Good morning ladies. I went to bed at 7 last night. And slept until 6:19. I guess that's what I get for working in the middle of the night several times last week.

I feel completely discombobulated...if that's a word...because I've been out of my Daily O routine. I need to go back and catch up. So that is on the agenda today, along with indoor soccer game for Syd, last basketball game for Shaun, taking Dad grocery shopping...and while I'm at it, I may do a little for me too! Tomorrow Syd has a basketball game. And that is all for my weekend. (Oh and a couple more reviews to get done for work.)

However (and here comes my obnoxious post), I will be leaving for Maui in 18 days...and only 12 of those are work days!

lOve the O!
Linda- enjoy your weekend and sigh- your upcoming vacation. I am off to dance practice and perhaps stopping to buy a new hairdryer- mine is operating on multiple speeds - I am so afraid it will die and I will have to go to work with wet hair- which I am sure is a violation. With all the changes at work, I had a dream that my boss was following me around telling me everything I was doing was wrong. Maybe because my baby doll that I use for training ($75- 15 years ago) came into question as cannot be used, until I said- the pt do not touch it, it is for me to teach the parent when the kid gets cranky- now she can stay. Okay off to a windy day!

Morning all... Woke up at 5:30am on my day off, but went to bed around 10:30 last night so had a pretty good sleep!! Poor MG now has my bad cold  and you know that it will be 10 times worse than mine was  Ahhh, the MAN COLD!! Well he is going to have to take care of himself for a bit as I am picking up my sister and heading up to my other sister's for a her granddaughters 1st birthday party. Wow I can't believe that Isabella will be 1 already!! I am so envious of my sisters, because they get to see their grandkids all the time! Oh well I hope to Facetime with mine this weekend.

LindaS - Wow you had a great sleep, but then I guess you really needed it didn't you!! Hope that you are taking something to keep the cold bugs away, that's when my cold hit me, right when I was worn out from working all weekend at inventory time. You have a busy day today, but hopefully you get to have some scrap time today too! So happy for you that your vacation is fast approaching !!

Laurie - Oh no not you too!! Nightmares about your boss!! :fear: Hope your boss does not bother you anymore! I bet you are awesome at what you do! Such a rewarding job, helping out all those kids and parents too!

To everyone else that pops in here today, I hope that your weekend is filled with fun things to do!!

Linda S!! What a great night's sleep for you! I am so happy that you were able to catch up on it, at least a little bit of it. I have been really out of the O-lOop too, and I hope that I can catch up on a lot of that stuff this weekend.
18 days!! So excited for you!!!!!

Laurie- I'd agree- time for a new hair dryer. This is not the time of year that you want it to die on you. Too cold! Why would they say a doll is not "acceptable" or within reg's to use with clients? Not child-proofed properly? So weird that it is ok for you to use it only. But WTH do I know? LOL
Enjoy your weekend too!

Aside from being really achy I guess I am holding up ok. Yesterday morning was rough, but it seemed to get better as the day went on. I am hoping for a "puttering" weekend here. I miss scrapping in the worst way, I have been in that non-creative rut something awful.

Off for some coffee and will be back to catch up soon!

*waves to Trudy* we posted at the same time!

Bwuahahahah! That cracks me up every time, the man cold. :pound: 100 truth!!!
I saw a headline on some website about "Two Men Get to Experience Contractions" or something like that. Can you imagine??? They will be freaking out! And IMHO- if men had to go through that, worlds population-- PLUMMET!!!
Of course there would also be 5 days a month of sick days from the job, pads would be "the bigger the better" and entire pregnancies would be medical leave.
Sounds like a good deal in some ways, eh?

Have a great time with your sister and Facetime with your grandkids!!!

From Friday:

Laurie- heheh! No Friday the 13th, but at least you got the Friday part right!
Your highlights sound gorgeous, do you have a pic yet?
Personally, I am glad that the "Ombre" look is becoming popular in hair color. I am hoping that my 3' roots will be now considered fashionable. :D

Trudy- what a jerk your boss is. Breathing huge sighs of relief for you that he is gone!

Donna- hmmm, I wouldn't know about the "feeling good after exercise" part, since I guess you have to exercise first to feel it?
In a few weeks, I bet the gym will empty out quiet a bit. Enjoy your warm weather- its been so cold here in NJ- 22* for a high yesterday. But sunny, so I;'ll take that part.

