Wow-ZA!! This month is seriously flying by. *whoooosh!* I am hoping that we get something of an Indian Summer but it is not feeling like it ATM. Its been so cool, and the shorter days are already making me tired Oh, wait. I am always tired!LOL

Yesterday was uneventful, aside from waiting in the dr's office for an hour before I got seen. I hope that I don't have to wait like that again today.

Aside from that, it has been nice not going crazy trying to get my house cleaned. I still have to make a scrap page for a wedding I am going to next weekend. The couple has been together for 20 years, has 2 boys, a house, and are finally making it "official." The invitation had a prom picture of them together and then I grabbed a photo of the 2 of them from Facebook. I am going to do a page of a "then and now" theme. If anyone has a good kit, or word art, please share

Phyllis- I am really glad that your carotid test was good, but that is a bummer that you still don't know what is up with your eyes. Feel/see better and come back soon!

Nancy- OMG, I hate when grocery stores do that!!! My shop rite is very old and outdated and was supposed to be renovated years ago and it has never happened. To make things look "nice" -- very unsuccessfully- they move stuff around all of the time, with no sense of logic. Makes me crazy!
Yay for hockey!!!
No official word on the mauling but lots of rumors flying about town that there might be more to this that initially reported. Very sad.

Cougars in your area-- that doesn't sound good! We are starting to get coyote sightings here as well, and a friend posted a photo of a bobcat in her yard the other day. But yeah, let's go and build some more office buildings that sit vacant or another condo complex. SMH
How was the pool yesterday? Hope it wasn't as crowded as the day before. You would think that the lady that was bumping into people would see that she was messing things up?

Jean- I am trying to hold off as much as possible in turning the heat on, but we have had space heater running in the mornings.

good morning! It is chilly and cloudy and tomorrow rain. But I did get in a good walk. And I watched more hockey preseason games. Tonight is coffee with the girls so that should be fun. First hot chocolate of the fall. Seems so weird to have fall arrive. Not ready at all.

Chris so glad the drs appt was uneventful but the waiting is the pits. I hope the wait is not that long today.

Trudy I am loving Outlander! I am pissed that this next Sat is the mid season finale and I have to wait 3 or more months to see the end. But so glad to find out that they have renewed it for a second season. There are some things from the book that I wish were included in the shows but for the most part they are keeping true to the books. I have read the first 4 books but I am stopping now because I will just spend my whole day reading them. Hope the swimming went better yesterday. It is such a good form of exercise but I really am not a water person.

Jean I feel like turning on the heat today too. We should have warmer weather here by Friday. Hope some heat comes your way soon!

Hey ladies... I am late getting in here, laps done and now trying to get some more scrapping done.

Chris - Its nice to hear that you have had no major upsets in the last couple of days!! Hopefully your days go along like this for some time! Uneventful is a good thing!! Thanks for the nice compliment on my layout for the pre-release! :becky:

Phylis - Hope your eyes are getting better!!

Nancy - I didn't know that the mid season Outlander finale was going to happen already?? But so glad that they will continue making the series!! Hubby is also very happy that the hockey season is starting again. I am on book 7 and looking forward to the last book. It is hard to put them down!

Jean - Yes it is another lovely day here too! We had a ton of rain yesterday and it was much needed. Hopefully we will get some more tomorrow, still nice and mild and no cold weather here yet.

Ok ladies, I am off to get the laundry finished then back to scrapping! Tired now from doing my laps, but a good tired! Had a whole lane to myself for laps today Hooray!!! Enjoy the rest of your day! :wave:
