Morning O-Zies!! Just popping in and out of here quickly this morning. It's a lovely sunny day here and DH and I are postponing our trip to Costco until tomorrow. We will be outside today instead enjoying the spring weather and doing some pruning and cutting the grass. Grocery shopping and other errands that need to be done. Weekends are always busy for us, DH is still working full time so he only has the weekend to do his work around the house and yard. Yesterday was a good day I got a couple of paintings done and scrapped one of two pages from my hike. I need to get the second one done sometime this weekend. I have been doing some planning for a new Challenge that will start on April 1st and I hope that everyone gets a chance to play along with this one!! I need to get breakfast on the go right now, but will be back shortly to catch up with everyone!

Good morning! How rare for me to post when it is before noon. Wet and windy today and they're threatening snow tomorrow. Normal up and down spring I guess. Not much happening here but that is fine.

Trudy, love the sound of multiple paintings and scrap page done. Looking forward to seeing them and the new challenge too.

I've forgotten everyone's posts from yesterday, but hugs to all and wishes for a wonderful weekend.

Good day! OMgosh it is 70 degrees and mostly sunny. My DH and I took a walk downtown with Luther to pick up his meds for his tooth. He feels much better now that the tooth is out. He is going to have to let this heal and then go for implants. Poor guy. But the walk downtown was awesome. Started out with a light jacket which I removed quickly! Tonight is my last Devils home game against the St. Louis Blues who lost to the Rangers last night but since they have clinched maybe they will be resting players. I actually scrapped a page yesterday. Yea!

Trudy I am watching the Bruins right now. They are not resting their players. Have fun with your busy weekend.

Jean oh no if you are getting rain today then that means it come my way tomorrow. I hope the snow is a no go!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Jean - It is very quiet in here today! Hopefully Chris is doing well and is not outside gardening or something silly like that LOL. Sorry that you are still experiencing wintery weather! Enough already!! Hope you get to enjoy your weekend without snow!!

Rae - So happy that you have found balance in your day! How fun to open up those older kits and feel like they are brand new! You have gotten lots of beautiful pages done and still you are able to keep up with your workload! I too want to see a page of you and Taz brushing your teeth together :becky: Thanks for loving my paintings I really do appreciate it! Hope you hear soon about B's home care placement!!

Nancy - Your poor DH!! Ouch that must be so painful for him!! Hope his appt today went well and he is now pain free! Thanks for loving my new painting, I am still unsure about it, but then I am my own worst critic! LOL Hope you are having a lovely weekend!

Well we are watching the 1st period of the Bruins hockey game and then out the door to do our running around etc. Have a great weekend ladies!!

Finally have time to pop in and say "Hi". Yesterday turned into a good day - errand-wise. Drove across town to pick up my Tax package... such good news that it wasn't as bad a hit as I was braced for. Decided to run out to the base to see if they carried the BluRay player and phone-system I need to get. The base was only 5 miles away from Tax place. I lucked out on the BluRay player - they had it and saved over $30 over the price I had seen! Did a bit of a happy dance. But they only had a 2 phone system... and I need at least a 4 or 5 one. Decided to check to see if my meds refill was ready - it was not suppose to be ready until April 2. Imagine my surprise that it was done. So decided to do my grocery shopping at the commissary while I was there. Although it took most of the day to get it all done, I was glad to not have to make another trip there next week.

Had to run over to the Post Office this morning to get the tax bill mailed. Of course, since the intersection to get to it closed for now... it was another go round several blocks to get to it. Picked up some more stamps while I was there. Forgot that the US stamps had gone up in price... meant to pick more up before the increase. <<< sigh >>>

The Birthday Bash was lots of fun. Happy for all who won prizes/kits. I got the last LO done for March and almost missed getting it done. Working on a couple of LOs for April. Can't wait to see the April challenges. New challenges usually get my creative juices flowing. I am in a bit better mood today and hope it lasts. Don't like feeling blue but know it will come and go.

Our temps have fallen back to 'normal' for this time of year... high's in the low 60's again. Needed my jacket this morning. Noticed that some weeds are sprouting up in the front yard so guess I need to get them sprayed/pulled. The wind was up and howling again last night. Suppose to be windy again this afternoon so I plan on staying home.

Trudy, glad you are getting some of your yard work done with the good weather.

Rae, your DH has my sympathy over the tooth... sometimes it is better to pull it. I had to do that with one of mine.

Jean, sorry to hear you might have snow again.

