I usually do the same thing, too unless one of us posts on here. I surprised myself by being on the ball this month.I saw and ignored the email from Amazon. I'll have to take a look at the choices soon. For the last few months, I have forgotten about them until I get the "Last Chance" emails and then I grab whatever looks decent.
This one looked good too, Mel. It's always hard to pick just one.I almost got the same one Cheryl, but I eventually settled on this one as a change from the historical fiction kick I've been on recently:

I was leaning toward Close Your Eyes, too. Let me know which one you choose. You usually pick a good one. I love WW2 era novels, by the way.I am leaning mostly toward "Close Your Eyes" -- the one Rae picked. Right now, I am reading a historical fiction that flips between post-WWII Ireland and contemporary times. What the Light Touches seems somewhat similar.
I'll think on it and see what hots me in another day or two.
Oh yay, Tracy. You're going to get hooked on these. That book is very popular - I might have made a mistake because I almost picked that one.I just got my first ever First Reads. I chose the mystery one, the one Rae picked. Close your Eyes.
Just one more addiction. Oh wait, I'm already addicted to books. Kindle told me I have read 93 books so far this year and that floored me. But I can't wait to try these new books. Told daughter all about it too and we shall see what she picks. I was torn between the one you picked and the one I picked. Would have gotten both if I could have.Oh yay, Tracy. Like we need one more addiction, right? It's just a great way to add to your library for free. Every once in awhile, they give us two books. One time, last year, it was International Book Month and we got at least 2. I got a couple of really good books that time. I love reading about different cultures.Just one more addiction. It sure is!This one looked good too, Mel. It's always hard to pick just one.

That's the best thing about it. I love finding new authors and if you don't like the book..................it's free, so you don't feel like you have to read it.I love that they're free. And allows me to find a new author who I might not have read if I had to pay. Once I find someone good I am willing to pay for their other books.
I haven't had very many that I didn't like, though. That's a great thing.It sure is!
Yup! That's my incentive to rotate the genre a bitThat's the best thing about it. I love finding new authors and if you don't like the book..................it's free, so you don't feel like you have to read it.
Well, let us know when you decide.Yup! That's my incentive to rotate the genre a bit
PS: Still haven't made the choice for December yet, however. LOL
