I think all of my happiness of the last few days wore me out. I am not miserable, just overwhelmed. I am trying harder to ask for help but I am not getting anywhere. I guess I need to lower my expectations. /snark
I was in a tizzy yesterday because I hate going food shopping (*insert shocked face* ) I hate being on a budget and I hate trying to work around everyone's schedules and food preferences. I end up shrugging and saying "whatever" but then I wake up in a panic and start my day wondering what I am going to cook for dinner.
I survived the store yesterday and it is starting to look better and better. Not having cramped aisles will be a blessing, especially when I am those moods where I get :yell: when people park their carts in the middle of the aisle.
But you all know how I am not good with change? The entrance is on the opposite side of the store so I had to shop in reverse! :gaah:
My other tizzy fit was over Mother's Day. we were supposed to be celebrating Mother's Day as part of the June Bash. Then my mom asked if she could bring bagels, and then I invited Arlene so she wouldn't be alone. Gary seemed a bit insulted that I didn't ask his parents so he invited them. Now I need to make gifts and cards for 3 of the moms and I don't really know what I am going to do. I stopped at the Thrift Shop and found three glass vases and I am going to paint and decorate them but I need to get the supplies to do that.
Which brings me to a third semi-tizzy fit. Cait needs two front tires and possibly an alignment. I am driving her to school today since Gary thinks they are that bad. She can't take my car since the school has that *ridiculous* policy where she can't park in the lot without the sticker. It is the last day that she needs to be there, thank goodness. So I will drive her in, head over to the Dollar Store from there and pick her up when her final is over.
It is all good. Right????
So, yeah. Not quite sure where my day went since I don't think I was in one place for too long. I am trying to stay away from the news since it is all bad.
Scott starts the volunteer spot today and he had an interview at a garden center near his school yesterday. Cait is babysitting every day this week so at least she will be able to cover the cost of her tires.
But it is spring and sunny and maybe I will say screw it and spent the afternoon outside. I better post this so I will be ready when Cait has to leave for school.
xoxoxo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
