Good morning, lOvely O-Fam!!!
This week is going by so fast, although Real Life (aka Back to school/college) is just beginning. Scott starts classes today with a bang. He has Algebra, which he unfortunately failed last semester and is re-taking it. The kid had a disability in Math (processing speed) as well as chronic illness. As an adult, he has to self-report if he needs any extra help, which he refused to do. Feels that he is able to work through it on his own. I give him credit for that, and hopefully this class will be easier the second time 'round.
Yesterday was a long day for me, but I think I look beeee-U-tiful now.
My hair is now a dark blond with highlights to cover and blend the grey. No more bleached out ends and 4" dark brown roots. Cait's is dark brown with beautiful lilac-grey highlights. Who would have thought that young people would actually dye their hair grey? hehe!!! My cousin did this for us so Cait and I took turns watching her 3 yo. he is the cutest thing, but I am not used to the activity!!
Today I am off to get blood work and food shopping, two of my favorite *snort* things. Then I *have* to get things in order here. In my head, on my desk, the whole she-bang. Tonight starts Rocephin, so while I am going to hate being "tethered" I am looking fwd to some health improvement. I only need to do three days of this IV, she is doubling the dose of the meds, but shortening the time frame, hoping to hit the bacteria harder, but keeping my liver/WBC stable. We'll see. *shrug*
In case you were wondering,
Have a fab day!

Today is National Blueberry Popsicle Day! Blueberry popsicles are a delightful summer treat, especially when they're made with fresh-squeezed blueberry juice.
Popsicles were invented in 1905 by an eleven-year-old boy named Frank Epperson. One winter's night he accidentally left a fruit-flavored drink with a stirring stick on his porch. In the morning, it was the frozen treat we all know and love. Frank called his invention the "Epsicle," but the name was changed to "popsicle" eighteen years later.
To celebrate National Blueberry Popsicle Day, purchase a pack of blueberry popsicles or make your own homemade version. Enjoy!
Have a fab day!
