Have you ever had a morning where you felt that there was not enough coffee in the world?
Of course, you have!
:cof2::cof2::cof2:

I actually slept like a rock last night which is not surprising after the day I had. I was up at 5 am, out the door at 8. Drs appt (went fine!), then hit the Dollar Store on the way home. That was irritating because there was a woman in the aisle next to me, throughout the entire store whistling Christmas songs. I usually don't mind people who whistle a bit since I feel that it must mean that you are happy, but this was :frusty:
My Dr said that she wasn't worried about the MRI results but said I still need my mammo in Feb, and the next MRI in April. Plus she gave me an Rx for my bone density scan since I am overdue for that. That I would like to get done before the end of the year when my insurance coverage resets and I have to hit my deductible again.

Question for my non-US Ooo's- With your insurance, do you have deductibles and co-pays and all that? It is always rough the first several months for me when you have to pay 100% of the bill until you hit your deductible. I always look for a plan with a low deductible for that reason.

I didn't find much at the dollar store, just a couple of things for Cait's stocking. I also got a couple of pack of hand and toe warmers for Scott. He is going back to work on Fridays for the Christmas Tree season. He will get cold but he will get paid well. I think that most people tip the workers who wrap the trees too so I think he will get that too. I know that is a huge weight off of his shoulders, knowing he will have a small income again.

I got home, and wrapped up a few things that I had made the previous day- the shower steamers smelled really good and when I washed the mold out, the crumbs fizzed perfectly! It is the little things that make me happy. I made a second batch of them with a blend of lavender and geranium rose. I will unmold them today and get those wrapped and move onto a third batch.

I took Whisky to the vet. Since she was having diarrhea and has lost her appetite, they wanted to see her. She is on some meds to calm the GI tract and back on her white rice and boiled chicken diet for a while. If you see me on FB that's what my b/w photo was. *wink*
By the time I finished that, did the dishes, cleaned up the F-W's things, I was dead on my feet.
Scott was getting ready to go to Leah's for the night and took one look at me and said that I didn't look good. (Thanks, dude... :mmph:  ) I was about to start dinner and he gave me $20 to order pizza. I didn't have it and I didn't want to take it from him, but he looked upset at how tired I looked. I ended up taking it and was *very* happy that I didn't have to cook. I raised great kids.

Since I didn't have to cook, I decide to start a 12 days of Christmas Promo for the Open House. I am going to take pictures of some of the things I am selling so people can see and hopefully show up and buy them :)

That was my day yesterday. See why I needed so much coffee??
:cofbath:

Today will be quiet in the morning, some F-W's things and then cleaning for my neighbor in the afternoon. I honestly can't believe that tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I have to make a sweet potato and apple bake so I might boil the potatoes today so all I have to do is slice and back tomorrow. I might double the recipe since Cait loves it and I can keep a little bit home for her.

May all of you have a calm, peaceful, and productive day. (I say that mostly directed at myself hahaha!!!!)

Sorry that I never made it back for personals yesterday.

But here goes for today.

Nancy- it never got that warm here but the sun was out and it was less windy here so that was nice-ish. Oh, your game sounds like it was exciting! To win in OT against a team you hate-- love that!
I can only imagine how happy Luther must be with your DH home. Is he off until Monday?

Trudy- Your walk sounds like it was exhilarating watching the birds. There was some large bird doing the same thing when I was outside the other day. Crazy watching them just rolling along with the wind currents.
Did you take any photos of the Nativity as you are painting it? Gary cut one wine holder for me to paint, Yay!! (when am I going to do that??? I will find time, though)
The vet isn't sure that it is Giardia since she recently finished her treatment and it is too early to check a stool sample. But yeah, it is hard to get rid of.

thank you for the support of the F-W's stuff. All of you people who have been listening to me stress over these things every darn year-- it all comes together at the end, right?? Keep reminding me of that, please.

jean- I am going to have to go back and see what project you are working on. Hope that your day was successful with it.

