Please tell me that I am going to make it to the party on Saturday in one piece. I feel like I am running on empty. Any wonder why?

Here are my complaints so I can get it all out before I try to put on my optimism face:
1. ShopRite sucks!!!! Iknow that I say that every week, but this time had to have been the worst. Construction is still going on but the aisles that are completed make no sense. They have dairy/frozen/deli scattered throughout the store. The frozen/refrigerated cases have the humidity levels messed up because there was so much condensation on the doors you couldn't see inside of them. By the time I got online I was so numb i to it all and I know that I was not the only customer walking around in a daze.

2. Hmm, I guess that was my only complaint from yesterday. Nice!!

I do have 2 concerns... one is about Floyd. He is eating his dry food but not touching the canned stuff at all. He is hiding a lot and I woke up in the middle of the night in a panic over that. It took me a long time to get back to sleep after that.

My other concern is about Caitlyn. She has a hemangioma on her face that will not stop bleeding. We have an appt with the dermatologist tomorrow. They can be aggravated by Bartonella but I still have heard back from the Lyme dr for final diagnoses. Her old Lyme Dr would check that spot out every visit but now that it has grown and bleeds profusely, I am worried.

The weather was gorgeous- We ran over to the only garden center around in the afternoon and picked out some tomatoes, cucumbers, rosemary, and basil. I also grabbed a buy one, get one of flowers to put in a hanging basket. I potted up the herbs and flowers but I am not sure where the veggies should go. I need Scott for that.

I finished my card/photo for Gary and I think he liked it, even though I don't think he was surprised at all. But he pretended to be surprised and that counts. :)

I am cleaning today. Scrapping this afternoon?? I hope so!

I am back- took me a while. I heard Floyd meowing so I went upstairs to check on him and brought him some fresh food. Cuddled with him a bit. He ate a couple of bites of the wet food. Today he needs fluids so maybe that will perk him up a bit. Then the dogs needed to go outside. Nope- scratch that- they *wanted* to go outside to sniff around, nothing more than that. W at least peed earlier this morning, She had another accident in the house yesterday. I know that she needs work, and we are not giving up on her but gosh, it stinks when she regresses like this. Yup, I adore my pets. Good thing, right?
Nancy- it did get hot! I loved it even though no one else n my family was too happy. Sounds like you and DS had a blast watching the game together. I hope that the reffing gets better.
Trudy- the temps dropped overnight and I didn't want to get out of bed this morning since the ceiling fan was making me cold. I think we should see some sun later on, and I am sending that good weather to you for your hike today. Great idea to being your EDH and plan to scrap while the kids are in school.
Awww! I hope that you get to scrap that picture of Hnter int he tub. One fun thing as I was going through old pictures for the card is seeing pics of my babies when they were actual babies LOL

Oh wow, Jean! 93* this time of year is hot. We were in the upper 80's yesterday. Gary would be miserable it is was over 90. I don't follow sports but will be rooting for the Cavs along with you, just as I am for the Golden Knights for Nancy and Trudy. I agree with you about how well Felis types in English. She is more fluent than I am most days.
Maybe I will upload the photo that I made for Gary even though it is a mis-match of a template and random papers.

Felis- is your internet back up today? Enjoy your time outside!!!

Hello girls,
as I said (early ;) ) in my yesterday post we have some problems with the internet connection whole day. Which is strange, because usually its typical for bad weather, but now it is SO hot! And with this hot weather have to fix my pedicure again. Yesterday we finally could start to mow, and I'm half ready with my part, but today will let dad to do his, because I have other tasks in my list. Hope to put the scrap somewhere too, because this month I wasn't organised enough in my pages order. Same old same old.

Jean, This is too bad about the humid nights. Here summer nights are chilly and very nice. In some of of the previous summers I was changed my schedule to be more active at night and then take a nap at the hot afternoons. Oh, do you have interest at some of these upcoming sport seasons or it was baseball only?!

Trudy, the soccer page is absolutely ADORABLE! So cute! It's will be great if you can scrap till you are with the kids. I admire how most of you can scrap till do other things at the same time. I need absolute concentration, no people around me or TV, only quiet music and peace when I scrap or read. That's why I'm limited only to the late night an early morning. Right now I have ideas for about 6 pages, but no time. I hope that you'll have chance to meet your old girlfriend, I'm sure it will be nice!

Nancy, always love to watch how seriously you and your son takes the cheering even when you are at home. French Open is Roland-Garros if I'm got it right. We of course will follow the success of Grigor Dimitrov but from the charts ;) .

