GoooOd mOrning!!
Who is ready to go back to bed? Meeee!!
I slept great until 3 am, then it was tossing and turning until the coffee pot beeped. Blergh.
Did you get everything done on your To-Do lists yesterday or was it a To-Don't? My day was a mix of stuff. I got the LR/DR all put back after the steam cleaning. Then I went outside to gather things for my sample Journey Stick. I am sooo glad that I did it. Friday's lesson is looking for Art in nature and we will be making journey sticks. You find a branch about arm's length, look for things that you like, and attach it to the stick. After the hike, we will share some of the things we found and/or tell a story using the items we collected.
I bought double-sided sticky tape to attach to the branches to add smaller items to them. The tape I bought would stick to the branch, but I couldn't peel the backing off. There was no way it was going to work. Thankfully, I had some leftover tape for when I plastic over the windows for the winter, and that did the trick. The kids are going to use tape and yarn but I cut more yarn than I had originally planned. What a mess that would have been -- to be in the woods and not have anything to make the sticks themselves.
I had a financial freak-out again. We got our new car insurance bill, which was 100% in line with what I was expecting, just rough seeing it in black and white. Then I made the mistake of looking at the health insurance plans again. I was mistaken, I thought my current plan had a $750 deductible -- it was $0. That plan's deductible is going to $2500 and the premium (without subsidies) is going from $800/month to $1600/month. How in the world can anyone afford this?
JFC (sorry for the language)
I am off to clean for my friend this morning, then I am working the next three days at Weis. Will it make a dent in my financial freak-out? Bwuwuwuwuuah!! Not even a tiny bit! *maniacal and hysterical laughter*
Sheeeesh.....
On that note, HAGD!

!!! That is exciting!

And to make yesterday a special day... both DD#1 and DSis called me to see how I was doing.

Yes... it is time for dressing warm and putting on a jacket when I run errands. They are talking about snow in another week or so.
Its crazy how much energy kids take. This is why were suppose to have them young LOL. Glad its your last day. As much as I know you enjoyed every moment, tomorrow will be all the sweeter that you dont have to rush out of the house.
We didn't even get 1/2 inch but it was a start. We're in the snow melt snow phase and soon it will stick for good. For sure time to pull out the wool coat as the winds and feels like temps are below freezing. Todays gonna be another crazy day but I'm ready this time. Oh and did I mention, when I got my car back they said yep, tire studs are fixed, bring it back every 50 miles a couple times to make sure and oh yeah you have a wheel bearing that needs replaced. Ugh, why cant cars survive and go forever like the 80's models do. My plow truck takes way less maintenance. Oh well, at least it will be fixed and I wont have issues. The funniest thing they said was come back after I put 50 miles on the tires. I was like okay so you want me to come back tomorrow? And they laughed. I was like 50 a day is easy and every day. What a pain to remember to stop and have things checked out but better safe than sorry.
