CHEERY O
Oh, thank *goodness*-- my Crankypants are in the wash, which means I am safe to be around today.

I was in a yucky mood most of the morning but it eased up in the afternoon. No thanks to the yoga video I did. hmmmph. I found a "Yoga for Anger" video by the woman whose YouTube channel I subscribe to. It did not work. It made me more aggravated with myself that I wasn't getting into a better headspace. It was all my own fault. I think I expected my mood to shift immediately, and wasn't satisfied that it didn't work like this *snaps fingers*

I kept myself busy with cleaning out my Weis filing cabinet, sorting all of my lesson plans and class materials. I had so much stuff spread all over the floor, I had to put my chair in the other room while I was working. I took a break in the afternoon by scrapping a Color Play page. I need to add the finishing touches today and then start uploading.

I decided not to pack because the weather down the shore is still all over the place. Yesterday it was going to be sunny and 70s, today's forecast says it is going to be mostly cloudy and cooler.

Not much is happening today other than cleaning for my friend this afternoon and last-minute food shopping adjustments for the online order. I have to see if I can dig up a small backpack for Friday- a regular backpack is too big but a purse is going to be too small.

Oh yeah, good news-- it rained last night! Not a lot but better than nothing. It might rain again today :please:

HAGD!

All's well and you are forgiven! ;). We all have "THOSE" days!
Where along the shore are you going?
I do hope the rain hits your area but not where you will be at the shore!

We are going to the same town as we have been for the last 7-8 years, Spring Lake, NJ. We have stayed at a couple of different places but the hotel we usually try to book is right across the street from the ocean. My mom will sleep late, I'll grab coffee and walk to the beach for an hour or so. Or if she isn't feeling great, she can stay in the room and I'll walk the boardwalk. The other B&B's we stayed at were nice but you have to drive to get to the beach. I'd feel bad about leaving her even if she was fine with it.

Your dad giving up his independence is not going to be an easy thing to do! It is hard for women, but especially hard for men! I hope nothing bad happens for him to realize it is time! :hug4:
That's for sure. It doesn't help that Gary wants/needs a second car since I am out of the house more often than I used to be. I'm feeling pressure from everyone.
Kathy rolled her eyes at me (she was sitting next to me in the front and Dorothy was in her wheelchair behind us). Finally she just interrupted Dorothy and said, "OK! I'm going in now! Thanks! I had a wonderful time! Let's do it again sometime! Bye!" And out the door she went! :floorlaugh:
Hahahaha! That sounds like me-- once I am done- the social battery is *out*-- I am DONE!
I ended up getting sick and he had to bring me back to the house.
Are you feeling better today?
So all the bins and everything under the sink had to be taken out and is now over under the kitchen window. Thank goodness most of the stuff are in bins.... I
Oh noooo-- you are not catching any breaks, are you? So good that DD#1 was able to see what was happening before the sink leaked even more. It's the last thing you needed after being sick and while the kids are in and out visiting you.

I hope that the disposal gets fixed on Friday!
Did DS#2 flight come in without any other delays?

I know youre not late with the AJ challenge. :heartpumppink: But the 21st is the date right? :floorlaugh: It was in my mind. So I was stalking things. But have had no time to do more then think about what I want to do.
:hug4:
You had me doubting myself about the date (you know me and days and dates! bwuhahah!) and had to go back to my calendar to count it out. *g*
Today is my day off. I am turning my phone off and wont be answering it at all. I need the break from people.
Good for you!!

Hopefully you'll feel less cranky before your trip though. Where are you going?
Thanks! I am feeling much better today than I did on Monday and Tuesday.
We are going down the shore! And I cannot wait!

Iy yi YI!!! I would have needed something stronger than a coffee after that drive. All good thoughts that it is a simple and inexpensive fix. :praying2:

Hugs to you all!

Good Morning!!!

Thank you Chris for starting the day with laughter.

:laundry::laundry::laundry:
Wash those cranky pants and throw em in the dryer on high heat so they shrink!!!

I would say not much happening today but its Wednesday so I will be off and running like a crazy woman. Tonight is Mexican casserole, basically tacos without the shell. Layered rice, beans, meat and topped with cheese. Salad, sour cream, and chips served on the side. Then, well, prep the Costco list and make sure everything is ready for next months meals. Do the dishes, make sure the kitchen is cleaned. And then, in about 12 hours, I get to put my feet up again. I love it! I know I am crazy but I love love love feeding people. Yes, its stressful and yes its a ton of work but it fills my heart to see them eat and hear how they love it. We make people wait until 5:50 (dinner starts at 5:30 and ends at 6) to get seconds, this ensures those running from work get food. I love seeing the kids line up for seconds. They've finally learned I mean it, 5:50 not a second before :floorlaugh: I use to have to stand there and make them wait, now they know to wait. The fact that people walk in the door at 5:50 helps them see why I make them wait. But it fills me with happy warmth to see they want to go back for more and are enjoying the food. Makes all the work worth it and the aches so worth it. The worst part, tomorrow is Costco run. I wont have down time to recover. I think Monday I get to relax, nope its house cleaning. Just dont have to leave the house but it wont be a down day. Life seems to have picked up speed and we're off and running like the wind that's blowing outside.

Off to feed dogs and get this day started. Have a wonderful day!

Glad you were able to wash those Crankypants! ;)
Yeah, weather is all over the place here, too. One day we are not worried about the weather for the church gathering in the woods this weekend.....next day it looks to be a problem! :praying2: prayers for good weather for both of us!

Is it church people you are feeding? Do you have Mid-week services?

Good afternoon,
This day has been lost! Did some work around here before leaving to get some more screws for Mark to finish the decking tonight before church. I'm the "go-fer" for this project, LOL! That's OK. I think mainly he just likes my company down there with him!
So I got the decking screws and brought them back to the house. Then let Asher outside before heading over to pick up Mark and his co-worker, Bob, for lunch.
Did some checkbook work when I got home. Let Asher out again. Got my couple of CP pages posted in the gallery and around town, LOL!
Put the chicken out to thaw that I will be cooking for this weekend. I decided that if the weather is yucky on Saturday that we will tell everyone to plan on eating lunch at the church on Sunday. That way we won't be stuck with having to deal with so much chicken stew and dumplings!
