CHEERY O
Its my last day to sleep "late" (6am) Starting tomorrow its gonna be a very dark 5 am....... That one hour really makes a difference!

I was so busy yesterday with the house. Food shopping with Scott and actually picked out a few new options for meals. Sanded and spackled the second layer. Found some old white paint and freshened up to columns that are next to the stairs. Scrubbed out my bear proof (ha!) garbage can while it was empty. (I loooove the smell of ammonia in the morning:yuck:) The one thing I forgot to do was gather my tax information. Because of Gary is disabled, we have the opportunity to apply for a tax plan that freezes our property at a set rate. NJ has the highest or in the top few slots of property taxes in the nation-- We pay $8000 a year for a 50x100 lot and that is w/o city water since we have well and septic. :scared: I still have a couple of weeks to get it done, but if I keep forgetting we are going to be in trouble.

Today is my last day of working with Caitlyn. It is really going to stink tomorrow when I have to do all of the vacuuming myself. After that, we are meeting up with my mom for out back to school lunch. Kids are happy about that. Then Walmart and/or Target for last minute school stuff. (ick...)

WWW:
I wish vacuums were as light as air!
I really wish I never had to work but had lots of money!
I want to thank Gary's Lyme dr who gave him another 10 days of rocephin that had been donated (a $300 value!!)
I want jen to have the rest of these exclamation points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:D

wow, Chris!! that property tax bill is ENORMOUS! i thought PA was bad! i was trying to remember what our taxes are. maybe $3,000-ish for 2+ acres? we have well and septic, too. the Northeast is nuts with taxation. speaking of dark, it was pitch dark here at 6:30a.m. looking forward to the time change. but then i guess we just proceed to it's dark early in the morning and dark early in the evening. bleh. winter.

today is a Big Day Out for me. i'm actually going over to The Great Big Mall in the area to pick up a few things i need. not really looking forward to that. although it shouldn't be crowded, because everyone is back at work and back at school. but before that, i have to go out back and do my RoundAndRound walking on the patio and then fold up the towels in the dryer. hope you guys have a little more excitement in your day!

Wednesdays are so odd. especially in a week where Monday felt like Sunday.

Phylis.....Oh yeah...I have a lot more excitement in mine....Going to Sam's to buy bulk food loads because we have these kids to feed, and then to Walmart to finish shopping for the rest of the groceries....home to clean out everything to get all that food put away...then the kids are home and the the three hours of hell begins!!! (some days are not too bad, but they are wind up tight as an alarm clock..and for you young people..once upon a time, they made alarm clocks that you had to wind up ).

Chris.....DAGGGGGGOOOONE that is high taxes....I complain about ours!!! But I will give you a boot in the butt
smiley-boot.gif
to get you going on that!!!

More rain here today....it rained a touch yesterday morning...but then it was so humid the rest of the day...ICK!!!!

So today is all that food shopping and then if the rain clears...Little Man (C-man) has his first soccer game of the season tonight...woooooot!!! I guess I will drag them all with me...hope that works out okay!!

Morning ladies... I will trade you places and will do your grocery shopping if you will go to work for me today!! Early shift for me today but home by 3:30 so I might actually be able to spend a few minutes in here after work.

Chris - Yay! on the free meds for Gary!! Boooo!! on the cost of your property taxes!!! Ouch! I am up at 5:00 am usually too so you won't be alone in the dark!! Its already very dark here at that time. :mmph: Hope your day is filled with good things!

Phylis - Enjoy your round and round walk this morning and I hope the mall is not too crowded, like I said I will trade places with you today if you'd like. Buy yourself something nice at the Mall!!

Nana Linda- Ha, Ha, love your boot in the butt smiley!! Hope the rain stops for your game tonight! Maybe you will get some more great photos of your C-Man in action! Enjoy your day my friend!!!

Well off to get some breakfast and get ready for work, really not a bad work week as its a short one and I get Friday off this week, so another long weekend for me, hooray!!!

Yay for long weekends Trudy!

Taxes suck, lol

P I am doing the great big mall here tomorrow-but its quiet first thing in the morning, thank goodness.

Nana, I'll take your rain! I love the rain!

Today I am going on a lunch date with my hubby! It'll be nice to relax and not have to cut up anyone's food! LOL Chloe had a good day at school yesterday for the most part but recess and lunch recess were not good. The whole school is together and the park is insane! She didn't get a turn on anything and when we picked her, she cried. She is too sweet to hold her spot inline, so everyone just jumps in front of her. Kindergartners had their own recess times, so it is a huge change for her.

Heather, poor Chloe! i don't think i could watch my kids go through the whole school thing again. good luck to both of you!

Trudy, hang in there: Friday approaches!!

Nana, you make my head spin. probably because YOUR head is spinning. there is a special place reserved in heaven for nanas like YOU!

i couldn't find the shoes i needed to find at the Great Big Mall. but the bunless burger at 5 Guys was superb!

Girls y'all making my head spin today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got up way too early, now I have to do some baking and I'm way too tired. BLAH!!!!!!!!! and it got cold and feels like we may have some rain headed our way. But SCHOOL IS IN FULL SWING WHOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

P I may have to start drinking! LOL Getting the first two through the school years was bad enough! I am not a fan of school, period.

LOL! This is such a delightful way to end a long day, here with all of my O-sisters! I was up at 4:00 so I could get some work done. Between homework and soccer practice, there was no time last night to finish...and I did stay up until 11. When I checked my glucose at about 6:30 am, it was really high. I don't think that my body likes being short changed on sleep... :-(

Oh Heather, I am sorry for your sweet Chloe. I was very shy when I was younger and I didn't play with anyone for the entire year of kindergarten. My poor mother would watch out the window, looking through binoculars each day at recess. (We lived across the street from school.) And, each day, I stood alone on the playground. Dad would always call her at lunch to ask if I had played with anyone that day and each day she would say no. Sad story, but true. But, it turned out ok in the end...after all, here I am playing with all of you each day! ((hugs)) to you and Chloe

That is so funny that your mom did that! My husband hates her being at school away from me all day . He told me to go to the school and watch her at recess from afar to see if she is ok. He was only half kidding! Lol

Oh Heather, you just watch... if she is anything like her mommy she will be the bell of the ball at school and everyone will want to be her friend!! Keep the faith, it will happen!!

Oh I should mention its not that she lacks friends, it's just soooooo busy at recesses in the playground with not only lots of kids but bigger ones as well and the grade one kids are so small. It's overwhelming right now until they get used to it

Heather, may i suggest 7 Deadly Zins, if you decide to have a little wine each day? a littel goes a LONG way! dunno if they have it in Canada, though.
