Happy Hump Day!
I can't get over how fast the O-Party is flying by. Just a couple of more days. I hope that everyone is having a good time. I know that I am arty:

I made it through ShopRite with only a tiny bit of aggravation and that was all on me. There is an older woman that I see all of the time. And she one of those shoppers that leaves the cart in the middle of the aisle as she looks around. In every darn aisle. My gut reaction when I saw her was Oh, s***! But I recognized it and realized that I was being ridiculous. I decided that I didn't have to go in my "regular" path and I didn't see her again. Will I remember to do that next week? :noidea:

I stopped at the salon and I have an appt for tomorrow. I always go to a new salon/hair stylist and think "Oh wow, *this* time I am going to come out looking different and better." (Please tell me that I am not the only one) And... I always come out looking pretty much the same. Shocking. Simply shocking. LOL

My day started out a bit "oddly" when I was doing the Rats and Chat with Caitlyn. Must be like Jean's hubby's Hum and Strum :rofl:
I was feeding them their nuggets, some I put into their food dish which they immediately hoard away. Then they get a nugget each that I fed them by hand. Muffin ran off with hers but Clove wanted to stick around and see if I had any more. She was hanging her head out of the cage a bit, whiskers twitching. Next thing, I heard a loud "kerplunk." The little bugger dropped her nugget into my coffee! All of the places it could have landed and "plop" right into my coffee. Silly Rat!!!!!

Today I am cleaning in the afternoon and probably wasting too much time on Pinterest looking for ideas for my hair.

Nancy- I don't think I have ever had anything with curry in it. But it is a good feeling when everyone enjoys dinner so much. I made spinach and artichoke grilled cheese melts for Gary and me and the kids ate the leftover filling on crackers. Guess that counts as a good meal?
Hope that the Devils won last night.
I will never understand why tech needs to make everything so complicated. What a pain it must have been to have to email and then upload your images. One thing that is good about Android phones is that they upload/sync to Google Photos. But then if I want to use them I need them on my computer so I have to download them from there.
Hope DS is better today. There is some brutal cold that is going around my town, just about everyone who works at ShopRite has had it. Brendan was sick for 3 days and that kid *never* gets sick.
I feel your pain, I have phrases that I use that my kids look at me like I have two heads.

I will tell Cait that you all said congrats to her on her acceptance to Ramapo!

Trudy- how fun to spoil the grands a bit with a trip to the toy store since I am sure that Grandma covered the difference between the recycling proceeds and cost of the toys *wink*
What did you end up doing with the kids yesterday? And are you getting lots of pictures of them so when you have free time again, you can scrap?

jean- yup that is what we have today-- windy and rainy but temps will be over 50*
Ramapo is rated one of the best colleges in NJ and is one of the most economical- about 1/3 of the cost as Rutgers. I am happy that the kids won't graduate with 100K in debt like a lot of other people will be doing.

Felis- it must be so strange to be a day ahead when you post here.
I am really sorry that your chat with your friend didn't go well. MY BFF is very active and in touch with the people that we graduated with in High School. I am not and I don't go to any events b/c I wonder-- what will I have to contribute? I understand where you are coming from. BFF tells me I am wrong and maybe I am. Who knows? But you gave it a shot and that is what matters. Proud of you!!

it is fascinating that your culture is so different than American culture. I wish that we all could find a balance between being honest and kind.
Hope you have lots of fun scrapping and catching up on the party stuff here.
Great to hear that things are back to normal with your mom.

good morning - My Devils won and it was so exciting perhaps too exciting. We scored first and then the Hurricanes scored two, we scored one in the second so the Devils had 20 min to win. The Hurricanes scored, then the Devils scored twice. OMgosh the winning goal was scored with just 1min33sec left in the third period. There were young men behind us and they kept wondering whether they would make the 10:08 train or the 11:08 train. I am so glad that I don't have to worry about taking the train any more. It was fun but now I am spoiled. Well the crowd went crazy when the Devils scored. We are now 3 points ahead of the Panthers. The Devils just have to keep winning. I am sure all teams say that. My best players are playing their best so that is really helping. Now tonight I am going to Panera's with my girlfriend. The rain has stopped yea so I will be walking Luther. Yesterday the poor boy was dragging and just wanting to sleep. My son is much better so he is back at work. So I will be working on my photos and perhaps getting some scrapping done.

Chris that is too funny about the nugget into your coffee. Makes you wonder if they don't know a little about what they are doing. Glad the grocery shopping went well with just a bit of aggravation. And have fun at the hair salon! You won't come out looking different if you do the same style. LOL It will be fun no matter what! And for spring too! Have fun on pinterest.

Felis I am sorry the phone call did not go as you hoped. But I still think it is an awesome thing to do and to have tried. Glad things are good with the family!

Jean we had our rain during the night and I guess you had it during the day. I really would like some sun. The temps just seem warmer with the sun.

Trudy how fun to allow the kids some internet time and then it the fun stuff. I love that they loved helping your sort your recycling. That is awesome. I think you are right about them needing to spend that money as soon as possible. It is so hard for kids to save.

