GooOOd morning, O-zies!
I am running late this morning but it is all good. Cait and Scott are awake so I chatted with them a while. My niece's rat was able to get her surgery rescheduled for today (thank goodness!) so niece's friend picked her up this morning at 6.15. Scott wanted to see her off too and got up early to say good luck to Mocha. I am so darn relieved that the surgery is today. It cannot be healthy to have an open would like that.
Yesterday was "interesting" to say the least. As soon as I woke up, I should have known it was gonna be a day. Gary was int he kitchen stepped in water, and then realized we had no half and half. I could have used milk, but he ran out to the deli in Cait's car to grab some. I am in the shower and Cait is yelling to ask if she can take my car to school. When I get out and ask Gary what is wrong with her car (again!) he says that the rearview fell off of the windshield (also again!). Moving the mirror is a very delicate thing and I guess when she moved it after he did, the glue loosened up and the mirror dropped.
He was able to reglue the mirror so I could take it to the supermarket but she had all of my canvas bags. I hate having to use plastic.:blabla:
It is a good think that I don't mind being at the vet. Whisky has a yeast infection in her ears, so 14 days of meds for her.
Nancy, I know that Luther gets them a lot, do you have any advice on how to prevent them? Home remedies if we can catch it early?
Today, I am going with Cait to her Drs appt and while I am there I am going to ask them if they were able to send all of my clearance to the podiatrist. Since Mocha is at her vet, we don't have to take her to Cait's vet. Whew! This afternoon should be relatively calm *knocks wood again and again but very quietly so the dogs don't think someone is at the door*
Wishing you all a very happy day!
