GooOd morning, O-zies!
I am going to have to make this as quick as I can. All of my days keep getting mixed up and I am off to clean in a bit. I was supposed to be going tomorrow, but Scott's car needs to go into the shop tomorrow and he is working at the ecology center Thurs and Friday so he is going to need my car.
(Did I tell you that he was at the Center last week with a group of kids, trebuchet-ing pumpkins? He had a *blast!!!*)

Yesterday was one of the worst shopping trips I had in a long time. I was almost in tears halfway through because of the prices. My family is used to me saying that I won't buy it unless it is on sale or I have a coupon. But I get it, we have to eat either way. Cait was making tortilla soup for dinner and I had to get tortilla chips. I was shocked. Not only did they raise the price of the bags, but they also reduced the amount in it. It was half air! That was in Aisle Two. By Aisle Five, looking at a gallon of plain ol' bleach for $7, I am trying to figure how this is going to work within my budget. Seriously!!! We're just gonna have stinky clothes and dingy whites ;)

Everything else was just a bonkers kind of day but we had a yummy dinner with the soup and corn casserole. Cleaning this morning and then God only knows what this afternoon. Is it too early to go back to bed?

Wishing everyone a happy day!

Kay- were you able to sleep better last night? I had another 4 am wake-up so I understand. How funny that you were dreaming about scrapping and software problems. I hope that doesn't portend any problems.

@bcgal00 How is D doing? Hope his results are excellent. I am thinking that b-fast for dinner is a good idea here.
The t-shirt sounds adorable! That is how I am hoping to go too- smaller but more meaningful gifts

@taxed4ever Hopefully the rain will stop in time for the hike today, the fresh air will be nice if you can get it!
Did you say how many pieces you were painting for the Art Show? It is so exciting that you are doing it.
I will def. give Caitlyn the hugs for Imogene. Thx!

@Caro I wouldn't know what it is like to run five miles. Is it bad? Bwuahahah!!
Gary had a colonoscopy over the summer and he was fine afterward. But Caitlyn had minor surgery inMay and she was *funny* on the ride home. We were driving through a really swanky area and she was ranking the houses as Holy Cow/Holy Mackeral/Holy Macaroni *giggles*

@tanteva *fingers crossed that you report in with no coughing* How are you feeling, are you working today or tomorrow? Hope you are much better!

@Cherylndesigns It is really exciting that you all have things to sell at the shop together, you are going to have fun working with your girls! I have *no doubt* that Ava is going to do a fab job with marketing and social media.

@tjscraps Gah! So happy for you for the hot tub!! That is going to be wonderful!

hugs!

No work this week - good thing I don't miss any hours. Urban's been home all week, and I think there are more people at work sick as well. Really hit us this time. I'm feeling better today, but haven't slept enough, cuz I was watching TV too late, and woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep. At least I'm sitting by my puter & not with the phone struggling with autocorrect.

Really need to get some scrapping done & figure everything out. To be honest: I really don't like the theme of the month. Nothing wrong with it - but personally for me ... family is NOT a good topic. Especially since we can't use foul language LOL Need to do some twisting on that theme, and scrap some genealogy pages or something.

To be honest, I'm more into last months theme. I had an idea ... I'm thinking I should try and scrap some pages in A4 format. Then I can just print it on my own printer and just put into a binder & create a proper Book of Me. As it is now, all my layouts are just stuck on the EHD. We'll see, it's just an idea so far.

Will try and catch up ... not sure what I will do. I have FIVE pages of unread posts ... some of them really important ... and I guess I'll have to check everyone, so I don't miss anything important. Might be caught up sometime mid-december. LOL Probably missed lots of personal things here in the Daily O´s cuz I've really not kept up and read it all.

I'm not good at being sick. I get like a big grumpy toddler ... the most un-cheery person there is.

Morning ladies... just quickly here to say hello and then get ready for my hike. I decided to go because right now there is a small break in the weather and it should not be raining until later on in the day. I will wear my rain gear just in case though. So I hope that you all have a great Wednesday! I need to get my lunch and backpack all ready to go. Waving to you all!

@faerywings - All I can say is why are you still using bleach and other chemicals to clean??? Sending you this information to brighten your day LOL. https://theresourceca.norwex.com/wp-content/assets/specials/2021/10/files/22987_21_Factoids_ENG.pdf

Hahahaha Eva your meme makes me laugh, that is my 5 year old still, but not just when she's sick!

