Happy Wednesday to my O-Fam!
Is anyone out there as sleepy as I am? zzzzzz.....
Have I ever told you how much insomnia sucks? LOL And why is it that you finally fall into a deep sleep right before the alarm goes goes off? Why??

I am so excited, I get to meet my BFF for coffee this afternoon- its going to be an iced coffee for sure. Gotta love NJ humidity. 94%! One of the good/bad things about curly hair- there is no point in doing anything other than a pony tail when the weather is like this.

So the anniversary was nice.... we held hands while we watched TV hahahahah!!! Talk about true love! <3

I wish I wasn't in so much pain.
I want my scrap mojo back! Actually, I'll take any kind of mojo back.
I wish I could have just enough money to do want I wanted/need to do without worrying all of the time.
And I wish that Gary could find a good phone plane for all of us that didn';t cost an arm and a leg and we all could have phones that work.
 
Laurie- we had some crazy t-storms last night, did you?

Phyllis- I feel your pain- the animals just seem to know exactly where they are not supposed to mess..... I am off to the food store today, Tuesday is the Seniors drop off morning, so I try to get there early if I have to go then. Today should be ok. *fingers crossed*

kristy- wow! That was a busy weekend!!! Hope the rest of your week is calm!

Trudy- hope that you were able to get everything done that you needed to do yesterday!

Oh Clara.... I hope that you can work something out to either keep your dog or find a good home for him.

morning O fam! Chris- we did not get any storms y'day, but where I used to live got slammed. We need rain. It is the memorial tournament in Columbus and it usually rains then- hoping this year it does- we could use it. I got my walk in, now to get ready to work- Guess what- work computer connected at home last night- happy and grrr at the same time!
 
Morning all...

After almost a week back, I feel as if I'm finally back in the 'normal' routine. The garden is still a disaster with rampant vines and weeds having taken over while we were gone. But not today...we are supposed to have rain, so all I may do is pull some of the wretched mutant vines.

Back later for personals after I catch up with a week's reading!
 
One of the good/bad things about curly hair- there is no point in doing anything other than a pony tail when the weather is like this.

i WANT SOME CURLS!!! Chris, i have the straightest hair ever invented. it comes from my paternal Grandfather's genes, i think. the Steppes of The Stans on the borders of Asia. i can't get any curl to stay in my hair, no matter what. unless it's a permanent. then in about 2 weeks i have curly ends and poker straight roots!

wow. i slept over 8 hours last night. fell asleep in the recliner for about 2 hours, then went to bed and woke up at 6:30. i still feel like crap, but my body must have benefitted somehow from the extra ZZZZZZZs. Chris, hope your insomnia gets better. there's nothing worse than having to face a day tired and in pain.

Laurie. but of COURSE the computer is linking now. just don't try to figure out WHY! the illogic of these machines can drive you crazy.

TG it's only going to be in the 70s today. and it rained a MONSOON yesterday for a little while, so i don't have to water anything today. i'm trying to figure out whether i'm getting poison ivy from weedwacking the other day. i hope these little random bumps aren't going to get worse. i had poison ivy ONCE in my life, a few years ago, and it wasn't pretty! ticks, mosquitos, poison ivy. Mother Nature is NASTY! :evil2:

We had a huge storm yesterday evening and boy am I paying...it's all damp and I ache!!

And YES Chris..the hair....I have curly...very very fuzzy hair....it's wild in this weather!! It's a mess in the humidity!!!! It's a mess most of the time...I have to use a lot of heat to tame it down. and yes...insomnia does suck...it's all part of that M stuff!! YUCK!! I think I have passed that part, after three years of it....I sleep good now....well, when children allow....and YAY on the hand holding...I think it's perfect for the anniversary!! :)


Laurie...we have had plenty of rain here..which is unusual...I hope you do get some!!


Maureen...no worries over the vines and weeds...they aren't going anywhere :bolt: no...you will get to them....


Phyllis...be careful what you wish for...you could have curls and all the frizz that goes with them like I do...UUGGHH!! and I hope you don't have PI!! I agree Mother Nature sucks big!! I am no fan of the outdoors....I spray my house once a month to keep her out.....As much as I love sitting in the spring or fall in the beautiful weather....I usually get chased back in by the nasty!!!


