I can't sleep...3 AM...ugh!!! I'm sure by 4:30 I'll be exhausted and thinking that an hour will be great...and then when the alarm goes off...oh well!

Thought I should catch up on personals. Phylis, how was the doctor's appointment? I agree...love getting on the scale...NOT!

Trudy, it is now your favorite day! (Although I'm guessing that 3 AM isn't a favorite of yours no matter what the day...am I right?)

Eva...homemade apple pie...yummmmm.

Hi Kristy...don't you hate that when you find out that the one item that you always have on hand...well, you don't have it on hand?

Sally, glad that your side of the house was the winner for the Super Bowl because that was my side of the house as well. Did you have a party with lots of food?

Hello Clara. I say that if Addie has those kind of analytical skills, she should get the Cocoa Puffs. ;-)

So last night, Shaun had his last swim meet of the season and Sydney had a soccer clinic. Shaun's meet started at 6 and his first event was the 16th so thought that I could see that and then race Sydney to soccer. As it turned out, it was not meant to be.

I went straight from work and met Brian and the kids at the pool. They got started late and by 6:30, I had to leave without seeing Shaun swim. (Good thing that I did because he didn't get to swim his first event until 6:45.) Raced back home with Sydney so she could get her soccer ball. Left the keys locked in the house when we rushed out. I went to get our hidden spare key and Brian had it...he lost his house key when we traded cars over the weekend. So Sydney and I walked the 3/4 mile in the dark and snow. Then after the clinic, we walked the other 1/4 mile to my dad's and waited down there for Brian and Shaun to pick us up. What a day.... Probably no wonder that I can't sleep. (There was a beautiful full moon for the walk however.)

Tuesday...tonight we have my nephew's last home high school basketball game. He was the first player in their school history to score 1000 points in his career. That happened a couple of weeks ago. If he gets 7 assists tonight, he will have their school record for assists as well. (If not he has at least two more games to get it.)

Linda- hope you were able to get a little more snoozing in - if not it may be a mainline coffee kind of day! The moon was gorgeous- saw it when I was leaving work.

I left work on time last night and left my computer! I was able to finally mop puppy prints off the floor. Wonder how many "springs & mud" I will go through this year? Today should be another busy day so I am going in early to get stuff done- last time I did this I got nabbed to do an extra patient- grrrrrr.

No tip for Tuesday from me- coffee has not hit yet

Good morning! i just posted ina bunch of other threads in peace and quiet (aka, no Catzilla) But as soon as I opened this thread, who had to come by> ah!

Just going to say a quick hello.

i'll be back when she goes and take a cat-nap.

get it? Cat. nap.

That's what you get when the faery is feeling punchy

Linda! 3 a.m.?? after that "adventure" you had with the cars and keys yesterday (can't believe you had to walk all that way!) hopefully you'll squeeze in a nap at some point! i made it until 4:55 today, but i went to bed at 11-ish, so that's not too bad.

Laurie, an extra patient for coming in early and being responsible? just say NO next time!

Chris, do you have any pages with Catzilla on them? i'd love seeing him!

gonna go buy some furniture today. Two 1,000 pound (not really, but they're heavy...)11-drawer dressers from Restoration Hardware. both exactly the same, so they'll probably look stupid, but no one goes in our bedroom but us, and i will LOVE to finally have dressers that EVERYTHING can fit in.

dr.'s appointment went OK. my total ton-age continues to amaze me.

joyous Tuesday to you all!

Phylis- my boss believes in customer service- patient comes first- I know this- she was actually manning the front desk as one of the secretaries was off. The pt was in same day surgery and it was one of those must be done now things. My boss also knows I work lots at home or come in on weekends to get caught up- so when I do something like have emergency dental work done and only cancel 2 hours instead of 4 so I can see my regular patients (and the company policy is must take a half day off unscheduled leave for this) she says put your full hours on your time sheet- I am salaried so it really doesn't make a big difference. So I guess I can be proud of our integrity in the health care field.

Morning ladies... This full moon must be working its magic on us, as I was also awake at 4:00am this morning yikes!! But I was in bed last night super early so I feel pretty good!

LindaS - yes it is my favorite day! But I do not like getting up this early, not as early as you however, my what a day you had yesterday!! The moon was beautiful last night wasn't it?? It is still shining over the lake this morning, I would love to take a photo, but not sure if it will turn out, oh well I will give it a try. Hope you manage to get a nap in sometime today! Today should not be as stressful for you , you had your fill yesterday right??

Chris - Your Catzilla really loves your attention!! I miss my little buddy, guess I always will! Hope your day is great and that you get to come back here to visit with us sometime today!!

Laurie - Sounds like you are a very dedicated worker! Lucky boss!! Hope you don't get nabbed to do an extra patient today, have a great day at work!

Phylis - :pound: total ton-age!! You kill me!! Glad your appt was ok! Dr. upped my thyroid meds just a bit in hopes that it will help me take off a couple more pounds, I am doubtful!! New dressers, hooray for storage for more clothes!! Have fun shopping!!

 to everyone else, I am sure I will be in and out of here a lot today! Yippee!!!

:yarpirate Shiver me timbers matey! :yarpirate

I'm so happy here ... it's silly.

I know I'm an adult.

I know Neopets are for kids.

I know ... I know ... I know ... but I am crazy right now. DH thinks I've lost it  Today I got a request from the Fountain Fairy. She wanted a pair of Chomby Prehistoric Trousers. Oh, ok ... you're not familiar with Neopets, you say? Oh ... here I thought all was addicted

Anyway ... I got her the trousers ... cost med 21.800 NPs (Neopoints - currency in Neopia). For this she gave me the right to visit the Rainbow Fountain once. You need to know that even getting a request from the Fountain Fairy is so rare, you can't even get it really ... well, aparently you could, but you know what I mean.

So ... what's so special about the fountain you ask? ... At the fountain you can change one of your neopets to what ever color you want. So ... a dream I've had for years came through today! My Gnorbu LasseW is now a pirate. Just look at him how cute he is:

LasseW.jpg

And that at a bargain price. The normal way to get a Neopet to change color is to buy a paint brush and paint them. And the pirate paint brush is 1.500.000 so I guess I made a bargain :)

Yes - I still claim to be an adult :D

Eva-- LOL you are so funny! hey, as i say, whatever floats your boat and makes you happy. ;)

Linda S- what a crummy night and day and experience all that was! Hoping that today was a lot better for you!

laurie- I saw the moonlast night when we were having dinner- it really was gorgeous. i wish i could get pics of it as good as I can see it with my eyes.

Phyllis- i think I have a couple of pages of the Evil One in my gallery. She is pretty cool looking- a very pale calico. But wow, she loves her some attention.
Good health is way more important then weight.

Hi trudy!!

Kristy--how did the dr go?

it went okay...she has Raynauds Disease (phenomenon)
nothing overly serious or anything
Raynaud's (ray-NOHZ) disease is a condition that causes some areas of your body — such as your fingers, toes, the tip of your nose and your ears — to feel numb and cool in response to cold temperatures or stress. In Raynaud's disease, smaller arteries that supply blood to your skin narrow, limiting blood circulation to affected areas.

Women are more likely to have Raynaud's disease. It's also more common in people who live in colder climates.

he did tell me to watch out for any rashes that appear on her hands or feet....or if she has any unexplained pain in her muscles and/or joints which could indicate lupus or Scleroderma he said a third one but i cannot for the life of me remember what that was.....but its unlikely that is the case...there have been a few cases of her complaining of pain...which now i think of was it growing pains? or was it something else?
