Ok...we've made it to Tuesday!:clap2: I'm back to work after a 3 day weekend. This time, it actually felt longer. Of course, I idn't get all of my work done that I brought home...so today may be a long one.

I'll stop in tonight for a gallery run. I'm on track to actually beat my goal on posting...that would be a nice switch!LOL

Trudy....I will very happy to send you some of my hot weather!!! It cooled down for a week, but has been climbing back everyday...suppose to hit 98 again this week!! and the HUMIDITY....but like Miss Chris says...better than that 18 degree and 2 feet of snow we had all winter for sure!!!

Andrea...hope you got to scrap!!! I DID!! YAY!!! It was so quiet here yesterday!! Did you like Shrek 2?? I loved 1 and 2 but did not care for 3 as much...I am wanting to see the last one...it's suppose to be GOOD!

Chris....sounds like PA was a good time since you are wanting to go back!! CAN I GO WITH YOU??? What's in store for you today??? How are you feeling??? Better I hope!!!

LindaS...try not to work to hard today!!! and thanks for all your lovin on my pages!!! You are inspiring me to crank up my love too!!!

Just back to the grind here...all my kiddos return today, so back to CRAZINESS!!!

hot hot hot- the buzz words for today- I have no space left on my hard drive, photos that I want to download- guess a trip to town to replace the hard drive is in order, I have a spot on all my photos not caused by lens- cleaned and switched, still a spot- so need to leave my baby at the camera store- yikes- but really want it for my trip to vermont in August. Guess that is where the "extra" money for working last wed will go. So glad I have 3 more days off, I am not ready to return to work!

Linda S- hope work goes well and you get a lot accomplished!

Nana Linda- great day with the kiddos today!

Happy Tuesday! It is hot here too- 77* already (8am) and going up to 98* I have to get out and tend to my poor neglected plants today. They are so dry. I watered them as soon as I got home yesterday but I think it evaporated before it even hit the dirt.
I went back out at dinner time to pull off the dead leaves and all. But they need a really good soaking.

I am feeling better, bit by bit. Still a lot of pain, but the brain fog/nausea is gone, so that's good. Now it is just dealing with the complete lack of motivation. I have my to-do list and I hope I can stick to it.

Other than that, I am drinking my :tea: and trying to wake my brain up!

I will be back soon for personals.....I missed you all so much!
 
Morning, my darling girlies!! :) hugs to you!! :) I'm in the craft studio just taking it all in this morning!! It's super hot here in Houston and when it's not raining, it's perfect pool weather...unfortunately, my kids seem to like the Wii and Xbox360 more than the pool, so we'll see how it goes.

Today is the last day that we are taking care of my dear friend Megan's kiddos while she and her hubby have been in FLA. My kids have certainly stepped it up and helped a HUGE amount!! (remember her darlings are 1.5 and 5) So it's been a wonderful learning experience of having a baby around and Lillian (my 8yo) has been doing great with her friend constantly at her side. I kept thinking yesterday if Lil hadn't taken the way out she did when she was born, these could have been my kids!! Yikes!! and I never really thought 4 kids was a lot! *sigh* I must be getting old!

Anyway, I hope to put more camera strap covers up in the etsy store today...and I'm thinking about what my next few digi word art packs will be. My CT had some awesome suggestions, so I'll start with those! :)

It's getting hot in heeeeerrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeee Whew it's 98-99 degrees & it's just turned 11am!!! Definitely going to make use of the pool today!

NanaLinda - true.....Chris has a point! At least with the heat we can still go out in the world with our a/c...the snow...we were TRAPPED!!! *lol*

Laurie - Ohhh that's a shame right before you go on vacation too. ((hugs)) Happy shopping for an EHD!!!

Chris - My garden is really not doing too hot this year either. I am going to have to cut all my tiger lillies down now that they bloomed so they will survive for next year. One of my favorite hydrangeas a little pink one ...is wilting...:( We need rain bad....I hope the storms that they are calling for Thurs/Friday actually produce a little rain.

Well we are off to Library Craft time soon and then it's POOL TIME!!! Nick might have a friend over to play so I can just sit in the cool pool! :) YIPEEEE!!!!

Sally - can't wait to see what new straps you come up with and what new digi packs- I need to go buy that hard drive so I can dl your new kit I bought.

I am done mowing lawn, and need to eat, shower and head to town with camera and buy a new EHD

It is finally looking like summer and the forecast is calling for the same for more than a week 8-) We need the warmth to warm up the Lake where MIL and FIL live and where our family reunion will be this August long weekend :thumb:
Laurie... I sure hope your camera does not take as long as mine is taking to get repaired. The camer is ready to pick up, but the lens is still waiting on a part and I really don't want to go all the way to Victoria more than once so I wait...:frusty:
Chris...glad that you are feeling a bit better, hope your plants perk up, it's so stressful on them with the heat!! We have missed you here too :hug:

Evening all - Camera $50 to clean the mirror- and 4 weeks- argh, internet- off and on- again- grr- new EHD- a dinosaur- 1 Terabyte (sounds like a dinosaur does it not!)

I am scrapping tonight!
