OMG, I am more date-challnged today than ever. I had to screenshot what I typed up there just now:
Mapril?? Yesterday I almost wrote April" but caught myself. I think I am in the same mental state today.
I guess when the days/weeks/months blur together, "Mapril" makes sense.
How was yesterday for you all?
The weather was cool but sunny and it was nice to be outside in the afternoon. I kept digging up the tarp that had been buried years ago, cutting it into pieces that I could grab and pull. I am starting to move some perennials in that area now that it gets sunshine. Previously, it was shaded by a huge tree that we had to take down because it was dead and dropping large branches near our roof. I have to do it all by hand because we have at least one dead pet buried there. I blocked off the spot I know there is a box and haven't come across any others. *fingers crossed that I don't*
Because the soil is 99% decomposed leaves, I think the plants will be very happy there.
I finished my scrap page and Cindy @scribler gave it a Finger Pionting GSO! I was shocked, especially since I wasn't all that crazy about it. But it sure helped build some confidence back. ♥
I have to pick up my grocery order this morning and then fold the laundry that I ran, then ignored yesterday. I think I will wash all of the wine glasses so they are ready for Sunday brunch. (If I write it down, I am much more likely to follow through. If I simply think it-- ain't gonna happen LOL) The rest of the day will be mine, mine, mine. More yard work for sure.

I want to see Tif. Or a Tif Jr. It's weird not having any toads to talk to although I had some friendly words with a garter snake yesterday. (I was saying hello to him and was outside the LR window. Gary shouts out of the window --who am I talking to? Snake Friend!!
I wish I could spend all day outside and not be in pain later on.
I also wish I could be outside and not worry about ticks or poison ivy. Oh, the irony of doing what I love most while taking my life and skin into my hands every time I do.
Hope you all have a wonderful and happy day!