I think I am headed to my Mom's in a bit...My uncle from Colorado is in and he leaves today at 3....he told my Dad to tell me to get over there..so I guess I will....just feel so bad today, it's hard to get going. I haven't seen him in years...but he really pissed me off years ago...he is my Mom's brother...his daughter has the same disorder as Traci and is really messed up...he sent her out to live with my grandmother for bit, thinking it might help her...and she and her husband were both on drugs...long story....messy one....but the short version, she hocked some jewelry for drug money and then accused my Mom and her sisters of stealing it and he believed his daughter and it caused a big scene....Knowing how his daughter was, it was just a bad scene....so I lost all respect for him...even though he finally kissed and made up with my Mom when her two sisters passed away, I still don't really care for him that much. I am usually a forgive and forget type of person, but this was really a big deal and caused a lot of pain and ruckus....so it's just one of those things that won't go away completely in my mind.....but...I guess I will do the right thing and go visit for a few minutes....Always loved him to pieces when I was a kid!!

Nana, this changeable weather makes me feel like crap, too. hope you feel better as the day progresses. and on top of this you have to make nice with someone who doesn't really deserve "nice." good luck.
 
Morning friends... :rain: here today too, but not a downpour. Well yesterday went nothing like I had planned. It took me almost all day to do one layout for one of the challenges next month WTH?? What happened to my mojo?? I spent so much time trying to figure out what I wanted to have on this page and then one of the elements I wanted to use would not open into my photoshop, for some reason the file was corrupt or something, so I spent major time trying to figure that out. Never did gave up and now I have to find out when I bought the kit so I can redownload it. :rant:
So I decided to head out to get my bloodwork done and everyone and their dog decided to do the same thing! Major wait for that, that never happens, the lab girls couldn't believe it either. :noidea: Decided to go have a cup of coffee with my sister after that. Got home tried to do another page, then my DD called having trouble with her computer, so had to help with that. So much for my quiet day of just scrapping. Oh well, thats the way it goes sometimes I guess. MG and I went for an hour long walk after supper, it was nice to be outside and get some much needed excercise! Today I am off to work from 9-3 hopefully an uneventful day at work.

Chris - My wish for you today is that you get some much needed sleep and your pain disappears!! :hug: If you find some mojo, could you share with me please??

Laurie - Of course your computer worked last night, Murphy's law my friend!! Go figure.

Maureen - Hope you get some vines pulled today! But like Nana says they will still be there tomorrow, so I wouldn't worry about it!

Phylis - Wow 8 hrs of sleep?? That must be like a record for you! You really don't want curly hair! You would spend all day trying to straighten it!! Mine is not so much curly as wavy and it goes all frizzy in the humidity. I have to use a straightener on it everyday! When I was young I used to use the clothes iron on it LOL. Sure hope that you did not get poison ivy. We don't have that here, but I hear its a real b*#ch!!

Nana Linda - Hi Sweetie!! :wave: long time no see!! Sorry you are all achy, darn it sucks to get like that!! I hope your visit goes well! Not a nice thing, to have to be pleasant to someone that does not deserve it for sure! You are the better person for doing it though! So nice to see you here again! Hope your day goes well ! :hug:

Trudy, why not make a page about your weird, unexpected, uncooperative day?! (hahaaa...see my latest page....) sounds like you had enough happening yesterday to make TWO pages. i know you'll find your mojo soon.
 
Ahhhh Trudy......I hear you on the quiet day being spoiled....WHEN and that is a big word WHEN..I am suppose to get a quiet day....it usually gets spoiled by something....my mojo has been crap too....I think it's mostly from lack of time to scrap....I used to scrap two three pages every single day....I have only scrapped about 10 pages this whole month and most of those have been the past 3 or 4 days. I tried to scrap the end of last week and it took me 5 days to do ONE PAGE!! Pissed me off!! I ended up getting different kits..now I have to scrap with it all so I don't get in trouble with my CT's..HAHA!! I did one this morning on my anniversary for next month...that was a kit I downloaded and tried and tried and tried to use for an upcoming challenge next month...DID NOT WORK AT ALL!! But I had that idea this morning and scrapped that page in about 30 minutes about our 22 years!! so maybe a little jo is returning to my mo :hurt:
 
good morning good morning...just buzzin on by...gonna be taking the girls to the park today...hopefully take some new pictures of them...maybe possibly make a new Layout with those pictures haha...we'll see how far i get in this process
