I can't believe that this month is half gone already!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay...so I am getting used to the meds and not falling over asleep all day long now!! YAY!!! I add a new medicine today...so we will see what happens there!

We had a busy busy day on Saturday!! Jesse had soccer at 9 and we rushed home to change and back out the door and off to the pumpkin patch. They had the best time!! We met Traci there so they were happy to see their Mother. She was having a good day, so it was very nice. Then we rushed home to clean up a bit and Sharon picked us up to go to Cameran's banquet...it was at one of the shelter's at the park..it was such a gorgeous day, it was perfect! After we ate and they gave their speeches and trophies we headed down to the park and the kids played until 7pm....they were filthy and happy when we came home...baths and in bed!!! I was exhausted!! Yesterday was a quiet day....I straightened up a bit and did some reading!! The kids played outside most of the day.

Today....a couple of errands and finish the laundry.....or is it ever finished??

Oh Nana- you are so ahead of yourself- It is only October- thank goodness or I would have started a new job (old job- new employer) and you would have missed Halloween!

I am off to exercise and then I will return!

I am not sure whether to hug you Nana, for being my partner in calender-challenged-ness, or smack you for giving me a HEART attack!!!!!!

I know I didn;t sleep good last night and I am feeling a bit fuzzy but I sure as heck didn;t think I lost a whole month :D:D:D
Not so sure about you though..... all those meds seem have made you into Rip Van Winkle!

But it is Monday and we are halfway through October which is pretty scary on its own....

My weekend flew past me, and I still feel like I need at least another day or tw to get my head/desk/life somewhat together. Guess that ius not going to happen. At least not this week!
Today I am off to work at my MIL's. I haven't seen her in a while so I am looking fwd to chatting and catching up. We also have asked her to make us a quilt for Christmas. She is am amazing quilter- published in many magazines, two books etc. She has wanted to make us a quilt for our bed for years but Ravyn had a tendency to chew on the edges of our old comforter. Now that she is *six* she seems to be past that stage LOL We are going to look at fabric and patterns today. So cool!

Me Me Monday:
When I get home from work, I really want to spend time in the Gallery here. There are so many gorgeous pages to drool over!

Nana, i was worrying that i hadn't even bought my TURKEY yet, let alone started thawing it out!! whew! it's sounds like everyone should have been totally pooped after all that you guys did!! wasn't it a gorgeous weekend?

Chris, can't wait to see you quilt! don't forget to post the pictures after Christmas! i used to quilt a little, and quickly found out that it was NOT for me!! :twitch:

Nancy, no one has to LET you join!! this is just someplace you drop by whenever you want to, to moan, complain, cry, laugh...wherever you are at the time. i'm so glad you're here!

for me: grocery shopping, ironing, MINT-ing and Roomba-ing. maybe some page-making. i have to look at some of the challenges for inspiration. i think i have to make a pie, too. i bought some apples last week and they're still in the fridge.

Happy Monday! find some sunshine, even if it's only inside your head! :becky:

Plenty on my To Do list today because i decided to play with some ART kits this weekend, but got my grunge and distress fix so now need to get to the other things.

Nana- Enjoy the rest of October!:)

Laurie- Hope you enjoyed the exercise start to your day.

Chris- How exciting to pick out fabric and choose your quilt design. What an amazing gift.

Morning Marie and Nancy and Phylis!

Hope your Monday is a good one all!

Morning everyone!

Nana--you scared me! I was wondering where October went!!

Had a great weekend. We went to the coast for the weekend--actually left Thursday night. Had no problems driving the motorhome. Thank goodness Craig was waiting for me at the RV park---I was too chicken to park it in the tiny little spot!

The golf tournament on Friday was great. Didn't win but did manage to get sunburned!! The team that won had an advantage--a golf pro was on their team.

Just enjoyed the weekend--took walks on the beach, got up super duper early (not on purpose) and took photos of the sunrise, got to scrap and then had to come back to the real world on Sunday and face a mountain of laundry.

I'll be working out of town a couple of days this week. Boo!!

I'm in the mood---you know---the mood to get things done around here. Like--put up the painting supplies that have been hanging on our patio for two months. Hubby has a problem putting things away. Putting down fertilizer and ironite for the winter. My grass is turning yellow. Patching the holes and painting in what used to be our son's room. He moved the first of August. Straighten up the cabinets......the list could go on and on and on. Call it spring cleaning in the fall!

Best get to work now---there is a mountain of paperwork to do plus I need to get ready for a meeting with the partners in the group.

Have a blessed day!

Hi again ladies... was so mad that I lost my post this morning!! Wanted to tell you all that my Daughter has a job interview this afternoon, I am so excited for her!! Since she got sick in 2000 she has been without any kind of employment and is living on disability. She is still not able to walk on her own, but everything else about her is quite normal. She is sick and tired of sitting around and doing nothing and has been waiting for someone to give her a chance for over 2 years now. The March of Dimes stepped into the picture about 8 months ago and have done more for her than any other group, she loves them!! Anyway she has an interview with a lady who lives about a block away from her home and this lady makes educational toys for children with disabilities. She is looking for someone to help with the orders and do her books, so this would be so perfect for my DD!! Keep your fingers crossed everyone and send out positive vibes for my sweet daughter!! Thanks!!
