If you ladies aren't having the same weather as we are in NJ, I feel so badly for you. Yesterday was 72*!!! It feels more like late April, early May. Today is going to be the last of it, but wow, its been nice.

I cleaned yesterday for the woman who has cancer. It turns out that she has MS as well. Horrible.... just made me so sad for her family. And get this, they dr released her not even 24 hours after the surgery. Her mom explained to me that her drs feel that patients are more at risk from MRSA in the hospital than being at home, but I still can't imagine...... especially with 2 young kids.... How do you not try to be in "Normal Mom Mode?"
I don't know this woman personally, but if you could send good thoughts and prayers to her, I know it would be appreciated. Her name is Maureen. Thanks!

Off cleaning today again.... then maybe outside in the after noon for more yard cleanup.

Laurie, that sounds like a wonderful plan! Clocks and calendars can be so limiting. LOL
How are your daffodils? Mine are about half way up. They face east and don't get a lot of sun.

Phyllis- If I tried to listen to a book on tape, I'd probably get so interested that I wouldn't fall back asleep. I used to listen to podcasts (political ones most often) and I'd get all riled up that it would defeat the purpose of trying to fall asleep.
That painting-- that is so funny. Your father sounds like he had a quirky sense of humor.

The Swedish name for the monster is "snabeldrake" - which translates to "trunk dragon" ... what you you think of the title The Trunk Dragon Tamer ... sounds really cool to me :bounce:

Today the plan is to clean the hall. Not my favorite room in the house ... the floor is tiled, and the tiles are TERRIBLE to clean. I'm in a weird spring cleaning mood. I usually totally avoid cleaning as much as possible, but I really like it now. Maybe I've gotten some strange virus? The cleaning bug?

morning all, have had my walk, appear to be back on track now. Today will be mid to upper 70's here and sunny- I will be inside except for lunch when I will eat outside somewhere. The dog will be enjoying the weather outside, which means I can stay after work to finish up - taking dinner with me! Then tomorrow- dentist and hair- plus groceries, maybe a trip to a garden, except it is supposed to rain, we shall see. I am going to enjoy this weather as long as it lasts!

Chris NONONOOOOOOOOOO!!no political podcast to fall asleep. you get a nice simple book and play it softly in your ear. like mom telling you a story!

72 degrees today! however, one of the morning radio guys here reminded us that in 2001, we had a bit of this, then we had freezing rain until the end of April. in Pittsburgh, ANYTHING is possible!

going to try the framers again. who knew a shop would be CLOSED on TUESDAY? totally random.
