Good news for today! The new washing machine is coming at some point. Not that I get to use it. Should I pout about that or not? Not! Gary loves new gadgets and such so he will be thrilled to run some loads. As long as it is still a novelty until I get back on my feet and up the stairs, we will keep having clean clothes.


I was really good yesterday, stayed off of my feet for the most part other than my ridiculous bathing process and having dinner on the sofa with the family. I decided to not take any pain meds before I went to sleep, they were giving me such bad dreams. I am sore this morning but I at least I slept better.



Nothing other than the washing machine delivery as excitement for today. Sending bigs hugs to all of you!

I am going to try to do quick personals again- I do miss my old set up at my desk with my two monitors and a spell check program.


Felis- It bothers me when people of either sex try to manipulate the media and fan base in order to bolster their careers or to promote themselves in a certain way. It definitely doesn't help feminist causes when women do this. I hope that the scandal resolves itself. And the poor wife, being thrown into this situation...


Nancy- good for you to be out and about so much! The weather is finally starting to move into somewhat decent temps. Scott is on a Geology field work trip today and I am so jealous of him
Good job being at the game when the Devils won!



Rae- I am so happy for and proud of you! You made some hard but necessary changes and you sound much less stressed, more centered. That is wonderful. So smart of you and Jen to bring the pets to visit B, that has to help her on so many levels. Fingers and toes (on one foot at least! LOL) are all crossed for a good placement for her then the time comes.
Trudy- yuck about the computer issues. I am not in the Gallery/Games as much as I would like either. How is the party going so far?
What was "off" about your painting that you had to scrap it? Not as easy to clean off a canvas as it is do so a Ctrl-Z
I can't imagine not talking to family and it breaks my heart when other family members go through this. One reason why I was so devastated when my kids got into that fight in Jan. Death is so permanent and things that coulda/shoulda of been said are gone in a flash.


Anyway, before I post this -- on a good note, my cell phone had a big software update and the new camera features are awesome! It has new "Pro" settings and I can adjust AP/exposure/WB/ISO all on the screen. I took a few pics if Whisky sleeping next to me to try it out, but it will be really fun to use when I am outside!

Good afternoon girls,
I'm so late today. But the fun at the O party is so BIG, i love all cakes, and the gift game is one time! Applause for Kay! Love it, I'm very curiosity about the life of others, which is actually unmannerly, but ... so I can't wait to see what all will choose in their boxes.
I don't know did some of you is subscribed for Mediterranka design's newsletter, but Olesya shared with us that she is found a street dog and after unsuccessful try to give it in other family, now she will try to keep it. Aren't this the most lovely news?! Fingers crossed for her success!
The reason to be so late today is because yesterday was rainy and the temperatures drop so much, that when the clock was ring this morning our home was so cold, that I just hugged the dog stronger and continued to sleep, letting someone else to deal with heating. :heh:

Chris, hooray for the washing machine! Haha, nice way to force Gary to do laundry for a while! :washing: Ou, bad for the meds can they replace it with something other?
By the way I think you missed the card that I made for you here, sorry if you are saw it and decided to not comment, I'm totally ok with that, just I'm so happy I won this kit, who is perfect for you.
About the scandal with our boxer it just will grow. He is national hero and I can make parallel with the scandal with Monica Lewinsky at your country. We watched all the videos before the girl to delete them and in our standards she was flirting and giving him green lights. But Nancy, is right in some point too, if kiss is more serious for your culture than for mine.

Nancy, we was thinking that you'll have long way to do for recovering, but you are really faster, girl! Great that you are had fun on the game, and so bad about your husband's tooth. Thank you for your answer, even when I'm on opposite side, I share things here, because needs more viewpoints! I'm hear and thought on what you are said.

Rae, many friends swears that their pets are therapeutic, will be curious to learn how B react on them with the times! Your idea for the camera is super! I would love to see how your scraping style is changed too!

Trudy, sounds as yesterday was semi-successful day for you, so I hope today you'll be able to checked more from your To Do List! Did these 'new years enthusiast' finally left the pool?! This vacuum cleaner smiley is cool, and this in the toilet, and someone with cat. But that's are only ideas, not pushing at all! :boink:

Morning everyone!! My computer seems to be behaving a bit better today! I think that just shutting it down completely helps it out a bit. I have had this iMac for quite a while now and I can't update the operating system on it without screwing up my Photoshop, so until I can figure out how to correct that I will just have to put up with the little glitches it has. That or get a new iMac and that is not going to be happening anytime soon. LOL. Today is a sunny day and it will be perfect weather for our hike to Christie Falls today! I have not been on this hike for a long time and it is so pretty!! I am really looking forward to it! We will stop for lunch beside a beautiful waterfall, which we are hoping will be spectacular this time of year! I know I did a page of this hike, but I might have to do another if the pics turn out good. Yesterday was a bit of a bust for me. I did not get what I wanted accomplished here and so will try to do that this morning before I head out. I did have a bit of a visit with my sisters yesterday, so that was nice! I need to leave a bit early this morning to put gas in the car, so will try to hurry and get things done before doing that.

Chris - Glad to hear that you took it a bit easier yesterday! Sorry you woke up in a bit of pain, but at least you got some sleep! Its horrible when meds make you have nightmares :fear: Hooray for the new :washing: I hope that you get to try it out soon! Pretty nice that your Gary will be doing the laundry for you until then though! Keep being a good patient and stay off of your sore foot!! :hug: I hope you will be up and back to normal soon!!

I will see what other cute smileys I can find for you I promise LOL. Yes the pool is much more quiet these days, I had a lane all to myself yesterday, it was so nice! Morning, gals. I was delighted to see so many players already in the Birthday Gift Box game. So many wonderful items listed. Chris, got a huge smile over you not being able to think of enough items for your box! Felis, I agree... it is so much fun to see what others have chosen as it gives you a glimpse into their life and thoughts.

I am sorry I have been quiet lately. The death of my friend last week threw me into a very sad mood that I am having trouble shaking off. So forgive me for not posting any personals right now.

good morning - the sun is shining and the weather forecast is awesome. Temps will go up to close to 70 by Sat. Yea! My poor DH still having problems with tooth. Looks like he will need new crown. Poor guy. He is home again as the pain kept him up all night. Not much else going on. My niece in AZ has the cutest daughter. Her daughter is in 2nd grade and she made me a hand made get well card. Had me smiling all day.

Chris I know what you mean about pain meds. Sometimes the side effects are worse than the pain. Glad you are just sore not too painful! Congrats on the new washing machine! Glad that this new machine will keep Gary doing laundry. Too fun! My DH and I audited a geology class in college. We did a field trip and it is one of my favorite days. I bet Scott is having a great time!

Trudy glad you got your computer working again. Yep my son always says shut it down and restart. Have fun on the hike! Hope you like your painting more today! Glad to hear that Hunter and Heather are feeling better!

Rae so glad that you are liking life! You deserve it after all you and your family have been through. Hope you got out for the run and the rain let up!

Felis it is so fun to read the different viewpoints. I always enjoy reading. This is a very hard time for women and men as times change. Thanks for the nice words on my recovery but it seems like forever for me. LOL

Good Afternoon! I have been doing layouts with the mini O's and they are fab! The birthday party is in full swing and lots of fun things going on. I am enjoying my daughters visit! She has changed alot in 7 months!

Kay- so sorry about the loss of your friend.
Chris- pain meds have such terrible side effects. I can't take them anymore
Trudy-crazy computers huh? Glad Heather and Hunter are better

Just a quick pop in to say hi all. I am about to go get my fur baby from the vet. He had his surgery today so we will be busy nursing him back to health. I must admit I had tears when I had to leave him this am. The poor little guy couldn't understand why he didn't get breakfast. The next few days will be devoted to him and his needs.


Have you seen the cake thread? Oh my gosh some of them are unbelievable!
