It was just posted and already is making me LMBO!

Yesterday was a bad one for me shaking-wise. But I do have some really awesome news! I am on a new IV abx and the saline bag they get mixed in are really small!!! *And* I don't have to worry about the drip rate, like I did with the vanco, which has to be done very slowly. I was done with this bag in about an hour. I need to slow it down a bit more tonight b/c I could feel the cold liquid going through my heart. Not the most comfortable feeling. But dang!! Only an hour! I had to go to the bathroom while we were watching some TV after I was unhooked, and I danced over to the door waving my un-tethered arms around! Gary was laughing at me.

Speaking of laughing at me, I had my kids laughing the other day. We got the shipment of my new meds at dinner time. The box was enormous and the kids were reminiscing how we would let them play in any big boxes we would get. In fact, they would get mad at me when the box was falling apart and I wanted it out for recycling.
Anyway, we were looking at the box and I joked "who wants a ride in the box?" They said "You do."

So what does Kooky-Faery-Mom do? I climb in the box (yes it was that big ) and Gary pulls me around the LR. The kids ask if I can fit completely in the box, so I wiggle down a bit and they close the lid on me! hahahah!!! Cait was showing her friends the pictures she took of me on her phone. They must think I am insane :bounce:

Today Gary and I are going food shopping. Actually, physically walking through the store. Oh boy, it is going to be interesting!

today was my day off and I slept till 10am and started my day slowley.

How old is your son?

My son is 19 years old. and he was so happy yesterday and I think he will today too.

I would love to have such a vehicle, but an Audi is a bit out of our price range!!

Same here, we are the lucky ones that we can lease the cars from AUDI with good terms. But it´s still expensive. But for a single man, living at home, who don´t have to pay much bills it´s possible *lol*

Staying with the theme of laughing, what makes you laugh? Silly dog and cat videos? Listening to your kids/g-kids talk? Bad jokes?

I laugh about hidden camera, if someone trips or falls, I know not very nice from me to laugh. But only if I see this in TV not in real !!! I wouldn´t laugh if someone falls in front of me !

Morning O fam- we had belly laughs in the office on Monday and I cannot remember what caused it, but when you are 50+ and 7 others are under 29, well sometimes you say something that has a new meaning to the younger crowd than it does to you! Okay- off to work- tomorrow is my day off so I intend to scrap tonight and some tomorrow- must find my table- covered in papers- how does that happen?

Good morning. Chris, I hope that you will scrap a page with some of Cait's photos. That would make me laugh!

Laurie, most of the people that work on my team are older...but not as old as me. I do have a 23 year old and a 27 year old who report to me. It is hard for me to remember that I was once that young...and equally hard to remember that I am now this old!

Beautiful car for a 19 year old. I bet he has big plans to drive this weekend! I would!

What else makes me laugh? I laugh a lot at myself. Most of the time when I do something dumb, I just laugh. Was not the case last night when I was trying to make an avatar for the birthday party. There were so many things I couldn't remember and it made me mad! Tonight I'm scrapping a regular page. And a simple one at that!

good morning - well I am feeling much better today. I think I finally got caught up on sleep. But who knows. Last night was fun I went with (I am not sure what to call them - they are my son's friends from high school who are now married with a son of their own) but we are NJ Devils hockey buddies to a Scott Gomez autograph signing. Their son is such a cutie! He was a star too. Was fun spending time with them and seeing Gomez. Today I really do have to grocery shop and get out for a good walk before the rain comes this afternoon.

Chris sorry Cait had the nose bleed - maybe up too much with the baby. It amazes me and saddens me how much security there is at schools these days.

Anika that is one sweet ride for your son. My son went through his fancy car period when he was younger. Now he is in to big trucks. LOL

QOTD - when I hear a baby really laughing for the first time that makes me laugh.

Yes, we saw the birds! I scrapped about it when we got home. It's in the Oscraps Collab challenge on being lucky: https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=328254&title=3rd-time-lucky&cat=all. I kept feeling a smile on my face after. Nothing special happening today.

Chris, I love the box story. I too hope you'll scrap some of the photos, but it will be hard to totally capture the joy and silliness that made if fun for all. Good luck with the in person shopping!

Astrid, how nice your son can have that special car. We tend to talk about males (of all ages) and cars as "boys and their toys." My DH drove sports cars before we were married.

Laurie, it's so nice having you here. Glad tomorrow is not a work day and you can find your table and scrap! Working with 20-somethings must be interesting! :laugh:

Linda, sorry it's taking time to get back into the scrapping. Sharon can tell you the frustration of just trying a different program for it. But you will prevail!!

Nancy, sounds like another fun time for Devils fans. Fun trying to describe the relationship to your friends. The friends of one's children can become more for the parents after all. I like that Spanish has terms for the relationship of the parents of a married couple. The MIL of your child is your consuegra. I'm sure the pleasure of that relationship is highly variable! :tape2:
