Happy Wednesday! We are truckin' through October, aren't we?
I know the next few days here will be a blur, so much going on. buuuuuut.... if everything goes as planned in the next 24 hours, I should have some good news to share. *fingers, toes, eyes, legs-- everything--- crossed*

Scott didn't get to pick up the car yesterday. When they did the inspection, it needed new brakes, so he is getting it today. He is very excited. Very.
I helped Caitlyn organize the boxes of party supplies and decorations, she is totally on track for that. It will be awesome having Scott's truck for the party, he is going to have the biggest one with lots of trunk space. Hope he knows that he is driving on Sunday hahaha! Actually, I don't know if he is driving, Toms has an Xterra so most of the stuff will fit in that ;)
At a work event last week, Caitlyn had to do a "Human Bingo" icebreaker game. She thought that was so much fun and asked me to help her make up some of the Bingo Cards so the families and friends will be encouraged to talk to each other. They are going to have a raffle at the end. Whoever completes the cards can win a little plaque that she and Tom made for their new Etsy Shop. (opening soon, I think!)

I didn't really clean my office but I did rearrange some stuff so I can bring in the plants for the winter. I adore the lemon verbena. I could smell it all day long. Food shopping pick-up this morning and then I need to make a card for C&T and wrap their gift. Still battling this stupid headache blergh...

@BrightEyes sending ya hugs!!

@Cherylndesigns 4Runner is a full-size (?) SUV. After two CRVs, he knew he needed something that could fit all of the stuff he needs for camping and festivals. He is over the moon about the roof rack. I can't tell you how many times he has packed for camping and wished he had a roof rack.
Congrats on finding the stuff you needed under the beach towels, that wouldn't be a place on my radar. Thanks for understanding the "alone vibe." :D
Dinner sounds yummy and fun even if it took you a while to find a place that was open. My town is so darn small a lot of local places are only open Thurs-Sun. Unless it's one of our many, many pizzerias ha! What is a cheese cascadia and how do I get one?? I am imagining a huge mountain of melty, stretchy cheese. *drools*

@LSlycord Your description of the feeling of traveling with your parents, it warms my heart and soul- they must be enjoying seeing you and Brian too. I am so happy that you are seeing the leaves change- we have very little color up here, but I am guessing the mountains you are traveling through are much higher elevations that make the difference. So happy that you are getting pampered too

@tanteva eep-- I hope that you don't get sick again. Hope the chills are only from being tired.

@vickyday yup, that is what made me love that photo of you, I can imagine you grumbling about having to pose for it.
What a great day/afternoon/evening you three musketeers had together. Sounds like you can make an adventure out of anything :D
I hope that you got some good pics of the moon, I never have much luck with that.

Good morning. It’s a gray and rainy morning on the interstates this morning. We had a wonderful breakfast before leaving our hotel. They had 5 menu items. I selected the omelet with Brie, Black Forest Ham, asparagus and carmelized onions. There was a side of fruit and a slice of toast with homemade blackberry peach jam. Delicious.

Shaun texted a photo of his peanut butter toast with bacon and wanted me to note how perfectly cooked his bacon was.

And now it is going home day! We used to make fun of Dad. No stops planned for going home. It was get in the car and hold on because we were going home.

Yes, if Ilene is involved......well, fill in the blanks, LOL! She is a hoot!
I got a few pictures of the moon. One was through the trees because it was very low yet. A couple way up in the sky. I was hoping to get some with the clouds around it, but that was when it was behind the trees, drat the luck!

Good Morning,
Off to have lunch with Mark. But I will try to be back later. I have to do some shopping before I settle in to my computer. ;) We are having dinner at church before the services tonight so I need to get some things.

If I don't see you.....have a GREAT day!

Good morning ladies. Spent the first part of the day feeding, playing and cleaning up after the dogs. Then fed birds and now am going to go load some moon shots I took last night. They aren't great b/c for some reason my tripod was drifting, something wasn't tightening properly. But the shots will still be fun to scrap with. D is going to get a telescope for the 3rd floor balcony. We don't really know anything about them but hopefully we'll find a decent mid range one. Today I need to get some office papers organized. I need to find tax papers (never got around to filing this year yet). Hopefully our accountant in Vancouver can do everything remotely so we don't have to find someone locally. Next year we'll find someone local to do them that is cheaper.

@faerywings Glad Scott found what he wanted and it just needs new brakes. With his trips, having a roof rack will be so useful.

@LSlycord Your food sounds delicious. The peanut butter with bacon...maybe not.

@vickyday I was out last night getting photos of the moon too. I got some up in the sky surrounded by clouds and some where I was looking through the tree in our yard. It was fun.

Time to get another coffee, hop in the shower and get on with my day.

Hi all,

Chris @faerywings the 4 runner sounds perfect for Scott Linda @LSlycord that's cute that Shaun sent you a picture of his sandwich. Kids are happy with peanut butter, aren't they?

I'm not feeling well today - I think I'm fighting off something, but i think I'm going to take a mental/physical health day. If I'm extra quiet, that's why. I'm very upright and everything "is on my last nerve". I don't get this way very often and it means my immune system is in overdrive - usually.
