Daily O's November 2nd

So, what's new with everyone?? LOL!! Seeing as I'm a bit of a delinquent when it comes to following the O's regularly! Today I'm off work until 4:30, my babysitter's son is having surgery today, so I'm going in for the dinner hour ;) Can't say I mind that too much, I like having quiet mornings at home with just myself and Keisha. She's on Peter's laptop, I'm on mine, no one is screaming ahhhh ;)

Yesterday, I had all 4 girls home for most of the day, with "digestive problems" according to Olivia, which really means, they were tired and didn't want to go to school!! LOL!! :) All good with me, I don't mind having them home. I actually had a productive day yesterday, despite them all being home. I made a big pot of beef stew in the crock pot, cleaned the kitchen, blogged, did a bunch of CT layout posting, some lovin' in the gallery, bought 2 snow suits, had a nap, made Onion Dill Tea Biscuits to go with dinner, blogged a whole lot more :) Yeah a little bit of Vitamin D goes a LONG way :)

Ok, well I guess that's enough rambling for me today ... just waiting for my upload quota to reset so I can upload more layouts!! LOL!! :)

Good morning!!!

Has Chris left on her vacay yet?? or maybe she is having more computer issues....she said it was still acting up sometimes... I hope all is okay too!!!

I have been a LAYOUT UPLOADING FOOL!!! and You ladies are loving them faster than I can upload them for sure....I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! Thank you for your kind words!! :kiss: :hug:

GOOOOOOD DAY you just made me tired Krista!!! Oh I am so happy the girls were not really sick!!! When you said DIGESTIVE...I was thinking OH NO!!! YUM on the beefstew and the biscuits!!!! I did breakfast for dinner last night....Cameran spent the night, cause he doesn't have school today...ELECTION DAY...gotta go vote in a bit!!! But He loved having biscuits, gravy and bacon for dinner!!!
I will have to hop over to our blog and see what you have been blogging about!! :) I stopped reading everyone's blogs when I went on vacation in the summer and stopped posting on my own...I need delegate my time better so I can start doing this again!!

I have Savannah and Cameran for the next three days...Sharon is off to a conference in KY today....won't be back until Thursday evening...and Geoff is down in his back...BAD....he has been to the DR twice now and they can't find anything as of yet...he sees a specialist soon...but he is getting worse...He was determined to NOT "pawn" the kids off on me..but I insisted because he really can't do anything for them he is in such bad shape...Sharon is worried about leaving him....I am considering calling his Mom and see if she will convince him to let her take him to the ER and see if they can get him some relief. the normal muscle relaxers and pain meds are not doing it.

Okay...I am off...I have got to get in the shower and GO VOTE!!!!!!
 
morning all - Yup Chris is on her way here and plans to do disney dinner when they arrive- I was hoping we could get to meet but not this time. I'll be leaving in the morning to go to Alachua where my sister lives. I am scrapping and sunning and taking more photos today! Mr. Gorgeous is golfing- we both absentee voted before we left knowing it was too far to drive to vote today. So - what is everyone else doing today?
 
Our voting was last week ... ;) Thank God that fiasco is over for another 4 years!!

I hate voting day, because California is just super confusing. We have two pairs of props that cancel each other out, there's the whole legalizing pot thing, and the wording to everything is written so no one understands.

Wellllll... my internet still isn't letting me access my site! If I try calling comcast, they'll say it's my computer... when it isn't... and force me to go through all of their computer steps. Hopefully they'll listen when I say it's all of our computers, and I've restarted the modem & router multiple times....

I work this morning, just one report, but that's money! Then hopefully the internet will be working so we can launch Jeff's site. He'll be super upset if it isn't.

Krista -- awww, sounds like a nice day yesterday!!! I hope you have a good day at work :)

Linda -- Awww, I hope your SIL's back gets better -- if the next specialist doesn't help, he should see a neurologist. My mom's uncle had the same issue where no one could help, then he went to a neurologist. Have fun with the little ones!

Laurie -- Have a safe trip to your sister's & home!!! I hope you had a grand time on vacation :)

Good Morning Ladies :wave: Pain killers and muscle relaxers are working and I am able to open my jaw a bit more today Yay!!! Still have to make that appt. for the Dentist to get a guard so I stop clenching at night. It's a great morning the sun is shining and I took some photos for you Linda of the trees around our place, will post soon.

Krista - so nice to see you here again!! We have missed you girl :hug: Your day at home with your girls sounds like heaven!! I miss having my kids with me and then to have stew and biscuits just makes it perfect!! yummmmm :hungry:

Nana Linda - You have been very busy with lots of LO's and they are all so great!! Hope your day with the kids goes well and that your vote counts!!!

Hope you get your hubby's site up and running sometime today, glad that you are feeling better today, my cold lasted just over a week, hubby's did not leave him for almost 2 weeks. But I guess it is that time of year.

Laurie - Too bad that you could not meet up with Chris and family, but sounds like your vacation is going well and that you will have lots to scrap about when you get back home. Enjoy!!!

Good afternoon. I am finally on here again. Been a looooong weekend. I decided to scrap some of our Halloween before posting. I think my new page of Aleyna is my fav so far. She is such a ham for the camera!

So my son kicked a football right at my neck Sunday afternoon (accidentally of course) as I was taking a photo of my dog dressed up in costume. The whole side of my face was super sensitive for 2 days (finally went away). Now my neck just hurts and I have an off and on headache. Being an avid fan of Grey's Anatomy and with my husband working in Neuro of course I have become a bit of a hypochondriac so am woried I might have an aneurism or something. So If this persists I will go in and get a scan. The ball hit me so hard the force pushed me forward.

Other than that it was a very fun weekend. We had a huge party our friends threw and invited everyone in school and scouts. It was held at the local VFW. They did an amazing job. Then we were off to our second adult party. Which of course was lots of fun. Pictures will be up slowly but surely. Sunday we finally carved pumpkins. Better late than never. Then trick or treating with friends and neighbors. We dressed our 2 labs up. I got some great pictures of them!

Yesterday I spent all day studying for my second exam in anatomy and physiology. I was super worried cause stupid me has not been studying at all these past 2 weeks. But it actually did not seem too difficult. Amazingly I retained some information from class! My worst part was remembering muscle insertion and origins. I have 1 week now to memorize 99 muscles and be able to identify them for our lab practical. Silly me this is like the most important part of the course for me. Seeing as how this is what I'll be primarily working with as a PTA.

Well there I have written a book today. I'm not even dressed! I get to have a super lazy day. Sit on the couch and watch Ninja warrior for 2 hours with the munchkins, then scrap all day! I didn't feel too well yesterday so I think I deserve it. So I am off to join the outside world. Told the dd we would go out to the farm and let her ride Domani before he finds a new home. I am hoping the owner brings in the 4 month old filly so I can see her. I am trying to talk dh into letting me buy her but I don't have 6k right now! And in 3 years when I finally have a job she will be selling for 55k. a bit ridiculous! Who knows maybe fortune will smile upon me and I will find a job so I can help pay off these credit cards and then I can get another horse sooner rather than later!

ok I'm of for real now!

ps. does everyone list their facebook pages on here? I'm gonna open up yahoo or aim, which one do you all use most?
 
Swinging by to say hi. I've got C's cold now. He went back to school today, and I am just taking it easy, hoping to nap some. Sinus headache in a big way.

afternoon all - Chris must be on her way- the rain is here- just kidding, hope that her flight arrives without a glitch. I am scrapping away, and waiting for the laundry to dry. Does not look like sun bathing today- I am okay with that. I find I have a difficult time laying still! I think I have a few more CT layouts to do, and lots to upload or hold so that I can upload when I get to my sisters!
 
Happy Voting Day!!

I love voting day. We have some major voting issues in Washington state going on right now. I get to continue voting in Washington because we are in the military. That is pretty cool. Washington is almost completely absentee balloting now, so very few people go in to the polls. A few but not many and the ones that do are electronic after all of the fiasco with our governor's race 6 years ago. Ugh!! We have a couple of issues coming up with putting alcohol in the stores and not in state run liquor stores, taking off sales tax on candy, soda and bottled water that the state added a few months ago, although another initiative will add it back onto water if it is passed. Sneaky polititians. And then the big Senate race...the person who is currently in the position had the Obamas use federal non-campaign money to pump up her race. When they were here someone invaded his airspace and their were 2 sonic booms apparently. I wasn't there so I only heard about it. Anyway, the trip cost the US a lot of money. Just ridiculousness. So, I voted.

This week of school is so far been our best week. I dumped grammar. It was kicking our butt. So, I did some asking around and the general consensus I got was to hold off if it was making school a bad experience for us. I didn't completely drop it. We will have one bad day of school a week when I make Ethan sit down and write a 10 sentence paper each week but I hope that will get better. Throughout the week we will make corrections to it and that is how he will get his grammar done. MUCH better.

Anyway, real quickie personals.

KRISTA!!!!!! I've missed you girl. You were here all the time and then you went into hiding for a minute and I've missed your presence. Big squeezy-eye-popping-Clara hugs for you!!! So glad you've had some good family days. Those are the best.

Aw Clara I love you :) You sounded just like me when I get all upset about how Jerry Brown writes all our props & election info to trick people into thinking the opposite of what they're actually voting about. Being on the border in Portland, we got to hear all about the Patty stuff... ughh!!! That was ridiculous.

Well, the internet stuff is somewhat cleared up. Jeff will be able to launch his site this afternoon! I got paid at work & got a random check in the mail from BlogHer... for a site I had run their ads on two years ago... but then B of A's ATMs aren't accepting checks right now!!!!!!

Technology is against me.
 
Evening lovely-Os! I hope everyone's day was decent. I had a migraine most of it but still managed to go to the gym, WOOT! Went and did my civic duty by voting and even managed to drag DD with me to vote. Other than that a pretty boring day.

I'm off again tomorrow and hopefully my head will be painfree so I can scrap a bit :).