I am still running on empty [not enough sleep lately]. I may take snuggle under my warm fleece throw, read a little and maybe take a nap this afternoon.

Good afternoon, ladies. Had a lovely morning, coffee and my book, a long walk with Taz and then ran errands, stopping for stuff for dinner. Jen is coming and we're going to binge watch The Passage tonight.

Chris - hope you are getting better every day.

Trudy - enjoy this beautiful weather. I'm hoping to get a cherry blossom photo soon before the rain comes.

Hope everyone is having a good wkend. I'm going to work on a LO before taking Taz to the pet store soon.

Hello girls,
I'm in very grumpy mode and not talkative at all, sorry!
Today is the Earth hour 8:30 to 9:30 pm your local time. We already did it with my family.
We have complied our traditions at the day to plant plants, and to switch off the whole electricity in our household (except the refrigerators) not only the lights. The only tradition I broke was to scrap a flyer about that! I'm not finished my page on time this year, because most of the day I watched sh*** on the TV and online.

I hope I'm the only one who cares about that here! But if you are heard already that the reporter I was talking about, before few days is hire the lawyer Gloria Allred. Famous lawyer who is talk lies about Michael Jackson in past. And you wondering what happens, don't forget that true always have two sides! I'm so piss off about all ridiculous and offence things that angry feminists write at the social media about the culture of my country. So just watch this video, I'm chose short one.

Wave to all, sorry for no personals today, I'll compensate next time!
Have a lovely weekend and will see you next month!

Good morning, lOves! I am getting around so much better, no crutches for the most part. I only needed to take Alleve yesterday which makes me happy. BUT-- and this is a warning to myself- this is the most dangerous part of my recovery. I feel better, can get around better which makes me think that I am back to normal. This is where I always screw up. I already got scolded this morning for cleaning out old food from the fridge and washing dishes in the sink.

I feel a lot better since I got to wash my hair yesterday too But who would have thought that washing and blowing my hair dry would exhaust me? I listened to my body and rested the afternoon away. (bor-ing!) I am literally *terrified* that any little thing could reactive the Lyme and I have come to far to relapse.

I heard that the weather was perfect yesterday. I thought about going outside to sit for a while bit all of the chairs are either dirty or put away. Just as well that I didn't since I am pretty darn sure that I would have gotten up, wandered around, picked up a stick and thrown it into the woods, then did that again (and again!)
What do you think? Agree or disagree? :pound:

Cait brought the rats downstairs to visit me a bit, I missed those cute little faces so much. It was tough trying to keep them from running on my pilows and when I woke up this morning my eyes were itching me.

Today is going to be dull, but I am working on my food shopping list to do online again. I want to spend some time in the Gallery. And I hope that I am able to get all of the end of the month/new month stuff ready for the CT.
I am itching to scrap. Really bad! I told Gary I was going to spend some time at my desk but he talked me out of it, said that who knows what the Dr will say tomorrow or if I will get my stitches out. Don't screw it up by being silly today.

A smart man who has been through this before with me. *winks*

I am going to get going now, again I apologize for no personals, but know that I am reading the posts and you are all in my heart as I do. xoxo

We did get the snow, probably two inches or so. Still snowing now but by Tuesday it should go away. Yesterday we got delivery of the new jigsaw puzzles we ordered. That will be fun! I've recently been doing an annual order for new ones as the senior center only gets so many new ones for us to borrow.

Chris, you know you should still be keeping a low profile until cleared by the doc. Obviously yesterday you were doing too much. Gary may need to get tough to get you to STOP! As you said, you've come too far to mess it up now. I don't care if you're bored - it's better than making it worse. My week in the hospital last month was sure boring and I was so glad to come home, but when I got here I was barely functional at first, so began to appreciate just laying there recuperating, at least since I could read.

Felis, sorry for your grumpiness. I have not followed the story that has you upset but have read your comments. As you say things have two sides and perhaps there is a conflict of cultures as well. As we tell Chris, better not to get obsessive about following all the details. Hope things improve.

Rae, it is wonderful to see you so much less stressed. Good wishes for B's placement.

Kay, also good to hear you had a better day and got so many errands done.

Trudy, I know you have had a busy weekend and find it hard to imagine the need to cut grass when my DH was just out sweeping snow off the front steps.

A snowy greeting to all! :smow:

good day! Yesterday was gorgeous and I walked over 9700 steps - over 3 miles for me. And my knee held up really well. Well I attended my last Devils home game. The team played amazing well against the Blues but lost in the last 3 seconds of OT. Got home and smelled fire and thought it was just a fire pit in the neighborhood but turns out there is a huge fire in the Jersey Pine Barrens. We even got a notice from the town saying it was possible we would smell the smoke. It was fan appreciation game and based on all that happened all I could see was a lot of disappointed fans and not because of the loss. This is going to be a rant so for those that don't like hockey or sports just go past this. So the Devils gave season ticket holders several options for continuing to support the team. I selected an extra team meeting experience. So on Wed they decided to have the event at a location to which there is no mass transit and I could not drive that far. So I had to miss it. They said it was just for photos but then decided to do autographs. You know me I love these things. But the worst part is that I know for a fact that they let in non season ticket holders. So what good is it to be a STH if they let in anyone. So Saturday night for fan appreciation night of the 10,000+ fans only 20+ who got the jerseys from the players after the game were the only ones who got anything. People in one row were give hats. REALLY! M&Ms gave away a Nascar bundle (which I would not want), one company gave away a Devils ATV (again what would I do with that in the suburbs), one row got free ice cream, and one person got a gift bag. Again what percentage of fans were appreciated. The Devils had a 40% off sale but of course not on jerseys or autographed stuff. But that is not the worst. There were signs only set up in some areas so a lot of fans missed out on sticks and pucks. I know venting to you does not good so I may have to go outside my comfort zone and send an email with my concerns. I hate confrontations even in email. LOL. I will still be a Devils fan! My son and DIL and her brother say this is the last year they want to be season ticket holders. That is a bummer for me. Turns out they looked on stub hub and found their seats were selling for just 6 dollars. So why should they pay thousands. OK enough.

Chris glad that you were on your feet and today you are ok. But resting is good too. It is raining here today. But then comes cold so bummed. Should be warmer in the middle of the week. Glad you got to see the rats! Did you see the photos of the fire. Very scary and very sad. I guess the rain will help put out the fire.

Trudy sorry about the Bruin game. Thanks for thoughts on hubby! He is ready though to be done with the tooth pain. They think the implants will help.

Rae you morning sounded wonderful. Have fun with Jen. My girlfriend really liked the Passage. Enjoy the binge.

Kay wow you got so much accomplished! I am impressed. Enjoy the day reading!

Felis I watched the video. I can understand your frustration. My country does not even talk about going dark for an hour anymore. It is a shame my country's leaders do not believe in climate change.

Have a great day all!

Hi, gals... we are back into WINTER temps again.... only 40 degrees and with the wind - it feels like 30!!! Today was casual Sunday at church and many were in pants/jeans with heavy sweaters, etc. I worn jeans and heavy sweatshirt plus my padded jacket and still was cold even inside. Think I need to put my long-johns on as the legs are still chilled. We also had a potluck after church so was nice to sit and visit while enjoying all the good food. I was really bummed... during church I turned to the verse in my brand new Bible only to discover that those 2 pages are missing!!! So will be returning it tomorrow and hope to get a replacement for it. Will be checking it out to make that those pages are not missing from the replacement. Glad I discovered it right away.

Guess I am paying the price for all my running around the pass couple of days ... woke up this morning tired and achy with the feet letting me know they are not happy right now. Think I will dig out my feet massage/warmer and see if that will help. When they get like this, I usually have to sit with the elevated and covered up - plus take some pain meds. This reminds of when we lived in Corpus Christi and I could barely walk due to DJD/arthritis in the feet and legs. That is why we moved to the NM and the drier climate.

Been cuddled up under my fluffy throw most of the afternoon. Turned on the TV to watch the weather news to announcement that we are under a winter storm warning. Already snowing in the mountains around us and to the west of town. The rain we are having now has some snow flakes mixed in with it. Think it is time to put the pajamas along with fluffy bed-socks on and head to bed. The feet are still really sore and achy. Hope tomorrow is warmer and no rain or snow.

Aww Nancy, that's really awful! I hope you wrote this email. There is nothing wrong in confrontation as long as you have facts. It's really pits to treat their fans like that. I mean they want to be nice whit all, but as you said then what good is it to be a STH?!
You can be a god at what you do, but without fan base to support you will stay just mister nobody. It's similar for singers, actors or sports team!
Sorry for your family disappointment, but actually I think your boys are right in this case! Curious do your email will receive answer and what?! Please share it with us!
