Good morning ladies! I have the day off so I'm bringing out the virtual coffee and coffee cake for everyone who is trying to get going after a long weekend.

It was a good weekend here. Today is supposed to be rainy and dismal but I'm going to enjoy it anyway. Maybe I'll scrap.:D And I get to take the kids to school so that's always fun. And I'm thinking that I might get my nails done today as well.

Hope everyone has a great day.

good morning! I'm sitting here with a cup of coffee... apparently Matthew got sick in the middle of the night... but he couldn't tell me... so he crawled in bed with us and went back to sleep. I had to clean up his room this morning - ugh! He seems fine right now though... we'll see how today goes!

Not much going on here... Natalie comes back with a regular schedule this week... we went to Lowe's yesterday and got a couple flower boxes and flowers to put on the deck rail... I'm hoping we won't get as much rain as they say so we can get some yard work done in the backyard... we have holes to fill in and need to do some patching for the grass...

oh well... not much going on here today... I'm just hoping Matthew's not sick all day LOL!

hi Linda!

Have a great day everyone!

A quick hello from me! I've got the day off too. I am heading to the gym soon and then to Target to get a gift for a new baby that we are going to visit tonight. :)

For all you celebrated, hope you had a wonderful Easter. We had a great time visiting my family in PA, ate too much, and it was cold, but it was so fun.

Love to you all!

Good morning my lOvelies!

It is so nice having some vaca time! I got to sleep til 7:30 today, and now I need to get my butt going. The house is quiet- everyone else is still asleep. I don't know what time Gary got to sleep but as long as he is sleeping now, its a good thing.

All 4 of us ended up going to my bro's. Its a double edged sword in a way. It was great and made everyone happy to see him, but then he started to feel sh*** and cranky and we had to leave early. That bummed the rest of us out but what can you do? I know he felt bad about it. And I totally get when you don't feel good that you just want to be in your own house. Like, *now.* :D

Today I am getting my hair cut and colored!!! My mom is treating me, Love her! It has been since Sept-- and I swear I don't know which is worse. That my hair is growing in darker and darker-- or that the grey is getting more and more!

Linda- I see you made your goal!! woo hoo!!! 12,000!! You make our gallery SHINE!

Sandra- hope Matthew is better today.... and *fingers crossed for good weather*

I am hoping we get some decent weather this week too- I really really want to get out there in the yard!

Have a wonderful and happy day!

Me Me Monday- besides my hair, I want to do do some scrapping (the mojo is AWOL again)

Hi Ladies - Day off here as well. Which is good because it was a long weekend. Personally, it didn't turn out great until I went to my family's Easter stuff yesterday evening. We laughed a lot. It's a great family. It was nice to forget personal drama for a little bit.

Linda - I hope you enjoy the day off. It's rainy here too, but I think I'm going to go out for a little bit.

Sandra - That's too bad! I hope he's not sick all day. What a bummer to wake up to that this morning.

ME - Have fun!! I love and hate Target. I always walk out of there with much more than I intended.

Chris - I hope that you enjoy your me, me Monday time! You certainly deserve it girl!!

I'm going to get Ben ready and take him to daycare. Then I am going to shop a little and work on a graduation project for a friend. (Slide show video.) I'm sure there will be a coffee stop somewhere in there. =)

Have a great day all!

Well HI LADIES!!!!! I've missed everyone, along with my morning cup of tea! Gosh has it gotten nuts lately! I hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend! Ours was fun, even though we don't really celebrate it as a religious holiday we still enjoyed the family time :) And the weather was GORGEOUS, 70's!!! So since it was sooo pretty I got out and trimmed some of the roses (that I swore would take at least 2 years to even get high enough to see it above the bed edging, but I'll be darned it has only had one full season and the bushes are SPILLING OVER the edging! Not that that is bad as I wanted it to eventually, I just didn't expect it to so QUICKLY! All of them are about to bloom and one bush had 75 buds on it, multiply that by 7 bushes and we will have some amazing color soon, will have to snap a picture of that! I, Kristen, queen of black thumb, will have proof I can grow something!! :) I also got a steal on a Clematis at Walmart of all places, $2.50! So I have to hit Lowe's and see about getting a Trellis so I can plant it! :) OHH I also got some morning glories planted along our 120' fence!! YEAH I might not have to see that UGLY fence! Can you tell I'm tickled it is spring!!! A neighbor suggested the morning glories saying they would grow quickly and even my black thumb wouldn't hurt them. Guess I'll see :) I've even got to scrap tons over the weekend!! I've been working on the hybrid weight loss journal and several CT layouts...And I got my Weight Watchers info so I started adding up points too! So far it hasn't been bad, again I guess I'll wait and see if I can keep it all up! Well ladies I gotta run and work but I'll come back later to read up on everyone! Toddles!

hi all ! glad I get to say a little hello out here :D
hugs to you all
and
Happy birthday Merkee and Helen !!!! :D :D :D

Happy birthday Merkee and Helen! And Kristen, you clearly do not have a black thumb. I kill everything!!! And you have so much energy it's crazy! I'm jealous!

