So I am goign to get the kids off to school and be back in a bit. Well, it might be later today but I miss my O-Fam!!!
 
morning - well - did not get two good nights sleep in a row- froze last night- tomorrow I am putting the electric mattress warmer back on the bed- officially I need warm feet to sleep season!

Meg- congrats on winning the raid from Amanda!

Clara- glad to hear the dog and your MG made it back to NC safe and sound. sounds like you will have a fun day

Petra- where are you headed today?

IT'S RAINING IT'S POURING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NEED MUCH :tea: today.........my allergies have been bad this week....HEADACHES and burning eyes........sneezing my head off last night........and not too bad but a little stuffy..........it's the headaches that are getting to me. I have been Sssshhhing the kiddos like crazy...poor babies!! I just have Savannah today..........she is usually much quieter by herself. I suppose the "run over by a truck" feeling will go away soon ~sigh~

I have to get to Walmart today and pick up my SPOOKY ingredients for the SPOOKY treats I am going to make for Saturday. I am rather excited about this. I have been looking up games. I have a couple pinned down. I need to run get some cool prizes too....forgot those last week.

I better run...........Savannah is hungry and she needs a little nap before we run out!!! :car:

Wrote this last night before bed:
First Day

So, I finished packing clothes in the morning. The DH arrived home around 8, and we were on the road by 9. He was obviously grumpy and hungry, so we stopped at McD's for food.

I drove the first leg to Redding. Just south of stockton I got some serious cramping, an hour and forty minutes into the drive. When the DH woke up briefly, he found my midol and that killed the cramps AND my exhaustion, hooray!!!

The drive was pretty smooth until we got pretty far north -- road work. There were lots of random 55mph zones, so we had to be careful to not speed. It got annoying having to enable and disable the cruise control.

The cow and dragon on the outskirts of Yreka were dressed in pink to beat breast cancer!! I wonder if they'll have halloween or thanksgiving garb on when we drive home.

So, I learned to NEVER EVER AGAIN take a road trip when a) I am PMSing b) the DH just came off of his shift & only had 2hrs of sleep for the last 48 hours.

He was actually the more moody one, of course ;-) At one point I offered him a tampon.

I was supposed to take over for the last two hours, when the sun had set. He still charged ahead, and I had to stay wide awake to make sure he saw all the road work speed changes and didn't fall asleep himself. I should of kept driving, blergh.

At the "Enchanted Forest" south of Salem we got stuck in traffic, both of us were antsy to get to our destination and not at all happy about it. A semi without a license plate cut us off & started driving in the middle of the two lanes... it was all bumpy like he was in the wrong gear or the engine was going to die. It was super annoying, because if he broke down, there was no getting around him with the construction barriers. But he didn't, and eventually moved into the right lane.

When we finally got here, everyone was waiting up for us! They hashed out plans with us and then went to bed.

Now I'm awake, grumpy, and drowsy. Reeling from all of the caffeine yesterday and not getting any solid meals. It was all Cheese It snack mix and rice cakes yesterday.

Yayyyyy I won Amanda's raid!!!! I'm prob going to have to raid when I get home, lol, I left my EHD at home and I'm not sure I have enough space on my laptop.
 
Good morning all! Happy Hump Day! So I did get some scrapping done yesterday, but as usual I got side tracked and never did any pages for my daughter, so today I have to stay focused on the task :typing: I did also manage to get in a nice long walk yesterday, the sun was shining and it was nice and warm, so I soaked up all the rays I could.

Meg - Congrats on winning Amanda's Raid!!! You are so lucky girl!! I just love her stuff! Have fun shopping! Sounds like the worst part of your trip is now over, so on to the good stuff, it's a new day!! Enjoy :thumb:

Chris - Yikes, not like you to be so rushed?? Did you sleep in? Hope to see you here later!

Laurie - COLD FEET....BRRRRR!! No way can you sleep with cold feet, better get that electric blanket going. Hope your day is Grand!!

Nana Linda - Soooo sorry that you are suffering with allergies!! It must be a real pain! :sick: Hope you headache clears up soon and that the sun comes back out for you too :hug: Take care of you :kiss:
