Yoohoo!! Y'all can come out now, it's safe. :behindsofa:
I am better today, at least so far!! Haha!

Yesterday didn't get off to a good start, especially since Iran out of coffee and only had a small cup leftover that I microwaved for b-fast. Gary ended up not coming with me to the store, which was good because the warehouse didn't open until 9am and I got there at 8:30. So I popped in next door to Target and picked up some groceries that were cheaper than Shop Rite and then went and spent my entire last week's pay at BJ's. Good thing I am working today or I wouldn't have any money to go "real" grocery shopping which I had to postpone since I had no money. LOL

WWW:
I really wish food wasn't so dang expensive.
I want someone to create and eternal caffeine IV, or maybe a patch would be easier?
I wish it was the weekend and the Oscraps birthday Bash was started. Soon though only a few more days!!
I want all of you to have a wonderful and happy day!

Laurie- How did the CPR recert go? The weather has been phenomenal out here too- scarily so ;) But allergies-- **ah-chooooooooooo!* LOL

Hugs to you Linda S. I am sending :tea: to you. Thats a bummer about the kids not liking the day care. Guess I can't blame theme. But i had to chuckle over the "stealing of friends." BTDT with my two. Now their friends are "interested" in each other a bit I think, cuz they seem to get along great now.

can't you just look around and SEE what needs to be done without me having to TELL you??? :frusty:
Why?? Why do they ALL do that?? I swear, I say all of the time its a genetic defect on the Y chromosome. *eye roll*
I am really sad to hear that it never gets better.
How'd the well do? *fingers and toes crossed that it is A-OK b/c I know you don't want to have to have a new well drilled.*

Maureen-- look at how cute you look in your new avi!!!! *love it*
Ugh about the cough syrup, but that was very sweet of him!

Trudy-- you were that ray of sunshine that I needed yesterday. Why didn't you come visit me in NJ? LOL
I did get to rake out another patch od garden. My black eyed susies are already popping up!
Did you get tons of pics of the g-kids when they weren't sick? I hope so and hope that you get a chance to scrap them soon.

Gotta hit the shower and get the kids to school.

xoxoxo!

morning - I feel blah- can't wait for my day off- darn this gorgeous weather with me stuck inside with no windows! I passed my CPR- on tomorrow list- send in my continuing ed audit info for my license to practice PT- I have the taken the courses so it is just a matter of supplying the info. I feel so redneck and just wish the gov't would leave me alone. I had to send my car ins info in to the state last month- the state spent money to send me two letters- one to request it and one to thank me for sending it- not to mention man hours to do so, when they could just ask to see it when you renew- oh wait that would make sense and save money- what was I thinking. Okay off my soapbox ramble.

I nearly killed my dog last night- decided to take him for a walk= a slow short one, he is older. WE used to do 2 miles. I didn't make it far before he started panting, so we turned around, he got slower and slower and then just sat down- he weighs 75 pounds, so I left him, walked home, got the car, heaved him in, heaved him out and wiped up the drool, sat with him and an hour later he was back to normal. Sigh, now to decide if I want to leave him out on this gorgeous day, or inside.

Enjoy your days!

Good morning ladies. LOL---Laurie, I couldn't help but laugh at the dog story. Sounds like a predicament that I would get myself into. And Maureen, that avi is fantastic! Chris, I'm glad that the day improved. And groceries are awful...don't know how my brother and s-i-l do it with 4 kids still at home.

'morning, all. 80 degrees coming today. WOOT!! i should go outside and get some sunshine. my Vit. D level is up into the normal range now, apparently. (good. now the doctors can STOP trying to make me take MEGA Vitamin D pills for a week, the latest fad, which i refused to do because of the possible interaction with one of the drugs i take--which the Drs didn't seem too concerned about---which i didn't understand why they WEREN'T. it's right on the *warnings.*) i found that out yesterday at the Dr.'s, when i went in to have them look at the tick bite, which doesn't seem to be a prob. (ha...i guess we'll see in a few weeks or months....)