Good morning. I am sooooo jealous of all of you that have today off. Ethan had spring break last week and I didn't get any time off for it. And now today I have to work too. So, I have a very funny story about our drive home from my parents last night. At least I thought it was funny. DH...not so much.

So, Saturday night I went and got the boys at the airport. We went up to my parents house for Easter and had a great day. We left much later than planned but still not outrageously late. As we were getting into Tacoma (about 30 minutes from home Derek said something about needing gas. Then at Ft. Lewis (about 15 minutes from home) he said we really needed gas. He was driving so I figured he would stop. Instead of stopping he kept going. So, as we were coming up to our exit we ran out of gas and rolled off of the freeway. I immediately picked up my phone to make a phone call to see if Derek could get a ride to get gas. He said it was unnecessary and he would walk to the gas station (in the rain.) After he left I the kids were sleeping and I pulled out my laptop and started scrapping. I noticed that the radio started sounding funny and noticed that Derek left the car on so I turned it off. I figured he would have left the car so that everything would be okay. Not so much. Since the car wasn't moving he didn't even bother to turn it off. So he walked to the gas station and back...in the rain...put gas in the car and tried to start the car. Nothing. There was no juice left. At this point I just start laughing. I mean we are 3 miles from home we ran out of gas for no reason and then we can't start the car. he of course is furious and trying to blame me for not turning things off in the car and I just can't stop laughing. So then I call our friend Dave to come and jump our car. Derek is still freaking out because he can't even put the car into gear to back up for a jump. Before our friend Dave gets there Derek all of a sudden remembers that he has the battery for our camper in the back of the car and so he jump starts the car. Of course then we still have to wait for Dave to get there. Anyway, I found it absolutely hilarious and he did not. He was mad about walking in the rain for nothing as though that were the only option. Anyway, I am now out of time. I will chat again soon and say hi to you all.

Good morning!!! (or afternoon, depending) :)

We had another busy, busy weekend. I think my life will slow down a little for a bit. I hope so, anyway. I am exhausted. We had SIL's wedding reception Friday night. So much fun. We took the kids for a few hours and they had a blast. Everyone laughed and laughed watching my 3 wild children dance. They were the only kids there, so they got a lot of attention on the dance floor.

Then, Saturday we took the kids swimming at the hotel and went to SIL's for the gift opening. Then we went home and we all slept most of the rest of the day. Eric and I had gone to bed at 3 am the night before and the kids were up at 7:30 that morning, so we were pretty tired. That night my other SIL came over for supper. Then Sunday we went to church and over to IL's for Easter.

Eric and I are clearly not thinking straight after all this Vegas/wedding madness. This morning he drug Ella out of bed and took her to school, then came back home with her when he got to school and realized she didn't have school today!!!! AAAHHHH!!! And, Boden and Jacob are both running temps. Last night B had a 103 temp. Blah.

Linda - Thanks for the treats. :) Hope you do get your nails done! That sounds great. And I hope you get some scrapping time as well!

Sandra - I hope Michael feels better!

ME - Have fun visiting the freshie tonight!!

Chris - have fun getting your hair done! Can't wait for pics. :)

Sara - good luck with the slide show! And ... I hope you get that coffee. :)

Kristen - yay for planting! It is still too cold here for that but I can't wait to get some flowers going. My mom is an amazing gardener and I will never live up to her, but I do love to plant stuff. We usually do a big veggie garden and some flowers. We have a lot of deer and rabbits that eat my flowers but we have a crazy fence around the veggies so those stay in one piece. :)

Hey ladies!!

Happy Monday! I just sat down, Nico is napping. This day has flown by. Its been a blur of produce shopping, laundry, hardwood cleaning, and sesame street. LOL ..........Anyway....My brother got me Photoshop CS2! Computer wiz that he is...he doesnt know how to use it, and im finding its a lot different than my PSE7, so any tips? Does anyone even use CS2 anymore? lol. Well, im off to play with it, then have to start dinner. Hope everyone has a fab day!!!

Kelly - I had CS2 and when I switched to PSE7 I loved it. No tips for you, sorry.

Tali - I hope you get some much needed rest. Hopefully you'll get a break from all the crazyness.

Linda - enjoy your day off.

Sandra - Good luck with your yard. I wish I cared more about mine. I just can't wrap my brain around it but i always love to see other people's beautiful yards, except my cousin's who has gone off the gardening deepend and it just looks...I don't know the right word for it. I'm sure your yard looks gorgeous or is at least on its way after the winter.

ME - enjoy seeing the new baby. New babies are the best.

Chris - enjoy your week off and I hope you get some good sleep this week. I can't wait to get my hair done. I am so glad your mom always seems to know the right thing that you need to lift your spirits.

Sara - Sorry you had a yucky weekend. I hope Ben is feeling better and you get to enjoy your day off today.

Kristen - Good luck with all that gardening stuff. the only reason I can't garden is because I don't remember to take care of it, I think. I forget water, fertilizer or I just get bored. I hope you have a beautiful yard this year.

Hi Dumpty!!
