I was up early yesterday morning and could see that Chris was logged on so I knew that the Daily O's were in the works. Then I started getting ready for work and I totally forgot to come back in and say good morning. :sad:

Last night was insane. With a 3rd and 4th grader both doing homework, I spent 2 1/2 hours on it. :fear: This could be a very long year. So, if I want me time, I will need to get up at 3:30 am I guess. Ugh... (No, I didn't set the alarm...I too had to pee in the night.:laugh:)

Be back for personals in a bit.
 
bwahahahaha .... peeing in the night is definitely one of our topics lately LOL
Linda, I hope you won't have to spend so much time on homework every evening ...

Back to shool day is next week here. The kids are enjoying their last week of holiday.
 
Well it's 3:22 and I have been sitting on this computer for about 15 minutes now. Anybody ready to party??? WTH??? Its my day off and I can't sleep?? Woke up to a wonderful hot flash and then off to the bathroom and now I'm wide awake and tired of tossing and turning in my bed. I HATE this!!! I also woke up because I'm so mad with my job, so unhappy!! :hurt: Sorry to vent here but I need to vent to someone right?? And you are kind of a captive audience aren't you! LOL. Anyway.... I should make another cup of coffee and open my photoshop and create something at least that should sweeten my mood a bit.

LindaS - You are not alone at 3:00 am, lots of us here are having trouble sleeping at night!! Good luck with helping the kids with homework, I gave up when mine hit high school, my poor brain just couldn't get a handle on it all!!

Marie - Have you come up with a plan to get rid of our bosses yet?? Enjoy having your kids home for one more week, my gosh the summer flies by doesn't it!!

Hopefully I can get back to bed later this morning, then off to get my hair done this afternoon, perhaps that will brighten my mood? :wave:
 
Morning all - may we have terrific Tuesdays- feeling very sleepy and did not get my walk in. Stayed up too late, snacked to much and did not want to wake up. I did however scrap! Off to get ready for work!
 
Hello my deari-O friends! hugs hugs hugs to all of you sleepy pee(ps).

(see what I did there? Pee. We all wake up to pee. So we are pee(ps)......)

You poor things-- to be wide awake like that, and especially from stress! Its not fair!!!! I wish I knew what to say to help all of you, but I don't. But I can send love to all of you and hopes for a stress-free day.

Linda S-- I bet you have been running on stress and adrenaline for so long with the job, the move and now back to school. Hopefully things will settle and th eHW won't be as crazy. That sounds like way to much for that age, but IIRC, it was the same here for my guys. It seems like they get less now, but it could also be that they do theirs during lunch or on the bus even though I would rather they didn't.
Hope that you make it through the day ok.

D- we go back to school next week too. It went too fast (as always).

Trudy- I think I am going to have to get out my :laser: again for your boss. Please try and not let it get to you today so you can enjoy your day off! I hope that you can. Don't let him ruin non-work days too. :(

I did get my hair cut and blonded again (yay me!) but it was a hectic day for me and my hair dresser. She got married last year b/c she needed to be on her fiance's health insurance, but their families wanted them to have a "real" wedding too. Which is in 3 weeks-- why she didn't tell me that she didn't have time being that this was her only day off in weeks, i don;t know. She had us in between getting her flowers picked out and another client at dinner time and I felt sooo bad for her! I kept trying to make her food and she just smiles and says she's fine. Silly! I gave her a $25 tip, so maybe that will help a bit.... :)

working today and was hoping for the lake later but is raining.... Scrap time maybe??
 
Trudy, is your boss trying to give you more hours again? Why don't bosses get it? (I am one by the way but I try really hard to make sure that people don't have to stress about work...and certainly not about their boss. :-) I tell people when they start reporting to me that no one should have to go home thinking that their boss doesn't get it...or why does their boss make them miserable...and if it happens, to come find me because we need to work through the situation.)

Sorry that you woke up so early on a morning when you could have slept in.
 
Chris, all this peeing and hot flashing is YOUR fault, you know??? the power of suggestion! the pee(ps) thing started my day off with a hoot....

Linda, sad to hear about the homework stuff. A teacher once told us parents at Parents' Night that parents should not be involved in helping their kids with homework, because it's supposed to show what the KIDS have learned. yeah. right. just imagine trying to do that.

Trudy. have you been able to find another job?? wouldn't it be SWEET if you could just walk out of there one day?? this 3 a.m. thing has got to STOP with us. i slept in my recliner in the library because it was so HOT upstairs in the bedroom last night, and i think i slept for about an hour. you know what, though? it IS so nice and QUIET at 3 a.m.!!!! nice to be awake in that sort of peace. i actually made a page about that a few years ago!! it's a play on a Frank Sinatra song, One for my Baby and One More for the Road. in the song it says: it's quarter to 3. there's no one in the place except you and me. in my version, there's no one in the place except me...and ME!

Laurie, how come you so often sound like the only sane person in here?? hope you have a lovely day at work and have a chance to get your walk in.

Happy Tuesday! the rain is gone and it's not going to be as HOT as it was yesterday. hope the day is perfect where you are!

Phylis... this layout is amazing!! And you are right its all CHRIS'S fault!!! :rant: This is my absolute favorite smiley BTW!
