The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Oh my, please tell me that there is something in the air that is making everyone moody and cranky. My family is just miserable ATM. Scott is stressing over school, Gary isn't feeling well, Cait, she seems to be doing ok, if a bit hormonal, and I am a mess.
The good news is that Jaida isn't being a total Brat Queen. (Gotta be happy for the little things). When I was working with her outside yesterday, she actually listened a bit. I got her to do a Side-Sit *twice*! That was one of the commands from the very first class and I could never get her to do it. I also walked with her up and down the street, but we are getting farther and back and forth in front of my driveway. Progress!
She really loves the chicken livers, and they are seriously GROSS! But she gets a whiff of them, and she wants them, so that is what I will have to deal with.

Today is my Day O' Fun- food shopping and Social Security/Bill Paying. And Blood work and IV. Oh and yes, I need to send a letter to the Pathologist office. The damn (sorry for language!) Collections Agency called me again. :yell: I told him to stop calling me, that this was now harassment. He said that he would be happy to take my number off of the call list but that I needed to be aware that the case would still be open. Great.
I want to have it on record that I had spoke to K on such and such dates and blah blah blah. I have never had to deal with a collections agency before, is this normal for them to do this????

I need a drink and it is only 6am! JK!!!!! Although if someone spiked my coffee with a bit of Bailey's I wouldn't say no. hahahahah!!!!!

Today is Grover’s birthday! Grover is a blue furry monster from Sesame Street who we love for his caring, cute, and tender personality. His first appearance on the show was in 1970, and was performed by Frank Oz and Eric Jacobson.
Grover is known for the quirky way he speaks, often forgetting to use contractions. He’s usually seen with his close friend Kermit. Grover plays many different roles on Sesame Street – including a super hero known as Super Grover!
Celebrate Grover’s birthday by watching an episode of Sesame Street with your family. You can also celebrate by sending one of our free Sesame Street online invitations for your next kids birthday party.

Do/did you like the Muppets? Sesame Street? Growing up, we couldn't get Channel 13 (PBS) on our TVs even with the Rabbit Ears up and out and all over. (Good times!!) so we never really watched Sesame St. But when the Muppet Show was on Network TV, we watched that all of the time. My favorites Muppets were the grouchy guys in the balcony (blanking on their names), Animal, and Beaker.

Who is your favorite Muppet?

Nancy- it would be nice to see the Mets win it all.:)
What a terrific Monday you had, all sports, all day! I can see that you are getting lots of time out inthe fresh air- I was able to work in the yard, cutting another section of vines down before it started to rain yesterday. I don't know what i am going to do to clear my head once the weather turns for good.
I have to say that I am shocked that my parents haven't said anything about Dale's. They must pass it on there way to PA. They go up 15 to 206 and over the Dingmans Bridge into Milford. They have to pass by it. When I talk to my mom today, I will have to ask her.

Trudy- good luck on selling your gym- we have one taken apart and collecting dust and rust in our basement too. Before I had kids, I was big into weight training. Wish I still was. Someday? ;)
It makes me so happy to see you and Nancy take care of each other with the stamps, I love my O-Fam! I hope that Nancy shares pics of them in her home too (hint, hint!) .
What did Mason think of the pumpkins and maze and animals?Bet he had a great time. It is sweet to hear how he plays with his barn on Skype with you and will be happy telling you all about the animals he saw IRL.

Jean- Ugh, computers! That is great that you were able to email your friend that article (1920s! That is so cool!) but really is so scary that she thought she had lost stuff on her computer. I think we all have BTDT! Thank goodness that it was able to get fixed!
I understand not being able to hold a telephoto lens either. My hands/joints are giving me fits most days and between the shaking and the weakness... i can't seems to get good shots.

Claire- ooooh how nice to have your 2016 vaca booked! Sooooo jealous! I need a vacation so much. I hate to say it but May will be here before we know it. Although, when it comes to a vacation and Spring, that might be a good thing!

Was your hubby ever able to get his files back last week?