Morning O-zies... It is supposed to be sunny and warm today, but so far all I can see is grey clouds :mmph: oh well regardless I need to get these munchkins out on a hike today. Yesterday was fun as we went bowling and to the little park that is just up the road from us. The kids had fun playing on the monkey bars etc. Grandma even had a contest with them to see who could swing the highest. Sadie won LOL. Then back home to play some more board games. I hope to teach the kids a new one tomorrow. They say they want to go to kids fun swim after supper tonight, but we will see, usually after supper they are tired and just want to hang out with grandpa and watch a bit of tv.

Chris - Glad that your shopping was not too stressful, good for you for deciding to take a different route so you would not have to deal with the bad shopper. I have been bad for not taking more pics, but will try to remember to do so today. Hope you like your new hairdresser and like Nancy says you won't look any different if you don't get a new style LOL. Have fun on Pinterest I hope you find a great new hairdo that will look amazing on you! Too cute about the nugget dropping into your coffee, perhaps the rat was trying to give you a gift LOL. Have fun at the O's birthday today, I wish I had more time to be here and help out with things.

Nancy - Woot your Devils are hot right now! Our Bruins had a disappointing loss last night with a shoot out ending in a loss. You know how much I hate shoot outs!! So many penalties not called on the Jets and they were really out to hurt someone last night. So frustrating how bad the officiating really is! Have a great walk with Luther and enjoy your evening with your girlfriend at Panera's! Glad to hear that your son is feeling better also!

Jean - Nice to hear that you are getting more spring like temps! Yes the kids are keeping me very busy so it is nice to have a bit of time in the morning while they enjoy their screen time. Hard to find things to keep them amused. Isaac is great for playing on his own, but Sadie is totally opposite and needs suggestions on what to do to keep from being bored LOL.

Felis - Isn't it funny how you and your friend did not have much to say to each other after talking about the past. Like Nancy says it is awesome that you at least tried! Nice to hear that you are working on being more complimentary, sometimes words can really hurt and like my mother always said... "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" Words to live by! Nice to hear that things are well with your family! Have a fun day at the party!

O-zzies, it is SPRING! The robins of summer have arrived and DH heard four different males singing this morning before sunrise by our house. He did the bird survey and had robins both setting up territory like here at home but also small flocks moving by. Whatever weather we have now, this is the real deal. The weather of course is dreary and not very warm.

Felis, it's nice the family situation is calm again and I fully agree that you can congratulate yourself on making the effort with your friend even though it was a disappointment. So glad you feel better and are enjoying the party here. You know I get behind on the weeklies often, so I know you'll catch up later. Love your gate to nowhere!

Chris, interesting how you could solve a problem shopper by changing yourself. Good for you! Knowing nothing about the salon world have no advice or ideas on how to handle that. Nancy and Trudy always say they feel better after a cut and color, so hopefully you will too. Nugget in your coffee? wow, what a gift.

Nancy, I was pleased to see the Devils back three points ahead of Florida, then noticed they're just one behind the two teams ahead of them. Nice winning streak, now to keep it up. Dinner at Panera's must always be a good time. What do the guys do for dinner? Luther will be enjoying the warmer days and you too. Glad DS's enough better to go to work.

Trudy, love how siblings can be so different like these two. Our niece has a daughter Sadie so I always think of her when you mention yours. Hope you get lots of pix, but the time with them is more important.

OMG, girls, I bought myself the most adorable t-shirt! Will take photos with it and make page next month. It's small expensive for my taste, but it's worth it because is with a dog like a Tiny, but vampire. It's a Count Dogula . We had a long walk. I love the cold air, it's clear my mind better than everything, but mud ugh. You know me. Same old, same old.

Chris, usually this is one of the first things I do for the day, so I prepare my post and then I come back to post it in afternoon. Or in some days for yesterday . I don't feel strange to be a day ahead. Mostly I worried when you are post your first post and I post mine, before your personals, to not make you feel pressure. Please don't! I really don't rush at all!
Thank you all for the nice comments about my boring chat with my friend! It's not much funny that I'm become so boring person, but life broke us, I guess. As a usual you are describe it so good with your example about your BFF. And I'm sure she is right about you. But here facts shows that the true is opposite . I don't take it too personal. OK, now I'm more boring than I was before into the social conversations, but I'm just fine with my inside world. Ok, enough about me.

I laughed much on your story about the older woman at the grocery, sorry! My and dad are the same, and he always pressure others on a aisle. Sometimes I just start to put things into the wrong cart, just by 'accident', so the slow people immediately takes their cart on side. I'm so proud of your unemotional reaction! And you shouldn't judge her too strict, maybe at some health reason she tries to limited her movements.
Oh, and your rats are just Adorable naughty creatures! Hmm, I don't know about the hair stylist, for me is good things to looks pretty much the same, because I'm comfort with my style and will be disappointed if this finished with something surprising. I hope you'll like yours!


Nancy, I'm sure that you are had fun with your friends! Sound like you will celebrate the Devils won . How Luther tolerates the mud?! Our walks right now aren't exactly funny. Great news that your son is feels better!

Jean, I think we had the similar weather. Here they left all storks back to the wild. And I can not recognize the birds, but in my neighbour one sing the whole day. I'm not surprised this birds was so happy, because the neighbour's cat spent most of the day at my yard with mine, so their yard was a safe place. Oh,thank you, I'm glad you likes the page with the gate! When I saw this quote I remembered for this photo I had from years. At some point, these people was start to change the fence and was left only the door for a few days, so I could catch it before all to gone.