Rae- stop it with the clothing karma! I have the worst luck shopping. I am also going to have to go back to setting reminders to do yoga. My dr wasn't happy that I don't exercise at all esp with my bone density issues. It is so hard to get motivated to eat right and exercise this time of year. My every instinct is to hibernate.

Felis- See, this is another reason why I need all of you I stopped taking magnesium a while ago. Lyme bacteria eats that up so many of us Lyme patients have deficiencies. I go through these spots where I can't stand taking one more pill so I try to pick a supplement that is less needed and ignore that one for a while. The Mg has been out of the rotation for too long.
I am so sorry to hear that you have been having nightmares. I understand that all too well :(
I always worry about the strays in the cold too. one of the nicest things about my town is that we are very animal-friendly among the many different rescue groups in the area and that we have a no-kill shelter. Yes, I adore my vet and office. While I was there with W, several of the techs came up to chat and joke with me. They asked about the rats and the one woman is still trying to get Cait and me to adopt a cat that they have. The therapy dog O'Malley was there and he was loving on me too. That dog is the best. He is a sweet golden retriever and is so soft and fluffy you just want to snuggle him non-stop. LOL

Good for you for already preparing for a festive Friday!!! :cheer2:

Scott *loved* his exersaucer. He rocked and rolled in it non-stop! Caitlyn heated it since it put a lot of pressure on her stomach and it made her reflux act up. Are you looking for one for the house, Trudy? How many days until they come?? So exciting!

Enjoy the Flash Sales!

good morning - yesterday was fun as it was a hair cut and color day. And my son was awesome he came home and said wow mom you look good. My DH who knew where I went did not even say anything when I got home. I love that kid he always has noticed and makes me smile. Found out this am that one of my Luther pages got selected as a Gallery Standout. That really makes me smile but with Luther as my subject makes it easy. He is such a pretty dog! Funny she selected the one where in the title I wrote Tucker not Tuckered. Today will be fun but busy. I am going to prepare my salad for next tomorrow. Cook dinner before the hockey game. But the best is that after the game I donated money to The Devils care foundation as part of hockey fights cancer so we get to have our photo taken with Adam Henrique. My son really likes him and he smart and good looking. No walk for Luther for a while as it is raining but it will clear up and he can get out later.

Chris wow what a day. Glad your doctor is not worried so don't you worry. Your products sound amazing and sounds like it is going well. You do have a great son to give you money for pizza! Rest and have fun today!

Trudy I am so jealous that you saw so many eagles. I get so excited when I see just one. I hope the rain ends soon. Tell your main guy that I will cheer for Boston once tonight's game is over. But this is one of those scary games as my team is just back from a long road trip and Boston is waiting.

Rae you and your shopping karma is just amazing. I think I may have said this before but my sister and her daughter do the same thing. They go to lots of resale stores and always find something.

Felis sorry you are having nightmares. Last night I dreamed that some one blew up the moon and we had to go find the bunker so we could survive. LOL I have no idea where that came from. Hope your nightmares end soon.

Jean hope things are going well!

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Dropped Taz off at daycare and will be sure to keep on top of work today b/c I'll be leaving tomorrow at 2:00 so will be off work 1.5 days this wk. I want to get as much done as I can before I leave to lighten the load that'll be waiting for me when I return. I'll probably do a bit of desk work on Sunday when I'm back b/c I know Monday will be a nightmare of backlog. But its all worth it, I love my Black Friday shopping. I manage to do at least half my Xmas shopping in one evening. So not sure how our internet will be, I may be offline for a bit but will be back home probably Sat evening. The plan is to shop Thurs/Friday and then close up the trailer for the season on Saturday. Hopefully there won't be any surprises at the trailer for D when he arrives Thurs night. I'll be driving into Bellingham earlier so he'll take Taz and head to the trailer in the evening. Last year we both went to the trailer first before I headed into town for shopping and it was terrible finding that rodents had chewed thru the water lines and the water was spouting all over the place. What a mess. Luckily D was able to replace the line but it was a messy couple of hours to get it done and lots of water to clean up. Fingers crossed this time is ok.

