Hey there and happy Wednesday! How are you all doing today?
It's bright and sunny and today I must stay indoors. I must or my legs are going to rebel and turn to jelly. Not jiggly, they already do that. :rotfl:

I was on my feet again most of the day. Cleaned here, did yoga, more yard work, and then cooked for 2.5 hours. We ended up having everyone here for dinner so I made three trays of the flatbreads. It was all easy cooking, just time-consuming.
I spent a lot of time looking out the window. The baby bunnies are spending more time out of the nest and :holysheep: , they are too cute! Their little hops are not completely coordinated at all times which cracks me up. There are 6 of them as far as we can tell. Yesterday, four of them were sitting in a row shoulder to shoulder. Except one. He was facing the opposite direction. He's my favorite, being a small rebel. Not that there is any way to tell them apart LOL
My big yard work project when cleaning the fire pit area and clipping back to Forsythia. If anyone wants to start a fire, they can without worrying they'll set the entire woods ablaze. Although not just yet, it's still way too dry. It's supposed to rain this weekend. *fingers crossed*

I wish that someone else would cook dinner tonight
Or, I wish that I had enough money to order takeout.

HAGD!! ♥

@Su_Sanne Hi!!! I had two dogs that were able to be off-leash. They never left the yard. My two current ones-they would be chasing everyone and everything. I am laughing at your "strange dachshund" showing up! LOL!
Have a wonderful vacation! I hope you take a lot of photos to scrap when you get back.

@vickyday I am so stinking proud of myself for how low I can get doing a forward fold that I should take your idea to scrap a photo of me doing that and use my motto. :D
Did you do any cleaning or did you scrap and chill?

@taxed4ever That's so sad about the rower. Yes, at least his family has closure. :(
Great that you and Linda have the carts and routine getting all figured out with the kayaks. And pfft- you do have a busy schedule. You are always doing something- you are never still. Have a great hike today! Will you get to see any of the seals in the ocean?
Nope, no sign of Tif. There is a smaller toad living under the garage can on the patio but not Tif. :( This little guy is also much darker than Tif was but I think I am going to call him Tif Jr. heh
My rhodo is starting to bloom too and the one azalea is as pretty as always. The small one that I thought was dead is getting leaves. I mixed some compost and remulched it and will hope for the best. I bet your yard looks amazing. You and your Gary work so hard in it.

@Cherylndesigns Hah, of course, you didn't do *nothing.* If you ever did nothing, your family would be freaking out, there would be something very wrong with Cici. :giggle4:
Have you had any progress with plans for Asher to visit again this summer?
The gift basket sounds amazing, I love getting stuff like that. Isn't it exciting to keep pulling stuff out of them? And even better that you can repurpose the basket for dog toys.
Aly must be so happy with you and the fam. Wow, a ballet dancer too! :voodoodoll: to her mom. :angry4:
(if you ever need any advice on how to talk to someone with anorexia- you know where to find me)

@bcgal00 The movie sounds like it was a good choice for the day and very neat that it was set in Italy, something for Jen to look forward to. Thank you so much for the leash tips. Our biggest problem is that we aren't consistent with Jaida. And it shows. :/

@Nonni F hey there! It's so hard to be on the computer for long when the yard is calling, even when it is covered in pollen. My contacts were stuck to my eyeballs the other day they were so dry and itchy.
Oh, I am *swooning* over your house and yard--- and the arbor. Just wow!! I can tell how hard you have been working on it. everything is just amazing! TFS!!

@LSlycord I am very relieved that you like the Mayo Dr and that he is kind. Half the battle is that. Hehe, I am imagining Shaun's "really?" face when you explained the CT scan. How is the issue going for him, no additional problems? *fingers crossed*
mmm, basil, I love that smell!

Yikes, I am really, really late today!

Good Morning to you! Good Morning to you! Good Morning Everybody! Good Morning to you!!!

Does anyone else have "side affects" from eating sugar-free candy? I was craving something sweet last night after Mark went to bed so I ate 3 pieces of his Russel Stover chocolate caramels. The gurgling and cramping started around 1 a.m....... I know better!

Is anyone else always stumped when it comes to using the words, affects and effects?

We are one mouse down as of last night! It cleaned the wooden trap, escaped the plastic trap the first time around, but 3rd time was a charm!

Today Mark is working a half day so we can go to the funeral of a good friend at the church an hour away where I take my friends for the widows' meetings. He was a PK and only 63 years old and has been suffering from diabetes-caused problems really badly the last 3 years. His sister and BIL found him Sunday morning. He had passed in his sleep! I hope that is the way I go!

@faerywings Meet Frog.....he has been hanging out on top of the sump pump of late.

I'll have to do a scrapbook page, LOL!

Is anyone else having problems with OScraps hanging up when you his post reply?

Time to get ready to go!
Have a good day!

Morning ladies... Quickly popping in to say hello and hope that you all have a wonderful day! It is sunny but we are now starting to get the smoke from all the fires in Alberta, Uggh. Seems the whole province is on fire!! The winds must have shifted and we are now enjoying their smoke. Hopefully it doesn't get worse as the day goes on! I am late getting things ready, so I must get going:eek3: and will try to catch up with everyone tomorrow! :waving1

Quick in and out for me today. It is smoky out there (Alberta fires smoke drifting over to BC) and will climb to 90ish today. I'm going to head out for a drive with Remi, see what I can photograph along the way and will let her out here and there for a few minutes to run around. She needs the stimulation, she's been home all week with me being sick.

Hello all.

Chris @faerywings how sweet about the baby bunnies. I know you're enjoying watching them. You're right - if Cici did nothing, everybody would be worried. LOL I had SO much fun unpackihg my gift basket and Adrienne found me the cutest things. There's a little tiny vase tht says "World's Best Mom" on it. It's for a little sprig of something, or a wildflower which I'm known to pick and bring inside. I have wild daisies growing in my weed garden right now and Yarrow. She got me a beautiful new mug too and this cute little thing to hang - a metal bumble bee thingie with a big pompom on it - I love "unusual stuff". The dogs are lovijg the repurposed gift basket/dog toy basket. It's really big and they can find their toys easier. Aly is not eating again - she's not any bigger than a minute anyway and she admitted to us Sunday that she's having one of her "no eating spells". Her mother literally had her on "rations" so she wouldn't gain weight while she was dancing. She said she was always hungry. She even changed her mine, last minute about going out to dinner Sunday evening. I'm sure it was just because she didn't want to eat. She's way shorter than me - so you can imagine how tiny she is. Have you ever seen the movie Black Swan? It's about how malnourished ballet dancers are. It's not unusual for them to just pass out after a performance. Ava took this picture of us - you can see how teeny tiny she is.

I have some good news! Steph and Asher are moving out here! Well, not here, here, but to Missouri! It's going to happen this summer, before he starts school. She and his dad share custody and they've all (his family too) decided to leave Florida and move back to his hometown. It will be a short meetup for us and we're SO excited! Next step is to get her and Asher here. Maybe when he gets older, his dad will relent - baby steps. It's a heck of a lot closer than Florida! I JUST got the go ahead to share this awesome news.

Vicky @vickyday what a cute picture of your frog. When we lived in florida, we had a "pet frog" that lived on our lanai. He loved my potted plants and would just hang out in there. Asher and I named him Bart. He lived with us for one summer, then he left and we missed the little guy.
