Good Morning all of you Sleepy Heads :sleep: Hope everyone is enjoying the DSD!! Still thinking of all of you who are trying to get over Sandy's wrath!! Off to work for me soon and I was told yesterday that I shouldn't have to put in a full day today Hooray!!! Not much going on here otherwise except I sure hope to get back in here today to enjoy all of the fun going on at the "O"!!
Better hit the shower and get some breakfast, have a great Friday everyone wherever you are!! :wave:

Chris sent me a text this morning..her internet and phones are down again :( But her power is on...


I am home alone today...plan to get all my house cleaning done..hopefully by noon then I will have a couple of hours to play!!

Hi ladies! Chloe is home sick with a nasty cold ( has been the entire week), so will be coloring all day and watching tinker belle!!
 
Mornin' all!!!!!!! I've been really busy this week so I feel bad for not being around much, but girls, I'm freakin' out. I'm due Dec.30th and the dr says I could be having the baby in Nov, well... IT IS NOVEMBER NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So my goal is to aim for Dec 1... and however far I make it after that is just gravy! So cross your legs for me, and help me to stop freakin out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if I disapear at the end of the month, ya know I went off to have the baby, but I'll try to let ya'll know if something happens ok?
 
poor Chris! this will probably go on for some time, i fear. there are people without food and water in Staten Island, but at least they're running the New York Marathon. go figure.

up at 4 a.m. today, but i fell asleep in my recliner around 9:30, then woke up and went to bed about 11. honestly. i'm sounding more and more like someone's Old Uncle Fred or something. i am getting some stuff done. vac'd and dusted the library. my MINT is swiffering the floors in the kitchen and dining room, then it will kindly go on to wet-wipe them down. gonna order a pizza in a minute or two, then continue with the cleaning. what a thrilling day i'm having. :ohwell:

hope everyone is having as good a day as possible. and Trudy, hope yours is a SHORT one at work! Heather, hope the Little Cutie feels better soon. she's having a rough Fall. Nana, enjoy your time ALONE!! :cheer2: and Jen, YOU need to keep your legs crossed until Dec.1!! :rofl:
 
Good day - another one without power lol and the house is getting colder but friends have invited us over for dinner -a warm house and some one else cooking!

Phylis - I too was surprised am surprised the marathon still on but have a feeling now too late to cancel and those hotels and restaurants that are open do want and need the business. Statten Island is finally getting some help

Heather hope she gets well soon!

I am back again- as much as being offline sucks-- at least I have heat and hot water. (sorry nancy!! If you lived closer you could come here for sure!!!)

Just took Scott to his GF's about 45 mins away and what an eerie feeling-- ghost town with so many businesses w/o power, but weird traffic. One town had 2 gas stations pen and the lines were insane, police all over... any zombie apocalypse survivalists-- rule #1-- have gas!!

Jen-- legs are crossed ***tight** for you!!!!

Nana- did you enjoy your quiet house?

Nancy-- sending warm thoughts to you!

Phyllis- sounds like you had a productive day, if somewhat un-exciting!

Hi again "O" family... Well so much for a shorter day :mmph: ended up staying 20 mins later than I was supposed too. :rant: Why doesn't anything work out the way you plan??

Phylis - I wish I could trade places with you for a couple of days, I could use the rest!!(except for the Old Uncle Fred part LOL I already have that!!

Nana Linda - Hooray for a day all to yourself!! Enjoy!!!

Heather - Poor Chloe!! She really has had a rough couple of weeks hasn't she!! Hope she feels better real soon!!

Jen - Keeping my legs crossed for ya sweetie, but might I just say that if you had done that a few months ago you wouldn't be in this pickle :pound: :sorry: I just couldn't help myself!! You know that I am sending you good vibes to keep that baby safe and sound until Dec 1 at least!!

Chris - Thankfully you have a warm and cozy house and can cook!! Great that your internet is back up and running, hopefully it stays that way!!
