Good morning! A quick opening from me today. We have bought a new house and we are moving on Friday...and no I'm not packed, and yes I'm working today and tomorrow. That smiley is hysterical ROFL in case you didn't recognize the hysterical part!

Phylis, I LOVE that necklace. Hubby did well! Very unique!

Donna, glad that you are getting relief from the heat.

Chris, hope that since you aren't making money anyway, you are at least getting some me time.

Kristi, good luck on that first morning of school routine.

Linda---wow! Jesse off to Kindergarten huh? So will everyone be in school or preschool at least part of the time? Hope so...maybe you can re-capture some me time.

Trudy, how crazy is that about the full time hours? Is the boss trying to make sure that no one is available to work there? Good luck on the job search.

To everyone else...good morning and ((hugs)). It is hump day!

Hello Sweetie! *said in my best River Song voice*

Have you ever watched so many movies/TV shows with people with strong accents that your voice in your head takes on that accent? That is happening to me with Dr. Who. I'll get the random Who-isms pop into my head.
:mod: <~ "Fezes are coool."

Oh Linda, is YMG home at least to help you pack??? Kids and other assorted slave labor???
I can definitely hear the hysteria all the way here in NJ! Keep breathing and think of how much better you will feel on Saturday. ummm, maybe that is not a good thought.... how about this.... :cosmo: now that is a good thought.

I had 3 crazy dream/anxiety attacks last night. The weirdest dream was that Gary and I got re-married. We were out driving around, and he bought me a new wedding ring- for $200. So I am not sure tif he was thinking that I deserved less 20 years later than the first time around.
Then we went to some wedding chapel/banquet hall type thing and he said that he liked being married and wanted to do it all over again.
Now before you all "awwwwwww" he was totally *not* into it in my dream. He left my $200 new ring on a table then walked away. I had to grab it while thinking to myself, how are we going to pay for this new wedding?? That woke me up stressing about money.
Next silly one was driving through the projects to get to my cousins' house where we compared new tattoos, which is so bizarre b/c my cousins' are very straitlaced and as far as I know, never had any tattoos. And I haven't had anything new done in 7-8 years.

Not much else here, working today thank goodness!!! Maybe beach later by myself and a book :D

WWW
I wish I could help Linda pack or at least pour her a :cosmo: when she is done.
I wish Lyme didn't affect the brain and personality so badly *cough Gary cough*
I want to get a good night's sleep tonight!

So Chris...........................................are you wanting a new tattoo that costs $200?? :becky:

:hurt:

Sorry....I am not making fun of your dreams (well.....maybe just a teensy weency bit :biggrin1:.....but only because I have such crazy ones too)

LindaS......................YES YES YES....for the first time in three years...I will have ALL DAY WITH NO KIDS!!! With S. being in daycare...Jaiden is in the Full Day PreK class at Jesse's school....so from 7-2:30....just me and Mike...now if I can just get him back to work :heh: GOOD LUCK with the packing and moving..how exciting...I would love a new house...but not sure if I would do it...just because I don't ever want to pack it all up!!

Sharon took off work today and she and I are taking all four kids to the water park...I have enough passes on that pass I bought on the tv stations deal (like a group on deal..but through one of our local stations).

HAVE A GREAT DAY LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

well, you two just got my heart rate up! Linda, NOW i know why you're packing!! good luck with all that. i think it'll all be worth it because you get to go into a new space. i would really LOVE to be in that position!! wish i could come over with Chris and help out. i'm REALLY good at getting lots of stuff into small spaces, like cars and boxes!

Chris. hit the beach today, kiddo. absolutely. sounds like a day to take some of what's yours.

i have a giant mountain of ironing to climb today. i'd better line up my videos to be playing during the task so i can "be somewhere else" as i do all that ironing. it's WAAAY more than an "enjoyable" pile of laundry, so i need diversion. i watched the entire Season 10 of "MI-5" ("Spooks" in Europe) last night. pretty bleak and depressing, but at least now i know how it all ends. i think something cheerier might be in order for the tasks today. hmmmm. dunno whether i actually HAVE any cheery movies or vids.

hope everyone has something nicer to do than laundry today! have a great Wednesday!

From yesterday:

Hi donna- I am so happy to hear your temps are coming down. That must be such a relief!
Me Time, what's that?? LOL

Phyllis- I cleaned out a cabinet under my kitchen island the other day- not that anyone would notice but I organized and folded all of the plastic bags under there. My kitchen is really tiny and I only have a few cabinets and 1 drawer, so things kind of get shoved where there is a small bit of room. It did feel (kinda, sorta) good to get that done, even as I was cursing up a storm doing it.
Good man!!!! Your necklace is awesome! It looks like it should be in a museum!!! Def. wear it while vacuuming, you know those sexy vacuums appreciate it!! (Personally, I stick with pearls, but to each his own :pound:)

Kristy how did the girls do at school? What did you do while they were gone?

