GooOOd morning, O-zies!
I am running late this morning but it is all good. Cait and Scott are awake so I chatted with them a while. My niece's rat was able to get her surgery rescheduled for today (thank goodness!) so niece's friend picked her up this morning at 6.15. Scott wanted to see her off too and got up early to say good luck to Mocha. I am so darn relieved that the surgery is today. It cannot be healthy to have an open would like that.

Yesterday was "interesting" to say the least. As soon as I woke up, I should have known it was gonna be a day. Gary was int he kitchen stepped in water, and then realized we had no half and half. I could have used milk, but he ran out to the deli in Cait's car to grab some. I am in the shower and Cait is yelling to ask if she can take my car to school. When I get out and ask Gary what is wrong with her car (again!) he says that the rearview fell off of the windshield (also again!). Moving the mirror is a very delicate thing and I guess when she moved it after he did, the glue loosened up and the mirror dropped.
He was able to reglue the mirror so I could take it to the supermarket but she had all of my canvas bags. I hate having to use plastic.:blabla:

It is a good think that I don't mind being at the vet. Whisky has a yeast infection in her ears, so 14 days of meds for her.
Nancy, I know that Luther gets them a lot, do you have any advice on how to prevent them? Home remedies if we can catch it early?

Today, I am going with Cait to her Drs appt and while I am there I am going to ask them if they were able to send all of my clearance to the podiatrist. Since Mocha is at her vet, we don't have to take her to Cait's vet. Whew! This afternoon should be relatively calm *knocks wood again and again but very quietly so the dogs don't think someone is at the door*

Wishing you all a very happy day!

Kay- please tell me that you got pics of you in the RH outfit!! Sounds like a blast if everyone has the same attitude as you.
The box sounds like a fantastic idea and I know we have a ton of boxes in the attic. It might be the only thing that I can do. Gary said he will sleep on the sofa so J will stay with him and Ray doesn't jump on the bed much anymore so it will only be the little bugger that I have to deal with.

Sharon- sending good thoughts to you and your husband and that he feels better soon!

Trudy- It sounds crazy that you need rain after all of that snow got dumped on you. I guess it is all melted by now? Keep the new snow on the mountain!
How nice to spend some one on one with Mason. You must miss him a lot.
Yeah, a week is a long time for me to be off of my feet. Friday I am going to the library to pick up some books. I have an old Roku box on the tv in the bedroom, so I can watch Netflix. I am gonna be bored!

Nancy- great news about the PT progress! Even better that you went on a 1-mile walk! You go!!!! Are you on track to see the Devils when they are back at home?
Happy birthday to DS and yes, I am always drooling when you talk about your DHs sticky buns! :hungry:
Yeah, I don't know what it up with my Drs office, they are great for minor things but they get bogged down with the organization, your team sounds very good. I think part of the problem is that I am going to a different hospital and it isn't part of the Atlantic Health Network. All of my info is in that network and St Clare's is not.

Rae- did I miss that your DH was in the hospital? I am sorry that I didn't wish him good luck earlier. Hope that he is feeling lots better.
I think that the changes you have made in your schedule make so much sense. It will probably take a while to get your energy back fully but you are on doing great!

Karen- crap about the soil contract. It is never easy, huh? I hope that something gets figured out. Thx for the info about the crutches :)

Morning, gals. Had a great time with the RH gals. Sorry, Chris... I forgot to have someone take a picture of my outfit. It had rained a bit before the lunch but had stopped. We all got there without getting wet and half way through it was thundering/lightening and pouring like mad. It slowed down a bit so we were able to get to the cars without getting wet. I stopped at the grocery store on the way home and got some fresh fruit and veggies plus a few other things. Had rain off and on all day and into last night. Looking cloudy still so may get more. Not complaining as we need the rain. 2 of my fruit trees in the backyard had blossoms on them yesterday and my day lily in the front yard has new green leaves... guess spring is getting ready to spring! I need to get some new plants for a few of the pots in front. Think I will try to find some perennials this time.

My printer ran out of ink. I thought I had some but didn't... so have to make a trip to get some. I was going to pick them up when I was at the base exchange last month but they were out of the ones I need. << sigh >>

Gotta run... DD#1 called and is on the way over and I am still in my PJs... CYL

Morning ladies! Quickly saying :hello: and then I have to get my lunch ready and pack my backpack for the hike today. It is very, very foggy right now so I sure hope it burns off before I leave! It looks like it will be a sunny day, however it is a chilly here this morning. So come on sunshine and warm us up a bit please!

Chris - Glad to hear that your niece's rat will get its surgery today! Why did Gary step in water yesterday morning? Was something leaking?? Sure hope not! Nice of him to go get you your creamer for your coffee!! My DH is having the same trouble with his rear view mirror, he has tried to re-attach it twice, but it keeps falling off :mmph: He just drives without it. He only has a short distance to get to work, so he really does not miss having it. I keep telling him he is going to get pulled over one of these days, so he should take it in to the Ford dealer and get it fixed!!! MEN!!

Kay - Too bad you did not get a pic of your outfit yesterday, but glad that you had such a great time! I bet they are a bunch of wonderful women! Hope you can find your printer ink for a good price. I get mine through Amazon and the prices are so much better than getting them at Staples or other stores.

Rae - Oh dear I hope that your D is feeling much better! I think that your schedule should help you out a lot and I hope that you can get in your jogs and weight lifting and regain your strength again! It is exhausting always being under some kind of stress!

Ok I am sorry ladies but I really need to get off the computer and get ready to go. Have a wonderful Wednesday! I hope you all are getting some sunshine today!

Hello ladies!
Kay- glad you had fun with the ladies.

Chris- wow-sounds pretty crazy at your house!

Trudy-hope you had a good hike

With one daughter in Japan and the other moved in her house down the street it is pretty quiet. I call it my empty nest! DD in Japan comes home for a visit this month and then for summer break sometimes this summer. She returns to teach school in August I believe. She doesn't tell me her schedule. I will know when she gets here! lol All good! I just realized she is home during the birthday. I will just have to take time to check in and say hi!
