hellllloOOOOOOO!
Happy Wednesday, we are flying through the month, aren't we?
I am not sure how I feel about this week/month/year. (that is a lie. I know how I feel about the year. I hate 2020.) But the time passing is making my head spin.
I am such a blob lately, not doing much of anything. Anything that I should/could do, I seem to push off to another day. I *must* get my to-do list better prepared. I have been doing better with keeping up with housework, so there is that.

The sun didn't come out until lunchtime yesterday so I didn't make it out to rake leaves. And I was lazy and ended up not taking the dogs for a walk. I did finish the food shopping/placed the order and made homemade meatballs with spaghetti for dinner. Gary asked me to make them and I had ground beef in the freezer from the FP. I only ate one small one, I haven't eaten beef in a long time and the last thing I need is an upset stomach from it.

After dinner, the three kids and Gary and I played a game - Rise of the Tribes IIRC. It is a strategy board game where you build villages and communities. It reminded me of a combination of Risk and Monopoly ;)
It was fun, something different than our usual games.

I am off to the store to pick up food and then I am going to work in my office, I tried to pay bills yesterday but the one website was down. Hopefully, it will be up today. I have been pretty much MIA from here too, I should spend some time in the Gallery.

Gratitudes:
-coffee. I love coffee and how it warms me up and wakes me up!

xoxo

Trudy- Good job T! Two pages done and only 9 more calendars to go. You are good! How was the pool yesterday?
"Turtley Awesome Birthday" That is so darn cute.
I know how lucky I am to be able to talk to my mom whenever I want. She called yesterday while I was cooking so Caitlyn answered the phone. She talked to my mom for half-hour and then my mom hung up, didn't need to talk to me after that LOL That makes me happy.
Hope you had a nice chat with Heather and the boys yesterday.

Kay- WTH is up with your monitor? That is so strange. I hate knowing that I had a fix for something but then can't remember what the fix was. It is always something.
Gary is currently yelling at his hard drive that failed. We had just gotten a property tax rebate since he is disabled and it *just* covered a new HD. But now the old drive won't work at all while he is trying to clone it to the new one. Why do these things break down so often? Hope that SIL can get everything all figured out.

Cheryl- the geese are all well and good until they poop *everywhere*
The local schools and parks would put cutouts of dogs on the grass to scare them off but it never worked. hehehe
That melatonin trip sounds like it would have freaked me out too!

Nancy- the afternoon turned out very nice here too which made me more aggravated at myself that I didn't take W out for a walk.
I would have been scared to see Gary sick too, glad that your DH is ok, only sinus infection. Not that they are fun but the alternative is worse. Gary had a mini-panic attack on Friday, he woke up coughing and sore throat. He made an appt for a COVID test, then realized it was just allergies and canceled it. It is hard to not be anxious.
Oh my, that is so sad to hear about the man that was hit. :(

Caitlyn said the other day that she misses her commute to Ramapo, she would go over the mountains and the leaves would be spectacular this time of year. As much as I dislike certain things about my town, it really has some pretty areas.

Hugs!

Good early afternoon.

Poor Gary - having a panic attack. Glad he decided it was his allergies and didn't feel like he had to go get tested.

Ava and I decided, last minute, yesterday to go take back a pair of shoes that I bought over the weekend. Chuck convinced me that I wouldn't get much good out of them until spring. I think my brain is still thinking hot, hot, hot.

Then we went to Walmart and I got some "lumberjack boots". They're SO cute and they'll be warm - they're fur lined.

Yes, that duck poo is not fun - they've flown on - but it's everywhere! Daisy and I have to watch where we walk. They must have been resting their wings for their long flight to Florida. Haha Chuck laughed and said the smart animals were going TO Florida and we left. We both got a good laugh out of that.

It's getting beautiful out there - the leaves are just beginning to change. It's in the 70's today.

Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning, ladies. I'm working and getting out into the backyard for a few photos. I am practicing working with a bit more weight as I walk around for 10 minutes a few times a day, so what better weight to work with than my camera :)

That's all I can do though b/c by late afternoon I am in more pain and exhausted so baby steps for awhile. I'm realizing that the morning is my (slightly) productive time and the afternoon I can barely get through it and just want to finish work and go nap in bed til dinner which revives me enough to get through meal time and then I can lay on the floor in the LR and watch TV with the family.

I know Taz misses our long walks. He is going to be so happy when I can stay out longer and go further.

Cheryl - I bet the boots are comfy. I can't wait to start wearing mine.

Chris - I was surprised to hear you ate beef and no reaction. That must have been a shock to your body LOL. My body is doing really well with no meat/fish. I sometimes eat tofu/tempeh but not often. It's funny how I went from one extreme to the other...super low carb and now super high carb.

Heading out for a few groceries in a bit but wanted to say hi to you all. BFN

Hi ladies! quickly in and out of here again today. Had my hike and it was beautiful, a bit on the chilly side this morning so I had lots of layers on and even had to wear my mitts for the first few miles. This one was another 10km hike and lots of up and downs through some gorgeous woods on well groomed trails, so pretty! Now I am home and had my shower and am waiting the postal man to pick up a parcel that got ready for Heather. Tuesday's in October are free shipping days for small business card holders, so I took advantage of that and saved about $30 Hooray, the pick up was free too a one time offer from the post office, you gotta love free!! Hope that they do this again for December!! But probably won't. Opps the guy is here to pick up the parcel, so I will try to get back here later or catch up with you all tomorrow!
