Ready to breathe with me again? let's go! *innnnnnn and ouuuuuuuut*
And again...
That is better.
I hope that everyone is having a good morning/day so far. I am doing relatively ok since I woke up at 2 am and struggled to get back to sleep. I have a couple of good sleep meditations that work 99.99% of the time. Last night was the .001% that it didn't work. I grabbed my phone and played a word game, then the puzzle game. Then I tried a different meditation. That worked a bit, where I was in that state of sort of being asleep, IFYWIK?
Did anyone do anything special for St Patrick's Day? We did not but we typically don't. I will make corned beef- it one of the very few times I will eat beef- but the cabbage and potatoes are part of the food order I am picking up tomorrow.
BRB, need to take the dogs outside.
It is chilly out there but the sun is shining and I am doing yard work today! :whoo:
I am wondering if I should order seeds and seed starter kits this year. I have no idea if things will be better to get out to nurseries by the end of April. Now is the time to starts seeds indoors if I am going to. I have terrible luck with seeds though.
I see that a lot of have our party avatars on. That makes me happy. I hope that the party here makes everyone happy.
Mental health is going to be an issue for many of us so I ho[e that you don't mind if I share positive info and articles that I found helpful and hope that you do too. One I read this morning was this one “Our calm is contagious”: How to use mindfulness in a pandemic
This part here was especially meaningful:
My gratitudes for today:
-dogs and rats. and a dog who loves to watch the rats. W is fascinated by them and will lie in front of their cage for hours.
-the weather and that I will be able to be outside
-my family and my O-Fam
What are you grateful for today?

The single most important thing that can happen right now in this pandemic is that we feel our collectivity — that we’re really here to help each other move through this. And the truth is each one of us can help. We have a real gift to offer each other just by who we are and how we come forward. If we can find an inner refuge of calm, our calm is contagious.
