aaaaaahhhhhhhh-choooooooooooooooo!
Allergy season has begun and I have to say, it is not the best thing in the world to have an itchy, runny nose while wearing a mask
At least I don't have to wear one for long periods of time.
We had a nice time with Caitlyn yesterday, she came in before I went to bed to say thank you for everything. Gave me some really big hugs. That is making me happy still. I know, I say it *all* the time, but I have great kids.
Did I do anything else yesterday? Made bread. That was really good. :hungry:
I know one thing that took me a longer time than it should have. I am writing letters through a voting organization to "irregular" voters- registered voters that don't vote in every election. The letters have to be non-partisan and I needed to write a couple of sentences why voting is important to me and to encourage them to vote. I struggled with it, wrote a short paragraph in Google Docs, emailed it to the family, and gave them editing permission.
That in itself was hysterical. The kids were editing at the same time and I was watching them add comments at the bottom. These were not grammatical changes but a conversation going back and forth between the two of them which included some name-calling and invoked Scott's pirate persona- Captain Greasy Beard.

They did correct a few typos and added some punctuation. I started to write out the first letter and realized that I didn't have enough room, even though I had printed everything as small as I legibly could. I had to break it into two parts. I am not sure if I was "supposed" to do that, but it is done.
I have a few more to do.
hahah! I just looked out my window and the skeleton band is coming together!
No major plans today other than run down to pick up Caitlyn's contact. She has internship meetings all day to I offered to do it. Might be nice to see something other than these 4 walls!
Wishing you all a fantasic day!