Oh no Nana, its bad enough when my cat messes up my keybd, I cannot imagine what I would do if they put it into Japanese! I am literally lughing out loud and shaking my head. What did the tech say when you explained? Was s/he laughing too?

Hope that the kids are nice and mellow for you this weekend. And how is your mom feeling? Any better??

Nancy- did you ever see the play Les Mis? Its in my BFF's top 5 and she liked the movie a lot even though it is not on the same caliber as the play. Which, for her, is a fantastic review.

Phyllis- its the little things (bleach and ammonia) that are very very very important to remember. hahahaha!!!
Ahhhhhh-- contractors!!!! :fish: Most annoying people on earth. (not really but it seems like it when trying to deal with them) Did he ever show up?

Jen!!!!!!!!!!! How are you and the kids and the new baby doing?????

Terry- if you see this, I hope you are having a good weekend away and have a great visit. good news that your dh's back is getting better but ugh that his snoring isn't.

hugs to all of the O-Fam!!

Ahhh, the MAN COLD!!
snort....perfect, and my Laugh of the Day! thanks, Trudy!

Linda, i am SOOOO jealous of your sleep!! that's like two nights' worth!! you must be feeling energized.

Laurie, a broken hairdryer is the stuff that nightmares are made of. you know, like dreaming about going to school naked or forgetting your locker combination in high school!!

Chris, hope you get to putter. painlessly.

i have some dinner guests coming tonight, so i'm doing the requisite house-cleaning and prep work. happily Hubby is out at the library for a few hours, so out from under my feet. which is always helpful. the husband of our friend is a political junkie (and not on MY side of the aisle) and insists on bringing politics into everything. so i warned my husband that at some point early on, i'm going to tell this ass that it's a politics-free zone in my house tonight. honestly. you could be eating soup and he'd find a way to bring politics into the experience. those sorts of people are bores.

hope your weekend is Merry. do something you love.

We left town for the weekend yesterday to visit my son and his family. Got to the RV park about 5, set up the motorhome and cooked a quick dinner. Actually we had PF Chang's frozen dinner. They are really good and perfect for when we are traveling and I don't feel like cooking.

Went to my son's basketball game last night. He is the varsity basketball coach. What a close game. Now this kid was very demonstrative when he was in high school playing football. It always surprises me to see him coaching from the sidelines and is pretty cool and collected. Then the team started playing bad and then he threw the towel down on the chair. yep, that high school stuff came out. His team won by three. The best part of last night was seeing my little grand daughter who is 3. It's nice now because she remembers us and came running with arms open wide yelling "grandma!" just melts my heart! Trudy I'm with you. Wish I lived closer to my grand kids.

Just finished breakfast. The man is cleaning up. Time to put some make up on and then head to the outlet mall. Hoping my son lets us take our grand daughter for the afternoon. They hardly ever let her out of their sight--they are weird like that. Guess they figure we don't know how to handle a three year old. I mean, we only raised five of them!

Laurie- not good having nightmares about the boss! Yep, sounds like it is time for a new hair dryer.

Linda-sounds like you really needed the rest. You are going to have a sports filled weekend. I've never heard of indoor soccer until I joined the O family. Maybe because we live in a warm climate. You will have a blast on your trip. We still have a couple of months before we go to Hawaii.

Chris- hope you are feeling better. Sit down and relax a bit this weekend. Maybe you will find a little mojo.

Have a great Saturday! Do something fun!

Oh so the doll- it is fabric- we can't have anything fabric- so as long as I am the only one to touch it, then it is hopefully not a problem. I have a plastic doll that the kiddos can have and we just sanitize and rinse and return to play!

Trudy.............mine has what I had too....I swear...I would rather have me, all the kids and the neighbors all sick at once than dealing with my WHINNING..SNIFFLING, BRATTY HUSBAND...............WHAT AN OVERGROWN CHILD HE IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris....the lady saw no humor in my situation....wth? what kind of customer service is that? :hurt: Thanks for asking about Mom....she "WAS" better...but now she is sick again....not like before...but I believe this is probably how it's going to be from now on...on then off.... Laurie....I haven't worked in 11 years...I STILL HAVE NIGHTMARES ABOUT MY BOSS!! :( I am glad you can keep your doll!!

Phylis.......:hurt: I hear you about the politics!!!! I hate to see the level of frustrations rise in a room when that subject comes up!!! I don't try to force my opinions...I have them, I might say them out loud occasionally, but don't really wish to have a big discussion!!

