Daily Ooo's: Wednesday, June 6

It is Wednesday and it is my brother's birthday! It is also very cold. 47*! right know. We will get into the 60's but I can't get warm after taking the pups outside this morning.



Yeah, it was a long day yesterday and I am so tired ATM. I hope that once the coffee kicks in I will start to feel better. Shop Rite was crazy as always. I know that they are finished it the way that the cold items are randomly scattered throughout the store makes no sense to me. Getting there a bit earlier helped as there weren't as many people to maneuver my cart around.
Cait's derm appt was long, but she was able to get the angioma removed. It was getting bigger over the last few days and even though it had stopped bleeding for the time being, we decided it was best to get it removed right then and there. She has a few stitches in her face but they will come out next week. It was perfect timing since it was after the June Bash and before my birthday party since she won't be able to put makeup on it until the stitches are out. The dr will send it out for a biopsy as required, but she didn't think that there was anything whatsoever to be concerned about. I also heard back from the LLMD about Cait's bloodwork- it shows old infections/antibodies but that doesn't mean much other than she had old infections- she can be having an active flare going on with this type of result. LLMD recommends that she comes in for a consult if she is still having symptoms. *sighs*



I have no plans today which is kind of nice. I don't want to waste the day but I can't seem to get my head together to do much of anything. I really must get back to writing my to-do lists every day. And follow it.



I have to go feed Floyd- he is meowing, probably for attention but maybe he will want some food too. Have to grab any opportunity to get food in him when he wants it.

Nancy- crazy weather all day yesterday, it was sunny, then cloudy, had a couple of sun showers, then full sun again. The sun was nice when it was out but when it went in, it was really chilly. Looks like the same kind of day today too. I can't wait for Friday when it will be nice again.
fantastic news about the plane tickets being done and being able to use a lot of miles. I am sure your SIL will be fine with any mess and she probably knows it is her brother's fault. ound:

There has to be something in the air between bad dreams and tense family members. Cait and I were talking about that yesterday, everyone in family is "off" and she has been having nightmares about her school being shot up. Can't imagine where any of this is coming from.

Hello girls,
I'm surprised and jealous that you still have chili weather, here was SO hot but fortunately today will rain!
I plan calm and quiet day with Biggie today. With all this fur he NOt accept this hotness with pleasure. Somehow till I watering yesterday I hurt my back again. The old pain between my shoulder blades is back, so today I'm on arnica cream. And both of us needs one peaceful day only for us. I didn't spend enough time with him past month, so have to redeem now. upkiss:

Hmm, looks like yesterday is been quiet day here.
Nancy, I bet you are relief now when all about your travel is done! I can't plan things like this, so left everything to my sister ! I think when you aren't help you don't have right to complain, so don't worry about what you are chosen for the others, I'm sure they will be happy enough (and hope grateful too)! About your SIL I think she wouldn't mind the mess, but this kind of view will make her to worries that she is become a reason of inconvenience for your family. So I guess you'll have to fix it before she comes. :ballchain:

Chris, congrats to your neighbor's daughter for the little princess! I think most cute is baby dressed up like animal. I'll dress up my nephews like that, and will learn them to make differences between sheep and goat, because modern child just can't . By the way is the word is nephews, when they are children of my cousin?

Oh, good that Cait finally had this appt! She is so pretty why need this make up every day? It's the pressure of the mainstream I guess, my sister is just like her, she put makeup even to open the front door. So probably is relieved that will can get it back for the birthday party. I'm a big fan of making daily To Do Lists, but never could mark them as done.

Morning my O-zies! I am here alone for the whole day. I picked up Jason and Jackie at the airport last night and we stayed up for a bit and chatted and they told me all about their house hunting trip. They are not too excited about having to live where the traffic is so terribly busy! It will only be for 10 months however and then on to Ottawa for god knows how long. I feel badly for the kids, to be moved around from school to school not fun! They found a fairly nice house to rent for the time that they are in Toronto and outside of the craziness of the city, close to work and the kids will be able to get bused to school. It makes me sad to think that they will have to start all over again to make new friends etc. I suppose it is better to do it at this age instead of when they are teenagers! Anyway today Storm is at his scheduled Doggie Day Care visit and the kids are at school, so I have the house to myself. I am working on a photo book project as I can't do any scrapping. Jason and Jackie will join me here for lunch so that will nice! Then I will have to wait for everyone to come back home after work/school so that DS can drive me to meet up with DH and then head on home. It has been a fun few days and so nice to be able to spend this time with my grandkids! DS got a new Jeep Grand Cherokee after selling his boat and the big truck that he had to haul it, so I got to drive that while they were away. At first I found it very intimidating and kind of scary to drive, it has all the bells and whistles, park assist, drive assist so that you stay a certain length away from the vehicle in front of you, it automatically puts the brakes on for you. Heated and cooled seats in the front and back, heated steering wheel and reclining back seats too. Sheesh it practically drives itself. Pretty nice and I felt so safe in it, now I want one LOL. My son is very spoiled!!

Chris - Hope the coffee kicks in for you and you feel more human soon! Your weather sounds very chilly, it is the same here, sun then cloud then rain then sun again. I had to walk Storm with a raincoat on just in case it started pouring, which it did a few times. Seems strange things are still happening with your posts as I see yours showed up twice again LOL. WTH?? Glad that Cait got her angioma removed, it should heal quickly and then she will be as lovely as ever for your party. I am sure that she doesn't need makeup to be lovely, she is such a beautiful young woman!

Felis - Sorry that your trip to get the books you wanted did not turn out the way it should have! Yikes on the shoe fiasco!! I hope that you can find a better pair of shoes to wear soon, ones that won't fall apart on you and fit you better! I hope you get to enjoy a nice quiet day with your fur babies today!

Ok I better hit the shower and perhaps go for a long walk at some point today, then I am expecting a facetime call from Heather and Hunter this morning, its so great that we can chat no matter where we are! Have a lovely day everyone, I will pop in again in a bit to catch up on things. :wave:

Good morning, ladies. Just a quick hello this morning. Taz went to daycare, I have a ton of work and I'm trying to do some chores around the house and keep busy so I'm not stressing about B this morning. She is getting another MRI today. I'm hoping the regression in symptoms was a temporary fluctuation in brain activity and that the swelling is going down. She seemed a bit better yesterday so hopefully that is a good sign.

Got my chopped root veggies and sliced sweet potato baked this morning for dinners this week and just need to prepare protein/meat when we get back from the hospital visits.

I've been taking Taz out for a short walk before we head to hospital to make sure he gets exercise and then when we get back if its not dark out yet I take him out for a few more minutes.
