Morning O family- Happy MeMe Monday

I am trying to avoid getting back into real life- had a great weekend, and now I must get back on track for work. So a typical Monday here for me- hoping the new 52 will be up tonight so I can scrap when I get home. It will be hot today, but I will be inside all day - 8-6 at least, so it won't be so bad for me!

For me- I want to eat healthy today and exercise!

what is everyone else doing??
 
Good morning Laurie. Hope that re-joining the work world goes smoothly. :-)

I got a new phone last Wednesday. It stopped working on Thursday. Took it in on Saturday. They undid the battery and then re-did it. It worked until last night. Now it doesn't work again. Quite a pain!

About to hop in the shower. Then get the kids ready for school. Then off to a busy day of work...followed by gymnastics.

Hate those stupid cell phones Linda....when they are working...great..but once they have a problem, seems it's downhill from there!! Hope they fix it for you.

I got a little cleaning done yesterday but the newlyweds came over at lunchtime yesterday...Jamie and Clint....they stayed all day...so that was it for me...nothing else accomplished!!

SOOOOOO TODAY IS MONDAY.................can I be excited like Sally gets about Mondays??? I am trying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good morning ladies. so, two more days until we have our house. whoohoo. i can't wait.

so, last night i was feeling so far away. i think it is because my mom is really frustrating me and i have no one that i usually talk to, to talk about it with. she is doing all the things that she always complained about people doing to her. she has started using guilt and making plans that would really put me out, like flying into charlotte to save herself $100 when it is 3-4 hours away. then she keeps wanting me to take care of stuff, like a problem we were having with our cell plan, right now as though we have nothing else going on and she could have taken care of it also. i just don't get it. and you can't say anything to her because she'll get all feisty about it. family!

so, i am sitting here writing and addie comes up with a donut. i asked her for a little bite and she whispered "no. it is a special treat for me and ethan" and her little terd butt wouldn't give me a bite. okay she finally gave me a bite. lol

so, no real plans today. just hanging out i guess. i wish the weather would cool off just a little but we've got some fun stuff to do for ethan's birthday. maybe we'll do something on that list. okay, i am going to come back for personals in just a minute. ciao.
 
alrighty, a couple of personals real quick...

laurie - good luck getting back into the swing of things. going back to work after a nice long vacation is always a bit rough. derek wasn't looking forward to it either after all the time we spent traveling. i hope things aren't too crazy.

lindas - don't you hate that with phone companies? it takes them so long to either fix the phone or replace it. i hope they get it fixed or replaced soon for you.

lindaw - yay for newlywed visitors and an excuse not to clean. i hope you had a great weekend.

Well today was Needle day in our house :(
Mya .... needed her 4-6 year needles because she's starting JK in two weeks ;) She did wonderfully ... not a single tear was shed.
Keisha .... well she's so far behind in her needles I should be ashamed of myself!! LOL!! But I'm not .... it's life .. and she's so little. So at the ripe old age of 3 she now has had her 1 year needle ;)

Keisha is grumpy now .... it's hot and humid here already at it's only 11:00 .... Danielle isn't feeling well ... I'm thinking a bit of dehydration from the beach yesterday ....either that or her MONTHLY friend is going to make it's first appearance ... SO HELP ME GOD!! BOOO!!! Olivia ... she's playing the Wii ;)

I'm hoping to scrap a little .... nap a little .... make some lunch ... some dinner ... and then it's off to Danielle's last league game of the year. ;)
 
Laurie -- Good luck getting back into the work week & eating healthy! Candy is always my downfall...

Linda -- You need to refuse to deal with that phone anymore!! They need to give you a new one, it sounds like the battery seat is screwed up.

Linda W -- yay for cleaning!! I'm actually surprised at how well we've been *keeping* the house clean.

Clara -- Good luck with your mom, I know how that can be!! But, yay! You're getting the house!

Krista -- Boo to her moodiness & possible monthly visitor!! Mine first arrived when I was about 11 :(

OK -- On to MEEE!!!

Today I've been searching for a great steal on a used bamboo tablet to test out & get used to before plunging for an Intuos 4. Unfortunately it seems like everyone holds on to their old tablets :(
So, I'm going out to lunch with one of my best friends & fellow graphic designer to get my mind off of wanting a tablet!!!