Nana- that is so awesome that Jesse is getting all ready for Kdg! Do you have full day Kdg? Does that mean you will actually have some down time during the week? I hope so, I know after this summer, you need it.

Trudy- I am with you-- I am still waiting for summer to start!!!!
That seriously bites about work. That mgr is going to be sorry when you are gone and he has to fill 2 new positions. Goo dluck wioth finding something perfect for you! You deserve the best.

Dd leaves on Saturday? ((((((((((hugs you tight)))))))))) Can't imagine how sad you will be, but DON"T think about that now. Sorry for making you think about it already :(

Goota go get my pookie awake since she is workign with me today. Have a FAB day!! MUUUUAAAH!!!

Nana I wasn't going to say this part b/c I figured it would make everyone's dream analysis go crazy but when you wrote this:
So Chris........................
...................ar e you wanting a new tattoo that costs $200?? :becky:
I have to add the crazy part.
My cousins were telling me that the stupidest tattoo that I had done was the wedding ring on my finger. Now, IRL-- I don't have a tattoo of a wedding ring, nor would I ever get one. But how funny is that connection! LOL
And please, make fun of me all you want, that is why I share them because they are so dang ridiculous!!!

Wow! You've all got a lot going on! I've decided to take a hiatus from designing - having too much fun playing here! My boys are visiting a friend this morning, working on "their band". My 11 year old plays guitar (he's had about a year of lessons and can play a few songs). My 8 year old has a drum set. He has not had lessons (yet), but likes to bang on his drums! I guess I should step away from the computer (now that I've bought more stuff from Anna) and get something done while they're away! This time next week we'll be back to homeschooling!

Hey ladies quick fly by for me :plane: went to work for a couple of hours just to do the cash balancing and the deposit for the store. Talked to our boss and he is really going to try to schedule me for my part time hrs again after next week. I threatened to leave and he was all over me saying he really did not want me to go, so I told him part time or nothing :heh: now I think its time to hit him up for a raise :becky: what do you think?

I really do not want to have to look for a new job and I like what I do for the most part, just can't do the standing in one place for 8hrs :mmph: hopefully won't have to anymore after next week!!

Have a great day everyone!!

always chatty at the O!!
Good afternoon Everyone!!

As always...I've been stalking you guys but just haven't gotten to posting in awhile. Things are all coming to a head here in my house. I'm still waiting on a start day for work at the hospital and am hoping to open the coffee stand next week sometime. Maybe Monday but I'm so sure things will actually be together by then. We've started running across problems at this point but answers keep coming as this happens so it is all good. The latest issues are working on electricity and the machine. But both of those things are coming together nicely...and FIL has offered to help pay for a few things which is going to be a HUGE God Send. He has been an awesome sounding board as Derek has been working on things getting the trailer together. If you want to here about progress follow it on FB. http://www.facebook.com/TheCoffeeStandFayetteville
On top of all of this...the kids are coming home on Saturday. I am soooooooooooooo excited. I've missed them the whole time but I've been especially anxious about it the past couple of days.

Chris - That is quite the interesting dream. Re-married, huh? That's kinda funny. It reminds me how badly I want a tattoo. I have decided I can't get one until I've lost the weight I want to lose. I want a big fat one...just not sure what I want yet. Hmmmm,,,

LindaS - Have fun with that move. I hate moving more than anything else. Once we get out of the Army and get settled we will stay in one place and stay there until the end of time since the Army will move us to where we want to go and then we'd have to do our own moving after that.

LindaW - How exciting that you will have your own time. You need to make sure Mike has a Man-Cave that you can send him to so that he gets out from under your feet...send him off to the property or whatever. Hope the water park is a blast.

Phyllis - Cheery os definitely in order. I've been trying to find fun sitcoms on Netflix and have come across Raising Hope and Hot in Cleveland. Both pretty fun and light. Good luck with the ironing. I won't iron. Derek does our ironing and we generally don't buy much that needs it. Good luck with that. Thank goodness for tv to keep you company while you do it. That's how I do the laundry too.

Kristy - You'll get used to the quiet soon enough. I love my alone time. It is so exciting seeing your kids go off to school. Addie starts full day kindergarten this year. She is soooooo excited!!

Cinda - The band sounds so fun...even if it doesn't sound as fun yet. My kids are pretty musical and once Addie starts learning how to play guitar they plan on being like the White Stripes on Piano and Guitar instead of drums. LOL!!

Trudy - Good for you telling your boss what you were or were not willing to do. So many people allow themselves to be bowled over. Hopefully the schedule is better soon.

Alrighty...off for now. Hugs to all!