Busy days at work today and fighting Amazon with a return order - I didn't realize we ordered from a 3rd party vendor, through Amazon, and need to return the seatbelt extender we bought to that the 5 year old can plug her seat belt in easier. It isn't compatible with our car, so trying to do a return but they are making it difficult!!

Have a great day everyone!

@taxed4ever Have a good hike. Our rain is letting up for a bit this morning, hope your weather is ok for the hike.
@faerywings I know, here too, the price of everything is going up. We really noticed it on the wkend when food shopping. Here in Canada they said prices of some things would go up as high as 30% over the winter.
@tjscraps That sucks about the return problem. I always worry about things like that when I purchase online. What a hassle for you.

D is feeling ok, was starving by the time I got him home late yesterday afternoon (after not eating for about 45 hrs) and filled up on food throughout the night and then snoozed in his chair.

Today I'm doing the usual, CT work, desk work, getting the dogs out for a (hopefully dry-ish) walk at the park at lunchtime. I imagine it'll be a big mud pit so will need to get them in the tub when we get back.

Still editing a few photog sessions when I can in between everything else. I sure am longing for a few wks off work around Xmas time. I've been so busy lately.

I'm getting a coffee, getting the pup out for a minute and then buckling down to get some desk work done.

Been out already... had to get my driver's license renewed. Didn't realize we are suppose to make an appointment.. Yikes... Turns out no one was there so the gal let me in and I got it done. Whew... And my photo isn't too bad this time.

Can't believe I missed seeing the posts about November birthdays on Nov 1st chatter:
@mywisecraft "I’m the 21st…. You?"
@tantaeva "21st is my son's birthday too."
@tjscraps "Hahaha I'm the 27th, so Sagittarius!"

Mine is the 22th and DD#3's is the 26th and her 2nd son's is 17th! I say I am Sagittarius as it really fits my personality. Some have the 22nd as a Scorpio but it doesn't fit me near as well. LOL

Tomorrow is the trip to the base to pickup Rx refill and commissary shopping. Need to stock up again and dread seeing what the prices are up to by now. Gas took a big jump Monday. Yes, Chris... I noticed that prices for cleaning products are jumping back up to where they were when the pandemic first hit. Guess the latest jump in cases prompted the big increase in price for those products.

I have been digging into the freezer and pulling out meat with the earliest dates and using them first. Had a couple of packages that had to be pitched out... 2016 is a bit too old! They had been tucked under the much newer packages and I missed seeing them. Think I may see about getting a small turkey breast and canned cranberry for the holiday since we won't be having a family event.

@tanteva so sorry to hear that so many of the library workers have been sick, too. Hope you all get to feeling better soon.

@faerywings Yes, I did sleep much better last night and didn't wake up until 6:30. I ended up taking a nap yesterday afternoon, too... then fell asleep @9 PM.

@taxed4ever so sorry it has been raining when the hikes are scheduled. Don't blame you for not wanting to go when the weather is bad.

Time to get the laundry sorted and started. CYL

Good afternoon. My brain is all over the place today - stayed up way to late last night watching the election returns.

I need to get busy and get back on my roll. Ava was at the store really late last night - she made the cutest hang tags for her clothes and she was putting them on. Sitting right in the middle of her shop - on the floor - and we were facetiming. She's a riot! I was worried that she was there alone, but she assured me that the front door was locked AND she pulled her truck up against the door. LOL She could just barely get out the front door and into her truck. Her big order is supposed to be here next week, so I'll be attaching tags then.

It's crummy here again - I'm ready for spring. BWAHAHA

My sweet hubby drove to Walgreen's before I got up this morning and picked up 31 pictures for me. Guess what they were? LAST December's "December Daily" 4x6 layouts. No rush, here. I got a bee in my bonnet to get them printed and in my Traveler's Notebook BEFORE December 21. It's so much fun to look at my memories from last year.

Chris, sorry you had a bonkers day, but your soup sounds good. Adrienne brought us dinner last night - homemade chicken pot pie. It was SO good.

Signing off now. Hugs

Hahaha - every single thing I see about Sagittarius I think that is so NOT me. I don’t fit my sign at all.

I am happy to say that I am very much like my sign. I am born in the best sign of them all. The Zodiak's top notch: Pisces.
