HAPPY WEEKEND LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just fixed breakfast for the boys....drinking my coffee....and looking at the sunshine outside thinking "this is one time I am so happy the weatherman got it WRONG!!":peace:

This means we have a ball game to attend this morning... I have some more work around here to do..then out for dinner tonight...maybe...Jamie"s (middle step daughter) birthday was Thursday, so we wanted to take her out to eat...she hasn't committed yet.

Okay girlies...you all have a fab weekend...I need to shower and get ready to head out...
 
hello ladies.

it is late saturday and i have no kids and you know what i am doing? nothing. we get a night w/o kids and we stay home and do nothing. Haha!! Today was nice. Had a bridal shower for my future SIL, that was fun. then hung out at the parents house with some friends along with my sis and parents of course. we are planning a surprise party for my sister but my sister is trying to make plans for my birthday the same weekend. we'll figure it out though.

well, i'll come back later. i hope everyone had a good weekend.
 
early morning everyone- didn't get any weeding done, but did finish mowing the lawn, and worked on a belt for the dress I am wearing to Trophy Ball today- the first belt design came out great in denim, but when I made it in the shiny fabric- oh not so much unless you wanted a big lump in the middle- don't ask it is on the bias. So plan B- fuse interfacing to it make a big wide belt with no tails and put scrap book embellishment pearls in a row down the back- since I used the same pearls on a cheap barrette last week to make it fancy- I'll match. Plan for the day - church, errands and the Ball all afternoon. We get to dance in a group, and perhaps next year will get to do a solo graduation dance.

WEll...as stated yesterday, the weatherman got the forecast WRONG...for the most part...he said rain and yucky all weekend!! We went to Cameran's ballgame...the clouds started rolling up as we were driving there, and the rain came as we pulled into the ball field!! For the next 3 hours it rained on and off and the sun came back out and was gorgeous the rest of the day and today it is beautiful out! :grin:

Today I need to go to the grocery store...and we are going to swing by my Mom's for a while.

Sharon called this morning and said Savannah was up most of the night...she took her to the Dr this morning, the Dr says she has Pink Eye...not sure how he gets that...but the little princess is not feeling good at all!!

Linda - hope Savannah feels better soon- usually they get it from swiping their runny noses and then rubbing their eyes- at least that is what the dr told me when mine had it.

Enjoy the sun - I am off to get dressed for the ball!
 
good afternoon!

Yesterday we did the diabetes walk... well me and Matthew... Will and Piper wanted to play games, so Gabe took them to that... Matthew and I just did the 1 mile walk... It was a lot of fun... think I'll do it next year by myself though LOL...

It's 5:00 p.m., and I haven't done anything all day except one load of laundry with another in the wash... I took a nap in the recliner this afternoon and should feel better, but I'm more tired than when I started *sigh* Went back to the doctor on Friday and she's put me on a daily migraine medication, 50,000 iu of Vitamin D once a week for 12 weeks, I have to do a sleep study, and then I have to go back to the doctor in 3 weeks... so we'll see what happens...

We're just spending the day being lazy... Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
