Hello O's!!!

I'm up extra early on this beautiful Saturday so I thought Id get the O's started! Also because who knows when Ill have another free second in the next 8 hours!!
How is everyone doing? Hope you are all well. we are supposed to have wonderful weather here today and I am hoping we do because the last couple of rainy days were tough on Nico staying indoors! What a nightmare...this guy wants to go go go!! We are still dealing with teething issues, he's got 3 molars coming all at once, they are all partially broken thru...so our nights have been awful! Why is it the teeth come at night mostly?

A friend is having a tag sale today, I may stop by just to say hello, have ot run to the bank and then its outside play time. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! :D:D:D
 
Good Saturday Morning:p

I wish I could sleep....now that I have no kids, and no reason to get up on Sat morning....I almost never am able to sleep in! Life...go figure....I am not too sure what is on the horizon for us today...DH is still sleeping, and he did not mention any specifics for today...tonight we are taking my oldest DH out for her birthday...she will be 26 Monday...wow..did I just say my daughter will be 26??!! She wants to go to the Olive Garden....longest wait in town...DH HATES to wait when we go out to eat...Well...the coffee is done...so I am going to drink a POT!! I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend...(we know ME is....ENVY...)!!

Hi Kelly...poor Nico and his teeth...I am not sure why it has to work out that way...but seems like it always does....if you have some...rub benedryl on his gums...I did with my girls and it worked well...it has a numbing effect and it gets just a touch in their system to help them sleep a little. I don't know what docs say about it now...but they reccomended when my girls were babies....Hope he feels better soon {{{HUGS}}}
 
Good morning/afternoon/night my lovelies!
I am feeling better today then yesterday. Still not great but better. I started herxing yesterday afternoon. Hit me like a freaking boulder! I started a new abx on Tues, so it fits in perfectly.
As much as herxing sucks, it is always nice to know that the meds are doing something.

Kelly- It is supposed to get nice here too- it has been a horrible spring for the East Coast. Poor Nico- molars are tough. Have you tried Hylands teething Tablets? They have them at most pharmacies and health food stores. i used them on my guys and it seemed to help a lot.

My Ooo's form yesterday-

Dawn- LOL -- you were just saying how Amanda has a hard time cleaning, right? Cooking too?
Next time, I'll send Caitlyn over. Se is a terrible cleanier, but a great cook!

Sandra- yay for summer vaca!! So good that Will wants to do the work- and IMHO- it does make a difference whent hey go back to school in the fall.

Sara- LOL- I learned more about bugs and snakes and reptiles than I ever though I could when Scott went through that obsession phase! And Yu Gi Oh...(ugh).
Sara- I never heard of him... he is good?
I am really getting into "The Other Queen" -- very ummm, what is the right word....???? suspicious, suspenseful?? Spying? I can't think of the word I want. But lots of all that and more :lol:

I think you should post here more if you are not feeling good. You know that someone is always around to give a big hug! Or to make you laugh.

Linda- sorry that you had to take a Xanax, but they can be a great help when you need them. ITA-- I swear, just reading Sally's days makes me poop out! *waving hi to Carla who is nodding in agreement*
I am one of those people who "absorbs" the energy around me (KWIM?) so I hear ya- that is why I looooove this place. The energy is wonderful, everyone is caring and supposrtive and NO Drama!! I am so glad you are here too. I love starting my day with my O-Fam. :)

Merkee- it is always so nice to see your face in the Ooo's!

Dawn- hugs to you too!!!

Happy Saturday morning LovelyOs! We are off to a beautiful start here!
DH and I went and had Mexican last night and I polished off a 1/2 pitcher of margaritas ::yummy:: last night....headache this morning LOL. Not too bad though :). Worst thing was at work we ate all day on goodies everyone brought so I still feel full LOL, why do I do that to myself?! hehehe

Kelly-poor little Nico! I think it seems like teeth bother them more at night because they are trying to sleep and aren't up running around. I agree with LindaW and Chris try one of those remedies. I hope the weather's good and y'all can get out and play today :).

Linda-Happy B-Day to your DD! Yummy Olive Garden, yucky wait, the one here always has a long wait, that just means it's good, I guess :). My DH doesn't like to wait either, he expects instant gratification LOL. Enjoy your day and evening sweetie!

Chris-I'm glad you are feeling some better! Isn't that the way of it though, the cure always has to have a little curse with it, hope it levels out and your body gets used to it. How long do you have to be on it?