Time to get running off... wish me luck and sanity that I make it through the day ok!

Good morning everyone
Chris it must be something in the air, because I have been feeling a bit flat this morning which is not like me at all. I think it is getting up when it is still dark.
Went to the hairdressers this morning just for a wash and blow dry which made me feel better, also the trees are turning at last so on Friday will take my camera when I go to the shops and get some photos, if it isnt too muddy will go down to the beck too and get some photos.
No he didnt get his files back- the restore somehow wiped his EHD where everything was, he got a new( reconditioned laptop) recently so everything was still on ehd from the 4 months he had no computer. He went on the flight simulator forum and it seems there is an update that stops it working on old machines, so now he has the flight simulator working, thankfully.
Sounds like Jaida did ok on her different commands which is good

I didnt have muppets and seasame street when i was young- before my time, but my robbie likes Muppets and i have been to the films with him. I donot have a favourite character though. There wasnot much kids TV when I was little, watch with mother Bill and Ben, Andy Pandy although we didnt really watch tv during the day. It was more things like crackerjack after school.

Morning O ladies... Foggy again this morning and I am up before the birds today. Ugh 4:30 is too early for anything to be awake especially me!! Oh well got hubby some steel cut oatmeal and sent him off to work. Just going to get my second cup of coffee and see how the rest of the morning goes. Perhaps a nap is in order later today! I am hoping to get a walk in the sun later on also.

Chris - Sorry that you have a bunch of grumps in your house! Must be the weather or the getting up when its still dark outside. Glad that at least Jaida is behaving a bit better for you! I have some Baileys in the cupboard... here let me slip some into your coffee for you!!
The two old guys on the muppets are Statler and Waldorf they are my DH's favourites too!! I love Beaker and the Swedish Chief !! Always made me laugh! Had to watch the Muppets and Sesame Street when the kids were growing up and my son is really good at imitating pretty much all of the characters. Gosh I miss my son, he always made me laugh!!

Claire - Sorry that you are also having a bout of the grumpies! What a nice treat to get your hair washed and a blow dry, must have made you feel a bit better at least! I do seem to remember Andy Pandy but do not know crackerjack?? It really is awful how much tv the kids watch today, its like the babysitter for the parents. Even worse is the amount of time the little ones spend watching videos on the iPhones or iPads. Get outside and play for goodness sake. Although for some like my DD it is hard to get out and do much especially in the winter. She does try to limit her son's screen time though.

Well ladies I have lots to do this morning, going to try and start my 2016 calendars today and then :washing: and
cleaning-smiley.gif
hope you all have a fabulous day!!

good morning - another late night - came home from another Devils loss. This one was maddening as the coach (I think messed up pretty badly) pulled the goalie with 3 min left in the game and the Devils on a power play and of course the Preds scored an empty net goal. My team did score but the final was a 3-1 loss. He said that "analytics" suggest more on people on the ice and you should score but of course not which team will score. Then came home with and watched the end of the Mets loss to the Dodgers. But the Cubs won so that is very exciting!

Chris hope your long day is not too long. Went food shopping yesterday and while it was fast it still was time consuming and it is not how I want my time used. So sorry everyone is feeling blah! It is such nice fall weather. Amazing that is how your parents go to PA. Dale's is a Market and a deli so unless you know about the wings or need food I can't imagine someone just stopping in. All I can say is all my boys love the wings. But I bet they are not hot enough for Scott.

Claire so fun to have vacations planned. I just found out the trips my NJ Devils will be making this year. And for me it will be two new arenas as they are going to Washington DC and to Philadelphia. They are just bus trips so will be easy in fact the Philly trip is not even overnight. Always fun to have something to look forward to.

Trudy sometimes I so miss having an excuse to go to a farm or to go find the perfect pumpkin. I know I could go even without a child but it so much more fun with little ones. My family really loves the stamps. And I am planning on framing I will take a photo when done.

Jean so glad you could help your friend. And computers are awesome but as with cars when they go on the fritz it is so annoying.

Have a great day all!
