Happy hump day, ladies! Another cloudy-ish day here but I am not going to complain as another huge hurricane is going to be making landfall in Florida today. I am *very* grateful that my area has been spared but the southern/Gulf states haven't been so lucky over the last year.
To everyone in that area- be safe!

Yesterday was a day, nothing good, nothing horrible. More frustrations for Gary however. He got his new insulin pump yesterday but no supplies to go with it- you know the tubing and all that actually gets the insulin from the pump into his blood *eye roll* When he calls the company, they tell him that his insurance won't cover that part for another 2 weeks since they sent him supplies for his current pump. Then they renege on what they had told him that the supplies that he has here can be sent back and be applied as credit for the new ones. His contact person is-- of course-- on vacation this week. Never easy...
I didn't do anything else that stands out- food shopping and walking W were the highlights.

Today I am taking J to the vet. She had had a lot of redness between two of her toes and it isn't getting worse but it isn't getting better. Gary thinks he feels a bump there. It is going to be a $$ visit since I also need to get a bottle of her Dasaquin which is what helps maintain any cartilage she has in her knees. And I need to get more renal specialty food for Floyd. I had a dream last night that it only cost me $72 which is really funny because one bottle of Dasaquin is over $100. But how insane is it that I dream about bills and money? :pound:
I don't think that I am cleaning this afternoon since my friend has an electrician coming to his house this morning. I will probably be there tomorrow instead.

have a very happy day! ::grouphug

Rae- my friend, I hope that the transfer went well for all of you and that you were able to cope with the anxiety well. I bet you gave Taz lots of hugs while you waited for the news. I have every good thought for you that this hospital can help her and that she can be with you and Jen soon.
I thought that too about the boot- I always wonder about the shoes that I see on the sides of the road. The contrast of the nice boot with the garbage (looked like cigarettes butts?) was striking.
Hope you were able to find lots of warm and cozy scarves!

Trudy-- fine, go and brag about the sun! LOL
I can't think about Christmas gifts yet, but I did spend a lot of time on Pinterest and some aromatherapy sites checking out the new trends this season. Bubble cakes (hard cookies that bubble up in the tub) seem to be big and charcoal is also up there. I saw some cool Lush dupes that need black sugar but I am having a hard time trying to track down that at the different wholesale places that I shop. At least I am looking, that is the first step, right?
Good idea to not go to the pool and I hope that Heather had a great time with the family and that the boys are healthy again too.

Jean- we seem to get the weather that you have a day or so later but no sun in store this week. We might get a break in the clouds this afternoon according to weather.com so maybe we will?
I about freaked out the other day-- it still doesn't feel like it should be 2018 and we only have a few months left. :faint:

xoxoxo!!!

Have to go soon to the monthly genealogy group at the senior center. Seems to be another lovely day, but storms coming tonight and then much colder!

Chris, it is unbelievable that companies can't ever get things right like the pump supplies. Hope J is OK and the bill not too large.

Good hump day to all.

Good morning, ladies. Heard that B got settled into the ctr but was triggered and moody, to be expected though. Jen got a hotel room to stay out there until tomorrow night when we'll go out to see her and J will then go home.

I had to dig thru the boxes that are going to charity to see if an orange handle-less mug was in there and it was. Whew. I'll now be using it (bought it at David Tea yrs ago and never really used it). The arthritis in the finger has settle down but is still a bit sore and swollen so am not using that hand for picking up my coffee cup. So now I can rotate between a regular mug using my left hand and then sometimes using the other mug which I can pick up with either hand. I'll be on the lookout for another similar type of mug.

Chris - that really sucks about G's insulin stuff. I hope things get cleared up when that person gets back to work.

Trudy - no skytrain out to UBC so have to drive and the bus is about 2.5 hrs so not worth it.

Jean - enjoy the nice weather and your geneology mtg.

I'm getting out of here, I see that I'm getting work coming in from both docs today (it should only be one) but I'll do it b/c its a bit of extra money but means I'm super busy again today. Taz is off to daycare so I'll put my nose to the grindstone and work, work, work LOL

Hello girls,
sorry I'm totally disconnected from here! As long as stay away from here, my need from scrap decreases, I mean I have huge collection of kits and can scrap for myself whit it for years. Also my disappointment and frustration grows, especially after the new view point that Chris add to the subject.

Right now I saw I won this 52 month coupon code, but in this situation I don't need it or want it. Is this coupon is personal, or I can give it to other for who to be more useful and make her happy? I ask here because I don't feel right to take Rae's time with this subject. Few of you are Cherry O's, so I'm thankful if some can answer me.

I miss you friends and wish you all the best! :tea:
