Checks, double checks... yes. Wednesday
I am feeling a bit "out there" so let's do some grounding breaths. Place both feet firmly on the floor. Listen to the sounds around you, be in the moment. Take a deep breath in and release. Feel the chair under you, the contact of the floor, the air on your skin, and the sounds and smells around you. Breathe in and out... and again...
I hope that helps you feel steady and connected. Some days I feel like I am floating in the ether. Today was one of them.
Scott and I had a good time together even though we were unsuccessful for the most part at the garden centers. I knew that we were at the end of the season for veggies but I didn't consider how hard it was going to be for them to order plants- they obviously didn't want to order too much, especially since the lockdown happened at the point where inventory would start coming in.
I was able to get some impatiens and some grassy stuff- darn it, Scott even taught me a little rhyme who to remember which kind of grassy stuff was which one has edges, one has joints. Two patio tomatoes, some herbs, eggplant and bush beans. Sadly, no basil, no cucumbers.
I was able to get the flowers planted in the buckets and put some vinca vine into two of them, I should put some in the big bucket on the patio. I think if the weather holds today, Scott and I are going to put the veggies in.
Quiet day I guess.
Hoping you all have a great one!
