Wow, I am running late- feeling very lazy for sure! Maybe not lazy, just sssssllllllooooooooowwwwwww. Yesterday, I had to run a couple of errands in town, and I feel like everything I do lately is done slowly and in a fog.
I did much better in my routine of sorts. I got laundry done, a bit of yard work (had two ticks crawling on me even though I was sprayed with DEET, ick!!!), did some other stuff that I can't remember ha!!!
That felt really good and I didn't poop out until about 3-ish. AND!! I only had some tremors and dizziness. Maybe the new supplements are helping.

Today is grocery shopping. I am going to see if Scott wants to go with me. If not I can go by myself. Gary has been hitting a bad (bad-er??LOL) spot and slept almost all of yesterday.

Since I am late, I am going to run-- I hope that I can get back later on.

I will leave you all with a QOTD
Now that the weather is warmer, what are your favorite foods to eat? Yesterday, I made tomato salad (panzerella, if I spelled that right). Fresh tomatoes, mozzarella, basil from the garden, fresh garlic, and a touch of olive oil. I like it over stale italian bread, but I didn't have any stale so I toasted a piece. Not quite the same but it worked:)

good morning - today is cloudy but warm enough so the windows are open. Yesterday got in a good walk and several scrap pages done. Besides that I was pretty much just enjoying the peace and quiet. Watched hockey and there is going to be a game 7 in the east. Tonight is game 6 in the west to see if they too will go to a game 7. Today my son before he leaves says please make something for dinner. LOL. So I guess today is a grocery shopping day.

Chris glad that your day went so well and that your tremors were less. Have fun at the store. And for a person who lives in NJ I do not like tomatoes even Jersey tomatoes.

Sharon did you get to see or hear how your BIL is doing. Hope you got to visit. Love your description of Dave and you DH and how they love to talk. My son and his new girlfriend talk and talk and I can't imagine what they have to talk about. But I am glad they do.

Trudy nice to her that Heather's kitchen is back to normal especially with a little one. Glad to hear your flip turns are working. How fun that you made such a wonderful impression on Bella. Kids say the cutest things - always amazes me just how much they know and how they really do listen.

Have a great day all.

Morning ladies... It is going to be a beautiful sunny day here and lucky me I get to spend most of the morning at the Dentist!!

Just a cleaning and then they will apply my permanent crown. Hopefully no needles, no freezing will be needed! I hate those dam needles!!

Chris - Sounds like you are slowly getting better with the tremors and such! Wow you guys must have lots of ticks where you live!! I haven't seen any yet and I hope I don't!! Yuck they creep me out!! I have only ever had one that buried into me and I had to go to the Dr. to have it removed properly. I was very young, around 12yrs old I think. But Mom and Dad would always check us for them after we had been playing in the woods, making forts and such. Our pets got them all the time and we would have to remove those. Yuck, Yuck, Yuck!! Hope that you move a bit quicker today and without the fog!!

Nancy - Isn't it wonderful to let the fresh air into the house!! I saw that you were a scrapping fool yesterday, I will have to go and check out your new pages! How wonderful that your son and his new girl are able to talk to each other so much!! Lets hope it continues!! The secret to a good relationship is communication!! DH and I still have lots to say to each other everyday after he gets home from work, we sit on the deck and have a glass of wine and talk about everything! Hope you find something great to make for supper tonight!

QOTD - My favourite things to eat in the summer?? Hmmm, so many things, but toasted tomato sandwiches are right up at the top! With lots of Mayo! Then there are all the great fresh fruits and berries yummy!!

Ok well I better get a move on and get some breakfast before heading out to the dentist! Hope everyone has a great day!

Mornin' all!

I woke up early enough to be at the pool just BEFORE opening, only to find the parking area set aside for the pool almost full. I thought it was going to be so jammed I almost turned around and went home. But I went in, and, voila! Empty pool! Yep. I had it all to myself for the first 10 or 15 minutes. I'm up to a half mile regularly now (18 laps), and today over half of them were crawl (I guess they call it freestyle these days...I really am old!)...as many as 7 consecutive laps! I'm almost back to feeling like I can't drown! LOL BUT TRUDY! The flip turns! You blow me away. I need to stop at the end of each length for a couple seconds just to catch my breath. FLIP TURNS! I never did those even in my youth, so not making that a goal. ;) BTW, the parking lot was full because the cheer team was having a practice in the gym, which is right next to the pool.

Nancy, you have been a scrapping machine! Gorgeous pages.

Chris, sounds like you are on an upswing. Hope it not only lasts, but gets even better.

Still no word from SIL about her husband. She hasn't returned our calls. :(

DH played golf yesterday, so I scrapped and watched several of my iPhone Editing class videos. I am just LOVING it...learning so much.

News from Utah continues to be good so far...meeting more neighbors. My DD seems to be a magnet for weirdos, so I'm not getting too optimistic yet. I just pray that there will finally be a good friend for her who is "normal." The kids are making friends, and the cats have settled in.

Favorite summer food: barbecued fish, especially salmon and sea bass.

Wednesday With Clara today. Can't wait.

Sorry to be so late here, but we've had sunny weather part of yesterday and all of today so we've been out making the most of it!! Start for home tomorrow.

Chris, your "panzerella" sounds lovely even with toast. I can't think of anything for warm weather especially. But today I had a lovely cookie with rosemary. Since I really like rosemary, had to try it and it was good.

More in a few days!
