Was it really and truly only a week ago that I was outside clearing out my garden and uncovering my spring flowers?
This weather is *ridiculous*!!!!!!! And not in a good/funny/welcome kind of way

Forecast for today: High of 24*, Real Feel 4*. Snow showers. WTH? Spring is officially here in 5 days! :gaah:

So the snow blower would not start at all. We had over a foot by 11 am, then we had snow and sleet coming down at lunch time. Then back to all snow until (my) bedtime- 8 pm. Gary went out this morning to see if he could shovel a bit of the sidewalk and the shovel broke. He called the people who plowed for us yesterday to come back today. We might be eating pasta for the rest of the month!

I am supposed to be cleaning for my neighbor today or some other day this week. Not sure when he will be ready for me to come over. I only have to walk a couple of house down so I don't have to worry about clearing out my car. The wind sent so much snow in between our cars that it was up past the windows and we all have SUVs.

That's my day today, and I guess for both kids too. They are pretty aggravated that this is their spring break and they are stuck here.

Rae- were you able to finish up all of your work? And how was your dinner with Jen? Tell her that here Extended O-Fam is wishing her good luck!
Would you consider another dog for Taz instead of a cat? He obviously loves other dogs.

Nancy- sorry to hear that your flight got canceled but much better to be in AZ! Safe trip home!

Good morning ladies... wow totally missed being here yesterday morning! The day just kinda slipped away from me. I sat down at my computer after having a great sleep and just was about to start posting here when Heather and Mason called and we had a great face time for over an hour. Mason is into talking to me again and we make puzzles and he shows me all of his little toys again and we sing and have so much fun! It makes me so happy!! So by the time I finished with our chat it was time to go swim my laps, then home for a late lunch and I started making a page for the 52 Inspirations challenge. Well I was about to put on the last finishing touch when POOF!! It all just disappeared :gaah: I have no idea what happened or where it all went?? Chris I think your ghost has taken up residence at my house!! Crazy things happening with my computer and phone lately. :rant: I don't need this, I have a hard enough time getting my scrap time in as it is. Oh well not much will get done today either as I have my Hike today and it should be another gruelling one with high elevation climb and we will be gone over 4 hours today. Thankfully the weather looks pretty good for today, so I hope to get some good pics!

Chris - Ugh all that snow and in the middle of March!! It just doesn't seem right and I am sorry that you are having to deal with all the shovelling issues too! Sending you lots of good thoughts of warm sunshine to melt your blues away and the snow too! Perhaps you and kids can think of something fun to do today inside.

Rae - You will miss having your daughter there with you! Especially if she comes home and makes supper for you, that is awesome!! So cute that Taz is loving his kitty friend! I really miss having my cat for company, but I don't miss the hair or the litter box! But little kittens are so sweet and cuddly I hope you get all of your work done today and that you get to spend some time having fun here at the Party! I think that i am losing more inches then weight on this diet and thats ok by me! My clothes are getting loose and my bathing suit is very loose fitting on me and I just bought the darn thing LOL!

Sharon - Wow what a fun night out you had! So fun to live the good life!

Nancy - Better to be in Arizona than in NJ! Enjoy the last of the warm sunny weather and safe travels home!

Good morning, ladies. It's kind of a bittersweet morning here. Jen just left with Noel and the last of her stuff. She's officially moved out. She was almost crying when she left and me too. Then we laughed about it b/c she is only 5 min down the road LOL. It's just different when you all live together and share all the day-to-day stuff. But I know it's good for her to get on with her life and move forward. She knows the door is open if she needs to come back at some point. Poor Taz is missing his little kitty friend already. I am really on the fence about getting a cat and weighing the pros and cons. Darrell has left it up to me.

Got a fair amount of work done and I see the end of the tunnel now LOL. Whew...what a busy month, between Jen/Noel being here and work, and all the distractions. It'll be good to get back into my regular routine again. I'll put Taz in daycare on Monday so he can play with the other dogs as he is missing the cat, walking around sniffing, looking for him.

Chris - I don't think I will ever get a second dog again. Its so much easier for me to have just Taz when I go out for errands/walks etc. So it'll be a kitten we get or no other animal at all. We might all get used to not having a cat around, so I'll see how I feel in a few weeks. So sorry to hear about all that snow....ugh. Ours is all gone and spring better come now. I'm ready for blooms, as I'm sure you are too.

Trudy - enjoy your hike. Hope the weather is ok. Its raining here today but off and on so hopefully you are getting the same or better. As for our WOE (way of eating for anyone that isn't familiar with that term), me too, no weight loss this week but everything is loosening up a bit more. I put on my jeans that I bought a month ago that were super cheap, only a few bucks on sale, in the hopes that someday they would fit (at the time I couldn't even get the zipper up (about 4-5" span) and now they zip up...woohoo. I can't wait to see how we both look and feel another month or two into this!

I'm getting off the computer for a few hours to get some work done. That is my new routine, more work in the morning so in the afternoon I have a better idea of how much I need to buckle down to get the day's work done as well as any computer/scrappy time.

As for the box seats at the game- they were given to us by a company my DH works with. We laughed the entire time that we know how the other half lives!

Today I am scrapping, vacuming (Roomba is) and I need to set up a challenge.

Rae- I am smiling as I think about DD's departure. When my youngest left, I cried and she is a mile down the road! lol
