The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
In a few hours, we will close the chapter of September 2020. Yay?
After last night, I am even more worried about the next 5 weeks in the US. I am here a bit late since Cait and I were discussing the insanity of the debate last night. "Debate." More like a cage match. I wasn't planning on watching and I didn't. But I made the mistake of thinking I would listen to it as I fell asleep. Thinking? What in the world was I thinking??? Did I really expect it to be "relaxing" in any way? :twitch:
Caitlyn said that it was very difficult to watch, it made her heart pound and not in a good way. I understand. Scott and Leah have a tradition of watching the debates while drinking whiskey out of cereal bowls. I joked to him that he shouldn't play any debate drinking games and to give his car keys to Leah's mom if he did.

But the good news for me is that I behaved yesterday and it was the first day in two weeks that I didn't reinjure myself. I am planning on staying put again today, as much as I can.
Gary picked up the groceries for me yesterday and the universe rewarded him. He found two Halloween yard decorations in the garbage down the street. If I had gone on my own I would not have stopped and if I went with him, I would have b****** at him. :D He came home extremely excited. they were broken but he was b able to fix them with a little work.

I got another LO scrapped of "sweet" little Imogene and I really love it, she's such a cutie even if she is a touch evil. I should get to work on some tagging my supplies and cleaning up my HD today.

Love to all!!!

Kay- hope that your Dr appt went well and that the computer issues are getting "solved."

Trudy- Argh, I forgot that you have a wall oven- makes it harder to repair. Did the tech get it working again?
You were very busy the day before, and Ihave all of my fingers crossed that mail gets to your family with no problems. Is Hunter happier going to school this week? Thanks for liking my RBG LO.
Keep those prayers coming our way w/r/t DT

Cheryl- I showed Gary the skeleton photo- he laughed!!
So exciting to got so much picked out at Lowe's! I am drooling over the light fixture for your scrap room.
Mmm, pizza... One of the BEST things about living in NJ is the pizza. And bagels.:hungry:
Hope you had a fab time with the kids.

Morning O-zies. I am off on my hike this morning, but wouldn't you know it the smoke has moved back in to our area :mmph: Hopefully it will be clearing out again before I go, but it looks like it's pretty thick out there right now. Of course, Murphy's Law right?? It's been a few weeks since I have been able to get out there on a hike and now the smoke decides to return  Oh well I guess I will just have to see what it is like by the time I have leave and decide then if I will go or not. I will have my lunch packed and backpack ready to go either way. I had a nice visit with MIL and FIL and they both seemed to be fine. I must have misunderstood MIL as she came into town to get her hair cut and not to be fitted for her heart monitor :noidea: Now she says she is ready for the second wave and has nice short hair LOL. The wall oven is fixed and it was very strange because the repair guy pulled the oven out and went to check to see if the fuse inside the oven was burned out and poof, it started working again. He was very surprised!!! Me too LOL. He is not sure what the heck was wrong or why it lost power, he said everything looked fine and all the connections were secure. :noidea: He said he has never seen that happen before! I tell ya I think we have a sneaky little ghost living in our kitchen!! We also had the neighbour across the street who is an electrician come and test our breaker box and all was good there too. Oh well we were not charged for the service call as the oven is still under warranty and the repair guy said he will give us a quote on a new control panel for the front of the oven, because he is guessing that may be the problem, but to wait to get one and see if it happens again. :loco:

Chris - Did you send your ghost over to my house?? Yes Hunter was a bit happier going to school on Monday and today he there again, hopefully he just had a bad day the other day and it doesn't happen again! I heard a bit of the debate last night and shut it off. I can't stand listening to that Buffoon LOL. I will continue to send good thoughts your way for the upcoming election!! :prayer:

Cheryl - How fun to shop for all your light fixtures!! I would be in heaven LOL. Those ones for your craft room sound great! That is the one thing I wish I had in my craft room, better lighting! Hope you enjoyed your delicious pizza with the kids! Lucky you!!

Ok it looks like the smoke might be clearing off a bit, so I best get things ready to go. I will try to do some catching up here at the O when I get back in the afternoon! Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Good evening, sweeties. Chris, I had to laugh about Scott and Leah watching the debates and drinking whiskey out of cereal bowls. Ava said there was a "drinking game" for last night's debates (she's too young to drink) but every time each one of them said something (I don't even remember what now) everybody had to take a drink. LOL We didn't, but we acted like we did. It got pretty funny. Chuck said it was one of the most wasteful hour and a half he'd ever spent in his life. I fell asleep and Braden made me wake up.

Glad Gary liked the skeleton picture. I never did find the layout I made. Grrrrrrr. I was pooped today after a full day of shopping and then the kids being over here all evening and that "rousing debate". I added a few pictures from our shopping trip yesterday. I've added a few recently, too - all the insulation is in - drywall next. The pictures aren't too exciting, but real progress is being made.

Trudy, that IS Murphy's Law - dang anyway! Daisy and I walked further today than we've ever walked. My goal is to make it all the way up to our house. We made it about half way today - the road pretty much goes straight up. It's over a half mile from our front door, to where we walked today and back.

Here's a link to my album. I didn't get a picture of my scraproom lights, though.
