And it has begun- back to school for my kids. Scott's first class is at 9 and Cait's is at 11. Both are awake and getting ready to go. So far, no stress or anxiety attacks. Whew!! (although there is still time for that )
I hope that Leah is doing ok. She has been really anxious about the master's program, thinking that it is going to be too hard. I was teasing her before dinner the other night and felt terrible when I noticed that she was crying. She always wants to make sure that she isn't imposing by being here, especially for dinner so I was "scolding" her that she is like my daughter and she never has to feel unwelcome. Then I looked at her face, she bursts into tears and OMG- I know that I didn't make her cry but wow, I felt so bad and all I could do was hug her. Any good vibes that you have for her would be super appreciated. Thank you!!
I got easy meals planned for Gary and the kids for next week. I put them on the chalkboard with stars next to them so they can easily figure out what to cook. Now I only have to get myself prepared. As you all know, just packing my meds tends to be a panic-inducing activity.
I spent about an hour outside (yes, the sun was hot!) collecting morning glory seeds and cutting back the dead vines. I found a 3" long praying mantis. I had to call Scott and Leah so they could come out and see him. He had to be one of the biggest that I had ever seen. They are so darn cute. I got a picture with my iPod but it is really old and I am not even sure how to get pictures off of it
Today I am cleaning and then I have a bunch of household chores like bills and some mortgage-related tasks that I have been putting off a bit. I really need to figure out what I am doing for the September Birthday Bash too. That will be here before I know it.