Chris, glad you're feeling a bit better today. although it IS early.... :pound: and i'm really glad you got out of taking hubby to the store with you!. i was just thinking the other day that, when my husband retires i will probably make him come grocery shopping with me, so i don't have to deadlift the bags into and out of the car and carry them all up the stairs. plus, he really needs to learn a bit about life, in case i kick the bucket before he does. :faint: i don't think he has a clue how much stuff costs.

well, happy day, everyone. make some art! have a good laugh about something!

Laurie, no window?!! not good on days like we've been having! although i guess there's nothing to distract you from your work! poor doggy! i hope he's OK. it sound like something i'd do: sit down and refuse to move on a long walk....

Linda, the price of food is through the roof. but i heard an academic on the radio two days ago talking about how that's all an illusion, that as a percentage of income we're spending LESS on food! i was screaming at the radio. the price of meat is unbelievable and has skyrocketed over the last few years. thank heaven for pork. the affordable meat. but how much pork can you eat every week?

Morning all!

Rain, Rain, and more Rain here in MO. Not storms so that is just fine.

Today my mom has a hair appt. but will make that decision in a bit to go or not. Mom+walker+pouring rain+me trying to hold on to woman with walker and the umbrella.............you do the math!!

Chris- groceries are so high. My college student called while he was grocery shopping to let me know that tid bit!!..........sure they are expensive 'cause it is his money!!

Laurie-glad your pup is OK. Hope he'll be back walking with you soon. We have two pups and both wear shock collars to keep them in the yard and not out running and chasing cars. The Black lab ate the Brittany's collar off of her and ruined it! have to come up with a new plan for them.

Linda and Phylis good morning and hope you enjoy the sunshine where you are.

Have a good wednesday all.

Good Morning Ladies... I looked out the window this morning and there was :smow: on MG's truck!!! Why is everyone else getting summer and we are still stuck in winter?? :pout: Oh well I guess it will be spring here when its ready. Off to work for a few hours today, but sure enjoyed my day off!! All caught up on my sleep and got some scrapping done, not as much as I had planned but that's ok. I had a layout almost completely done and then I hit the wrong button and whoosh it was gone!!! I could have cried!! STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!! Oh well started all over again and it turned out better than the first one anyway.

Chris - So glad I helped you out a bit!! Wish I could come for a visit, we could have sat in the sun and shared a bottle of wine!! Nice that you got to spend some more time in your yard, I am patiently waiting for the sun to come out and dry up my back yard, I know that the tulips are up, but it will be a while before I can get out there and do any kind of cleaning up.

Laurie - too funny on the dog story!! :pound: poor puppy though, hope he is ok! Try to get out in sun on your lunch break and soak up some rays!!

LindaS - hope your day is great!!

Phylis - It sounds like your weather is fabulous!! Hope you get outside to enjoy it! Yes make your MG go grocery shopping with you, mine comes along once in a while and we always end up spending more because he thinks we need this and that. It has taught him the price of food and he never says anything to me anymore about how much I spend on food. He even does the shopping for me once in a while when my life is too busy! I gotta love him! Even though he frustrates the hell outta me sometimes!! LOL.

Donna - Can't blame you if you don't want to take your mom for her hair appt. it is pretty tricky trying to balance all of that!! Hopefully the rain lets up and you can take her. It must be nice for her to get out once in awhile!!

Well off to the shower and get going for work. Hopefully I can spend some quality time in here later! Have a great one everyone!!

Laurie, hope you get to use your new machine soon! hard to believe we're in grass-cutting season already! i'm currently listening to bulldozers a few doors away, where they're building a garage, and the Mad Cardinal who takes up residence right next to my house every year aat this time and sings until it's hoarse every day. usually beginning at about 5 a.m.

I love hearing cardinals- and then trying to find them, of course none are serenading me in the morning- we do have some in the trees at work though