I want to get my 52 Inspirations challenge done up today. I won't be scrapping while away. I have lots of chores and errands to do today so other than getting my challenge done, I'll be off the computer quite a bit.

I had talked to Jen about maybe changing things up for Xmas this year. I didn't want to make the traditional turkey like I always do so maybe some other dishes. Then I saw on Rachael Ray this week, 2 recipes that would be perfect and still involves a turkey so I think that will make Jen and Darrell happy. Instead of stuffing the turkey I'm going to put herbs, orange slices and bourbon in the cavity. The recipe from RR is stuffing made with squash, sausage, apples and cranberries and I will make a traditional stuffing for them. Both of these I can make the day before. Then I found a paleo-friendly drink to use some of the bourbon with over the Xmas holiday...coconut chai hot toddy....yum! I've got my recipes printed out and it feels good to have one part of my holiday prep planned now.

Chris - glad you didn't get any bad MRI news. So sweet that S gave you the money for pizza (your kids are so great).

Nancy - I saw your page, it is gorgeous and well deserved GSO for it.

Trudy and Jean....hope you are both well.

I'm heading to work now. Have a great day, everyone.

Good late morning ladies! It is another very wet :rain: day here today. I am very later getting in here this morning. Had a wonderful sleep and slept in until 8am! :bliss: I was busy most of the morning facetimeing with Heather and getting a winter coat ordered for her, she didn't have enough room on her visa to do it so I ordered it for her and she will pay for it later. I was happy to do it for her, she needs a warm winter coat. After I did that I was thinking that I don't even have a warm winter coat LOL. I never really seem to need one living here, it really doesn't seem to get that cold here in the winter. I don't ski or anything, so I really have no use for one. I have lots of really warm sweaters and hoodies etc, but no winter coat :becky: I still own the one I had in Saskatchewan, its old, but its really warm and I think I have only ever put it on once when DH and I went for a walk in the snow last year. Enough about that :tape: I got in 30 laps at the pool yesterday and although it was busier than it has been lately, it still was not too bad and I had a lane all to myself and only a couple of people in the change room afterwards. Then I got the second coat of paint on the project I was working on and now I just need to put on the varnish and I will post the before and after pics when it is all done. A bit more painting on the nativity today and other than that not much happening around here.

Chris - No wonder you had such a good sleep, you were one busy little faery yesterday! Glad that the Vet got some meds for W, hope it takes care of her tummy issues! also happy that the MRI results were nothing to worry about, that is wonderful! Sorry that the lady in the $ store irritated you so much, it was probably distracting you trying to find something that you wanted LOL and besides its too early to start whistling Christmas tunes! Yes the excersaucer is for our house while Hunter is here, he started using the one that he has at their house and Heather says he loves it. The countdown is on for Heather's arrival and it will be 24 more days until she arrives, we can hardly wait!

Nancy - How nice that your son notices when you get your hair done! My DH comments on how nice it looks when I get mine done, he doesn't like it when I have the gray in my hair, I guess he doesn't want to be with an old gray woman LOL. I am going to check out your fab page that got picked for a GSO! Congrats!! But then I love all of your pages!! Another wonderful night of hockey for you, it will be fun to have your photos taken! Thanks for cheering for our Bruins (after tonights game of course) The way they have been playing lately I don't think you have anything to worry about with tonights game LOL.

Rae - OMG I forgot that you are a big Black Friday Shopper, have fun hitting all the stores! You have way more shopping energy than I could ever hope to have! I will do most of my Black Friday shopping online and avoid the crowds. Good luck with your shopping! But then you have the best shopping Karma so you will do just fine I am sure! Hopefully all is well at the trailer and there will be no big issues when you are closing it up for the season! I saw those RR recipes and thought that they looked so good! Let me know how it all turns out. Did you see how she does her turkey? She takes the spine out of the turkey and lays it flat, that way it only takes about 2 hours to cook a 15 pound turkey!! Amazing!!

:hello: to you Jean and Felis I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!!

Off to the shower and get downtown to find the varnish I need. Enjoy the day everyone!