Terry....sounds like a nice weekend get away!! Have fun shopping today

Well.....I was out most of the morning...doing the SOCCER MOM stuff again...now it's time to CLEAN MY HOUSE!!! It looks like a hurricane, tornado and earthquake hit in here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most of this week I was on strike from cleaning.....I really do get SICK AND FREAKING TIRED of being the "maid"................. I had a mini meltdown as soon as I got home today....Cameran is here (imagine that) and I stopped and picked up a pizza for lunch....Jesse ate a piece and went to his room...Jaiden wasn't hungry and went downstairs to watch tv...Cameran was at the table...Mike is on the sofa doing NOTHING......they all start hollering "NANA" from three different directions...needing something or another...................WTH IS THAT??? I told them that if they didn't learn to do for themselves a bit more, or holler "PAWPAW" once in a while, I was packing my stuff and leaving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am too old for this S*&^!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not to mention I did it before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay...my  is over!! :becky:

Good Sunday Morning ladies!! Slow moving around here this morning....Everyone is just now starting to roll out of bed....Bug was up around 8 but watched TV in her room for a while...until she emerged as her usual "princess" self....she was in her dress, tiara and shoes...ready for the ball...which meant breakfast!!!

I woke up with an awful headache...took a handful of ibuprofen...it's gone now.

I have a page in mind...well a subject matter....so I am hoping I can get it down today...it's more of a HOW LIFE IS GOING NOW type thing...I have seen some very positive changes lately and I want to write it down.

I did not get much done yesterday....I did clean out the kids rooms....they can walk in there again...the living room.....but the rest of the house is still in shambles...I will try to work on that....TRY being the word to pay attention to here :becky: ..... This afternoon it's off to Cameran's Soccer game....

happy Sunday everyone :)

I don't know where the morning has gone, been awake for a while but have been trolling throug the interwebs a bit. Makes me lose a bit of faith in humanity on occasion but this place always restores it.

My feet are so cold but I am too lazy to get some slippers on. I have to get some housework done, but I really want to scrap. Do I say that every day? I think I do. I did work on one page yesterday but there are soooo many new goodies in the o-shop that I want to play with. The scrap-rut in now making me paranoid that it is never going to go away :p

Did you survive dinner, Phyllis? I am one of those people who could also turn a bowl of soup into something political, but over the last few years I have learned that it is often best to keep my mouth shut and only rant while at the dinner table with just my immediate family.
I am cooking full roast chicken, potatoes and stuffing for dinner tonight. I am actually kind of lookign fwd to cooking, but am very happy that there will be no company -- so no cleaning LOL

Terry- what a neat experience to see you son now and remember how he was in the same situation as a kid. I can't imagine how awesome it must feel to hear "Grandma!" (not planning on imagining it for many years too!!). I feel like that when my nephew comes and hugs me.It makes me appreciate how my mom and MIL tell me that they truly miss my kids when they don't see them that much.

Ahhh, that makes sense Laurie about the doll being fabric and non-disinfect-able.

Nana- if I was the CS person helping you, I would have been LMAO!!! Oh no about your mom. Is she taking it easy or being like you? Give her a hug from me.
you deserve more than a meltdown, if you ask me. I don't think I would last a minute in your shoes. You are Super Nana!!!

Have fun today laurie!

Happy Sunday ladies!! Hubby is still snoring and milking the man cold for all that its worth. When asked how he was feeling last night, he says... A bit better, but I'm way sicker than you were when you had this!! I just rolled my eyes at him and told him to go to bed!! What a baby!! :hand:

Nana Linda - How cute that your Bug loves to dress like a princess!! My sister Wendy was like that when we were growing up, always dressed up in a dress. Wish my Sadie was a girly, girl, but she can't stand to wear clothes at all LOL always running around in just her under ware . :becky: Good luck with your cleaning, but your idea for a new layout sounds way more fun!!

Chris - I am in the same rut with scrapping, lots of ideas in my head but when it comes to getting them done I just stare at the blank page on my computer??? Hopefully something will click today for both you and I!! Enjoy your sunday dinner its sounds delicious!!! I might have the same here if hubby feels better today. I don't want to do all that cooking just for me.

Planning on doing a lot of nothing today, except for taking a nice long walk, hope the weather cooperates with me!! TTYL
