GooOd morning, Lovely O-zies!
I see lots of newer faces in the Intro forum, so if you have made into this thread, welcome to the madness! *waves wildly*

I am a bit later than usual, poor Cait was throwing up last night, which made her nose bleed, which made her throw up more so she is staying home from school. I didn't need to get out to the bus stop so I had a few extra minutes before I get my day started.

Off to go food shopping this morning. woo. hoo. Cait gave me a couple of dinner ideas to try. The new recipe that I made yesterday was ok. It was a sweet potato/red lentil veggie burger and it was a lot of work for just ok. It was super-nutritious, with hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, oats, and an avocado sauce. But Scott only ate one, I had two, Gary had two and Cait couldn't even finish a half of one. Brendan had some when he got home from work but that kid eats just about anything!:p

I got all of the bee/pollinating seeds in the garden so they should sprout in early spring. Please remind me that they are there and not weeds! I also go the rest of the morning glory vines cut down as well as a lot of the dead flowers/lettuce. Pulled up some more mint to throw in a pot inside. It was beautiful out even if I was a bit chilly. Today is going to be even nice but I will be hooked to the Forever IV so I am stuck inside. Waaaah!!!!

I have several LO's to post, a couple of Nov. Challenge LOs to finish and a great Designer Spotlight LO to work on too. That is my consolation for not being outside.

I hope that all of you have a terrific day!

Nancy- WTG you and Rex- what a great team! Too funny about not having a poop bag. I have done that too and I felt awful.
You know that the weather is getting cooler at night when the cats come back up on the bed. How was the Devils game?
How funny that you g-pa called you Nicki. That wouldn't have been a common name years ago.

Trudy- so sorry that you are going through Update Hell. Hope you get your Mac all straightened out quickly!

Oh my goodness Claire! I cannot imagine finding out hours before giving birth that I was going to have twins! Good thing she had 3 names ready!
I am so darn jealous of countries that don't have really excruciatingly long election seasons. Ours never ever end. I hate it. I feel like if these candidates took that money and put it towards something "good" it would make so many problems solved. I know, totally Pollyanna!

jean- do we know what your first name is? *nosy* Glad that you like your middle name.

Hugs!

Hi, my Wednesday is almost over. It started as usual with Danya's (my youngest) waking up and his Tiiiiiii ( he still refuses to finish it with M)- that's how he calls for his brother Tim) Then breakfast for kids, checking if Tim has all nesessary things for school, daily routine etc. Nothing interesting)
Though I did some designer stuff today- remade some previews which still were with my old logo and old frame, registered at O and started chatting here - quite a goal for me))

ahh, and watched 2 episodes of Chuck) Now off to watch the 3rd for today and then off to bed)

Morning O-zies!! It great to see so much happening in the forums and new faces here, lots of excitement! Well I am officially back on track with my Mac and Photoshop again. The past two days have been spent trying to find a cure for the bugs that came with the new OS X El Capitan and my the way it affected my Photoshop. A warning to anyone who has Photoshop CS6 if you download the new operating system from Apple, your Photoshop might not work the way you want it to anymore. Of course Apple blames Adobe, Adobe blames Apple and around and around they go. From what I have been reading its all got to do with the Java that they use with the new download. Anyway after backing up all my important stuff and then wiping out my hard drive and resetting my mac to its Factory settings, then redownloading everything else I needed, I am back to the way things were before El Capitan. :mmph: what a PITA!! The only really good thing that happened to me yesterday was that we sold our Home Gym to a lovely young couple who are picking it up sometime today. Hooray!! Oh and I went for a nice long walk in the sun, to clear my head and get off of my chair that I have been stuck to for two days. LOL.

Chris - Sorry to hear that Cait is not having a good day today! Sure wish I could kick those lyme bugs right in the butt for all of you!!

Nice that you got to spend so much time outdoors yesterday, hope you remember not to pull all of those plants in the spring :becky: Sounds like you have a full day today even if it will be spent inside. I have lots to catch up with here too.

Daria - Hi and Welcome to madness!! Glad that you have joined us here!! Sounds like your mornings are busy and filled with cuteness! I miss the hustle and bustle of the early morning breakfast with the kids. Mine are all grown and living too far away!! I have three grandkids too that sadly I only get to see a few times a year, but it makes the visits so much more special!! Can't wait to check out all of your beautiful products! Have fun watching your episodes of Chuck!! I will have to check that out!

Ok I have to see what I have missed here for the past few days and then I hope to get some Ads done and get back to scrapping!! Wish me luck everyone!

Afternoon, O-zzies! Back to gray today, but it is still warmish. DH did his bird survey this morning and there was lots to see, especially sparrows, but many others too. The poinsettia he nurtured into a gorgeous plant last year has grown even more this year and today we first saw the beginning of red in its leaves.

Chris, wish we could all keep the nasties from bothering Cait! Hope you get lots done while stuck inside.

Dasha, how nice to have you join in (and sharing those hunks!)

Trudy, hooray for getting your computer back to working, but what a shame it had to be that way - and going backward to do it. Hope today is a good one.

Hi to all!

A quick drive-by for me. I doubt I will be here often, for at least the next few months. Such a busy time of year, including sewing doll clothes for Avery's Marisol (American Girl doll)...travels to Utah, then Arizona. Additionally, I have become a "Champion" at Scrapaneers as a result of attending their 1/2-day webinar last Saturday, and there is a TON of stuff for me to acquaint myself with. I want to watch every video, and do every lesson! What have I gotten myself into? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Anyway, just to let you know that I'm not dead in a ditch.

OH! And Trudy, I've started swimming at the new pool. Although the traffic/distance is the downside, the good news is that it uses a different kind of filtering system. The water actually feels "smoother!" ???? And they use way fewer chemicals, so I don't smell like chlorine all the time any more! I'm not the only one in the pool, and yet it isn't crowded at all. Bottom line...it's an improvement, especially since I'm only going two days a week now. Thank you, again, for that suggestion. It has made all the difference. And Miss Grumpy Lifeguard is much happier now!

Hope you all have wonderful fall/winter holidays, and I'll catch up with you in January.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Oh, Chris hope she will feel better soon.

Trudy, how did you know that my adult name is Daria) You stalk me? LOL Well I think I need to explain it) My adult name is Daria ( and in Russia we also have patronymic so my full official name is Daria Evgenievna Protchenko - don't even try to read it correctly LOL) But family and friends never call me like that - just Dasha) it's like... Jenniffer- Jenny, something like this)

And sorry for your Photoshop problems I hate when my comp is out of control)

Claire, glad to meet you, and Happy Birthday to your son!

Jean, oh now I begin to envy) The poinsettia is so beautiful but I've never seen it and you actually have it! And yes- hunks, well, they are around me always)

Sharon, great that you have time for swimming, i don't) Have a great time in your trip and see you in a January)