Linda - Isn't it nice when you have a day that's "unscheduled"? I hope you enjoy it. And Olive Garden...mmmmmm.....I don't usually mind waiting for them. Zuppa Tuscana, salad, breadsticks, and peach sangria....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Morning Chris - I'm sorry you're herxing. I hope that you can make it through the next couple of days and things settle down. The Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a young adult book about a teen who finds out he's half god. He's the son of the Posiedon and there are demigods all over the world. New York is Olympus and all the Greek monsters really exist. I love mythology, so this was a good series for me. This is the last one (no. 5), so I'm anxious to finish. I tried to finish last night, but I got too sleepy. =)

Dawn - You and I would have a blast together I believe. That sounds like a pretty good time to me...margaritas and a ton of food. =)

I need to straighten up the house. Yesterday I ran all over the town with Ben getting the old car papwork finished up and plates, etc. for the new car. Then we went to the park with a friend and her kids, and then played here for a little bit. I was pooped, so we just got take out Chinese. It was good though.

I also have a slideshow to finish for my aunt, but I need her help. She (well her husband actually) gave me probably 600-650 pics on the CD. I've got it down to about 575, but that's still 29 - 38 min depending on if you do 3 or 4 seconds a pic. I think she should cut it down, but I don't know who's who or what's what. So she needs to spend some time on it before I can finish it.

O.k. Well, I'm off to have some coffee and clean up a little. =) Have a great day ladies!
 
Good morning ladies!! It is way too early for me and I would much prefer to be sleeping. Ugh!! DH ran off this morning to can aspargus with a bunch of his coworkers. I might go over in awhile with the kidlets. They have some property and neighbors with llamas and stuff. So we'll go get some fruit or carrots or whatever it is that the animals like. I'll have to call and find out and get my camera ready for some pics.

Tomorrow is th ebig taco feed. I really hope it goes well and we raise lots of money. We spent much more on the supplies than we expected which sucks because we need more people to show up to raise money. So say a prayer or wish us luck.

Well, I need to check and see if the Farmer's Market is open so I need to hurry up.

Chris - I hope you start feeling better. I hope your feeling yucky is a sign that the antibiotics are really helping. I'll pray for you. Weren't those teething tablets the best?? I was telling Kelly about them too. They rock.

Kelly - Poor little Nico. No matter what you do it will just suck. I would always give my kids ibuprofen right before bed because it lasts longer than tylenol and I think it helps more than tylenol because it takes away the swelling. It stinks because all kids are different. Try most anything that makes sense that people suggest in hopes that you find something that works. Enjoy your beautiful day. Our days are starting to get yucky after lots of sunshine.

Linda - Happy birthday to dd!! My dh hates waiting too and seems to think I just love to sit and wait and will ditch me in two seconds. I have learned to keep ahold of him so that I don't have to sit waiting all by myself like I just love to wait. Boys are such brats sometimes aren't they? Enjoy Olive Garden. That is too bad you can't sleep in. I can always sleep in if given the opportunity...I just rarely get the opportunity.

Dawn - Mexican food sounds super yummy. I want some. Oh, I'll get tacos tomorrow. I hope that will satisfy my craving. :) Oh, and I love me some margaritas although I have been on a margarita break for a bit. mango is definately my favorite when they have flavors available.

Sara - sounds like a busy but nice day yesterday. That slide show sounds like a lot of work. That is really cool of you to do that for your aunt. I hope she is helpful when trying to get it cut down in time.

Well, I am off. I am waiting for my cold medicine and allergy meds to kick. Soon, I hope. I think my face may very well explode today. Blah. Have a great day everyone!!
 
good evening, everyone! We went out this morning and got some summer reading for Will... and he bought 3 books at B&N for reading too... I could have lived without his temper tantrum - I'm at my wit's end... I just don't know what to do with him and he listens to nothing when he gets like that...

anyway, needless to say we couldn't go anywhere else... so we came home... and of course he's been an angel ever since.. *sigh* so we're hanging out at home... tomorrow we're going to work around the house, cleaning, getting rid of some old toys that kinda thing... get everything neat and orderly so we can start with some summer school work on Monday...

alright, I'm off... I wanna play on the computer for a bit before Gabe gets home with the pizza! hope everyone is having a great weekend!
 
Hi everyone! Hope you all had a nice Saturday.
We went to my brother's for his b-day but we only lasted a couple of hours. Gary has had this cold/flu for a couple of weeks now and can't kick it. He started to feel crappy, so we ended up leaving early. As usual. I hate it. I wish that being sick didn't rule our lives so much.

Clara- good luck with your Taco feed!

Sandra- I hear ya- we are getting 13 yo "tantrums" and there is just no getting through.

Sara- the book sounds good!

It's extremely frustrating... he was an angel all day on Friday... until bedtime... then it was like he morphed into the devil (LOL figuratively speaking of course)... same thing with B&N yesterday... was an angel all day, even in the library, then one thing doesn't go his way and we're back to the nightmarish tantrums then again at bedtime... its ridiculous!