Chris, your Tuesday, it sounded as cute romantic day, with these gifts and diner. I'm so happy for you!Your new gardening project is exciting! Do you planting vegetables аt raised-bed as at UK or directly groove as here?
Oh, how worrying about Caitlyn! I strongly hope it's just a skin problem, without to be connected with some of the others seriously condition! Poor Floyd, hug him strongly from me!

Rae, .

Have a lovely and sunny day girls!

good morning - it is another cloudy cool day after a warm day yesterday. Hockey is back tonight and excited. The most fun is knowing that even if the Caps score the Knights seem to score less than 2 min later. I was listening to Cory Perry of the Ducks talk about being physical against the Knights and he said "yes you want to hit them but it is hard to hit something going 100 mph" Made me laugh. I have errands that must be accomplished today- some bills must be paid, airline fights to see if I can find some cheap ones, grocery store and then to take Luther to vet for vaccine updates. But then luckily I am going out for dinner. Yesterday I made another Chinese take out dinner. Chicken with pea pods and sweet peppers with a yummy sauce and one hot pepper. I was supposed to take out the hot pepper but I could not find them as it was this tiny pepper. Well I warned the boys to be on the look out but I think my DH ate it and I felt bad but I found the other one and did not eat it. No left overs so that is great! It was so nice after dinner the boys went out with Luther to play fetch.

Chris sure hope that Floyd feels better after his fluids. Sorry that W keeps have accidents. And what a crack up you post appeared twice again. Not the first one but the second one. I hope they can figure out how to make the bleeding stop. It would worry me too but I am sure the doctor will figure it out. Moms always worry! And you will be good for the party!

Felis yes Roland-Garros we call French Open. In fact Grigor is playing now against an American Donaldson. My DH and I played tennis when we were younger and so I still enjoy watching these tournaments and imagining a serve at 100 mph or higher. Glad that your internet is better. Enjoy the warm weather and outdoor times.

Trudy sounds like you will be busy during your time with the grandkids. Have fun scrapping. And it will be nice to see an old friend. Hope weather today is good for the hike.

Jean wow that was hot. Enjoy the cool weather coming your way. Yes I saw that the basketball finals is the same for the past 4 years. I am always impressed by Lebron but I have never been a basketball fan. I don't watch golf either. For me next will be the Tour de France and Wimbledon. LOL. Amazingly enough the Yankees took 2 or 3 from the Astros. Last night the Yankees committed 5 errors and still came back to win in the bottom of the 10 after tying in the bottom of the 9th. Shocking really but then there are the Mets which are continually finding ways to lose. Glad you have worked out things with the SIL. Never easy.

Have a great day all!

Good Morning everyone... a quick post for me today as I am running late and I need to get ready for my hike today. So far a nice sunny morning, but it is cool so I think it will be a long pants day today. :mmph: just when I was getting used to wearing my shorts and no sleeve tops.

Chris - It looks like weird things are happening as your post is showing up twice again LOL. I hope that your day of cleaning goes well! Yes I am looking forward to doing that page of Hunter and his beautiful smiling face, wish I had more time before I go to the grands. I won't be scrapping but working on a photo book of my hikes. Sadly my photoshop doesn't work on Jackies computer.

Sorry ladies I have to get going and will catch up with you soon!

Good morning, ladies. Taz is off to daycare today so I will work and get a few chores done around the house. Hopefully I will get a chance to check my wacom tablet in the LR and see if I can re-install the driver and get it working. If not, I'll need a new one.

Had a good visit with B yesterday. She's enjoying watching the movies. They have assessed her at about 25% function right now so we hope that over the next month there is improvement with the next round of IV pulse treatment. She can now make her own tea in the microwave so I brought her up some flavored tea bags and a cute mug.

Chris - I wish you had more shopping available in your area, how frustrating for you. I take it for granted that I have 4 major grocery stores within a 5 min drive and I am complaining about one of them closing next month. I should stop and remember how lucky we are to have those choices nearby. Glad that C is going to the dermatologist tomorrow. Hope she is ok.

Felis - hope the internet is working ok now. I too need to scrap, get my CT work done. It's hard when I don't have time or feel motivated but I keep trying to push myself b/c it is too easy now to let things slide and I don't want to let go of digi scrapping.

Nancy - I really need to look at Chinese food recipes I can make at home. I miss our local take-out foods. Taz just got his vaccines yesterday. Now they want to deep clean his teeth. It never ends LOL. Poor Taz, he loves to go into the waiting room but then when I take him towards one of the examining rooms, he puts the brakes on and tries to resist.

Trudy - Enjoy the hike today. Should be a good day for it, not too hot but clear skies.

Jean and everyone else - hope all is well.

I've got to get to work. Have a great day, everyone.