I'm misunderstood yesterday and the Flash sale will be only 3 days, but still is so awesome! I'm excited and got few kits which hope to give me push to scrap, because my inspiration is so low this month.
The Life continue to put me at front of challenges, but I can't share details yet. I need some time to clear my mind. Ouch!

Chris, our health system is different. We pay every month one amount which gives you right in case of need to be hospitalized if you aren't paid more than 3 months have interest rates and also you have right only to emergency or in private institution. If you pay regularly, this give you big discount from the prices, but again depends on the seriousness of the case, it's can be 30 or 70% of the amount. To can use this discount is necessary your own general practitioner doctor (who you are chosen at special document), to give you special document for visiting specialist or prescription for pills. Problem is when she/he decided that your case is not emergency, she can to refuses you and if you still feel need will have to pay full price.
Great that the visit for your MRI results was like you expected! Now you can to forget this till your next visit at Feb. Whisky will be fine too, just be patient. So wonderful that they are kindly at the vet office! I'm friend with our vet too, but I'm afraid that she just don't have enough facilities, no one in my town don't have. At many cases have to go to the capital, and even then, half of the cases are unsuccessful  . In many towns also don't have shelters, so we work on a program ''Catch and go'', non aggressive dogs are castrated, vaccinated, marked and put back on a street. Sick animals are transported to the the nearest town with shelter and if no one adopts them for the retention period (different at different towns) euthanized. With the cats works different volunteers foundations.
You are had very busy day yesterday, and hope tomorrow be more festive and frivolous.

Nancy, your son is real gentleman, so sweet! I hope soon to see your new hairstyle on some LO from the fan meetings! You are had such a strange dream, indeed! I have one favorite scene of the book "One" with the bunker, very impressed me how they tried illegal to put their cat in, so she also to survive. It was very short, but is one of just a few things that I remember from this book. I'm also so pleased when been chosen for Gallery Standout. Too often I feel like my pages aren't good enough and GSO give me inspiration to not quit. I think they kindly ignores spelling, because knows that many of us are non English.

Rae, fingers crossed everything in the trailer to be fine this year! I'm so curious to hear your Black Friday shopping successes. Will be something epic, I'm sure!

Trudy, I will try to get one warm winter coat for me too at Black Friday and my parents will give it to me for a present. Unlike you I have one, but it's already too old (five or more years), it still looks good, so I don't have another excuse to wants new, except that they offered me this idea. I wait to see the project's photos :) .

Jean, looks like you're busy today too, but hope with funny things!

Because I'm from the last who write these days, I want today to wish you to have wonderful Thanksgiving day! And to be more with you family and less in a kitchen!:juggle::hungry:

Starting late today and everything seems a distraction. But it'll be a good day and evening. Tomorrow we'll roast a small bird and watch football I think.

Chris, wow! you sure were busy. We're all happy the MRI doesn't require any follow up beyond the norm. And Scott! He's super to be so observant and able to put his foot down to help. Hope today isn't too tiring, but as long as you're producing F-W products, it isn't likely. Especially with cleaning this afternoon. Hope you get a good sleep again.

Nancy, another one with an observant son! I know the hockey game and getting the photo will be great. Congrats on the Luther page. All the ones you did of him were super, but especially liked the beach ones.

Rae, you will undoubtedly have super Black Friday shopping, but good luck anyway. I hate crowds and any shopping I do now will be online. Sure hope all is well at the trailer for closing it up. How nice to find those RR recipes and be able to please everyone.

Trudy, your eagle and TV sightings sound extraordinary! Would have loved to see them all. Here Bald Eagles have gone from almost none to being fairly common near Lake Erie, but not seen in numbers like that. Your projects and painting sound intriguing. Looking forward to the photos. I can hardly imagine not needing a winter coat though I haven't had to wear one much yet this fall.

Felis, uh-oh, sounds like you're dealing with some more difficulties. So sorry to hear that. Wishing you better feelings soon! Glad you got in on flash sales and hope it helps with scrapping. I'm way behind on that myself.

Hope it is a good day tomorrow for all and happy Thanksgiving in the US.
