at Oscraps who have family members or fight themselves with a disease. I may say that it has been an agigated year for many people, because there are many who have lost a family member or friend. And I can not forget our pets, because they are also part of a family.

Despite these worries and sorrows, I hope that together we can look back on a fantastic scrap year. And especially the friendship that is here between all our members!

No to the challenge, i start with 36.070 and will try to go for 36.500

Yes, December already!
No matter what happens in our lives, we can always come here to Oscraps for friends, scrap, help, support etc.
I just met last months goal, so I can set a new goal for December
now at 31.800 and with try for 32.000

Vera, so well said. I was saying in the Daily Ooos that 2018 was a difficult one even though my health has been the best (whatever that means) in the last few years. But I am so happy to have all of the Oscraps friends and fam with me. I don't know what I would do without you all. :kiss:
On to my goal... currently at 46,282 and I am going to shoot for...*grits teeth* 46,500. Might be tough since it is a busy month but I always chat a lot during Oscraps Events. :typing:

I start by 5618 ....
Will try to do a max this month, but it will be very difficult !
December is such a busy month here in Alsace ... i am baking since days ...
and my right arm hurts me: I have tendonitis that wakes up from time to time, and of course it's really not the right moment! (but that's never the right moment!)

I have a bursitis in my shoulder, and jolien is also baking here at home, not good for our diet :D
Just do as you can ;)

My gosh in 3 days i already have 177 posts !!!
So many pages in our december challenge !!!

I am a week due to my bursitis, so I have some extra time now

yes, the 12 days gallery keeps me busy! I am up to date now, but scared to look tomorrow morning!

Ho ho ho! I have already met my goal :)
For a couple of years, I had hardly any time to post ... It's so nice to be able to enjoy the gallery again.

I am going to start baking along with Marie-Claire and Vera. It's almost time to make the trip home to see my mom. There is one type of cookie that she loves that took me years to perfect (because my grandmother was not very good about writing down all of the ingredients). It takes a couple of days to make them but she will be very happy! Plus, I my daughter will make the trip with me this year which will be an extra surprise.

I am so far behind in life, I can't stand it! I was telling my DH a few minutes ago how pathetic I have been here at the O. And IRL-- I haven't even started Christmas baking.
Adryane-- what kind of cookies are you baking? Your mom is going to be very happy to see all of you!

Chris I have been home for a whole week, a bit active here at the O, but for the rest I had so many plans, baking, flower arranging etc but nothing was done!

I think this is the time where we are all supposed to take a deep breath ...

The cookies are called biscochos. You make the dough one day and let it stay in the refrigerator over night. The next day you have to roll and cut and twist and bake them twice! I still haven't started but my trip is not for another week.

Hoping you all have time to get to your baking and holiday merry-making!

Deep breath? What is that???? hahaha!!!
The cookies sound amazing if somewhat intense to make. I think I might do some baking today but nothing as time-consuming as that. I was going to get out to do shopping but it is supposed to snow all day. Not a lot by any means but I don't want to deal with the mountain roads getting home if it gets slippery.

a few days left, and i think the 12 days of december gallery is amazing !!
as i count today 396 pages !!!
untill now i have 722 comments in the gallery and at the forum :D

And we still have 3 days to go :flame:
